Excellent Read!. This was a excellent book! It is funny and a page turner.

Bad editing and grammar mad me crazy. This was a pretty decent story line. However the grammar and editing was terrible. Also wow the story was a decent it was a bit clumsy at certain times in the book and the author could’ve done a better job at smoother entries and exits.

A good read. I enjoyed this book, it always is something to wanting to go home. My late husband was in the Navy and we left CA and nothing was the same when we finally got back 4 years later. We lived all over the US but I looked into the future.

Recommend. This book sucked me right in. It was twisted with unexpected turns. I loved Ashton & Millies story. I was glad it had a epilogue. My first book with this author. On to my next. David & Clarice. Giving 4 stars because it took forever for them to get together. Not rushed. Would like them to have more happiness then hurt.

Awesome 🤩. I loved this book even though I was biting my nails cause I was scared 2 of the main characters would never get on the right track about their love for one another.

Great start. Slow finish. Started off good. But the plot moved slowly and never really held much suspense.

Letter from a Rake. I love this book , I have read it for the second time.

Good. This author likes puffed cheeks, I don’t know why bugged and distracted me but it does. I read book in about 3 days. Easy to put down and pick back up. Basic story happy ending. Reading last in series next not sure I will finish series.

Funny. The story is interesting and funny. I loved all the misunderstandings and how they were resolved. The author adds humor into this interesting historical novel.

Letter from a rake. Well done! A story about a Strong heroine and a Young man who grows into a man—with trials and tribulations along the way. I enjoy a book that is well written and had a good proofreader. This is a ‘clean’ story with kissing being as heavy as it gets.

A Secret and a Letter. Letter From a Rake is the story of Millie Ashton and Alex Radley, Marquess of Brooke and heir to the Duke of Strathmore. Millie’s family has moved back to England from India, where she was born. She feels out of place and is quite homesick. Alex is the darling of the ladies of the Ton. He is handsome, respected, and sought after, but he has a secret. They meet and are taken with each other. A romance seems to be in the works until Alex makes a silly (but understandable for him) mistake. Now what happens? Letter From a Rake is Sasha Cottman’s debut novel and a wonderful introduction to the Duke of Strathmore series. The characters are fun and loveable. Millie is sweet and feisty, and the Radley siblings are a delight. It is a well-written story with a little angst and drama and a good dose of humor. Look for a couple of confused ladies, an angry earl, and misfortune in a maze, all because of a love letter gone astray. I enjoyed this story. The audio version was very good. Janine Haynes is a talented reader. Her narration was quite engaging, and I loved the excellent job she did with the characters’ voices. The audio version of this book was a gift. My review is voluntary.

Letter from a rake. Not the greatest or the worst book I’ve ever read. It was just ok. Would’ve liked for there to have been more romance. The storyline was pretty good. It just seemed like Alex and Milli didn’t have very many encounters with each other even though were the main characters.

.. The book itself was written well, the plot line flowed nicely. However, in my opinion, the characters themselves felt juvenile. It felt more as if I were reading about 15 and 16 year olds than adults. Still a good read and a sweet story though.

Love Tangles-Letter from a Rake. A lovely British story about love among the titled aristocracy. The characters are believable and fallible, causing mayhem and becoming the talk of the ton. Highly recommend the author and her other books as well.
