Excellent follow up to Caraval. I didn’t care much for Tella in Caraval so I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this book quite as much. She won me over, though, and this continuation of the story was hard to put down. Like Caraval, Legendary is imaginative and romantic and full of intrigue. It is also beautifully written.

LOVED IT. i loved it as much as i loved the first one. however, i wish i got more insight as to what was happening with scarlett as well. also i want to know what happens next because it left me wondering much like a cliff hanger.

My fav.💙🖤🌹. This was the best out of all three books and loved the romance between Tella and Dante. But I we really did not see a lot of what was going on with scarlet it was still good.I loved Jacks but I hated when he came and try to basically steal Tella away from Dante but I still felt bad for him but he is better with Evangeline and Dante and Tella were amazing together. Tella and Dante are my All time favorite ship for any book. I wish there was another book after finale about Tella and scarlet. ❤️

Mouth dropped. Wow…Wowwww. I am in shock right now at the ending and HOW it ended . Like… from finding who Legend is…to secrets between Tella and Scarlet coming to light….and omg, LEGEND. This man might be the smartest ‘villain’ I have ever read about. I loved the first book…but ‘LEGENDARY’ is way better in my opinion. You find out so much in the second book . I’m still not over the ending,

Stunning. This book had me chewing my nails, had me at the edge of my seat with all the plot twists and its written beautifully truly a work of art and I hope there’s more to come!

Love it!. I bought the book immediately after knowing it was released. I love this book as much as I love the first one. When I read Caraval, I was left with questions that I thought will remain unanswered but this book answer it all. I love both protagonist in Caraval and Legendary. This is mainly pure magic, just like the book is. The first word until the last bit, it was amazing! I heard there's book 3 too? I don't know but I'll make sure to stay tune!

Priceless. Stephanie Garber, you’ve done it again. How you so magically seem to wrap me up in a world I don’t belong in, yet making it seem as though I have every chance to belong...wow....this book took everything I thought I knew and completely tore my heart to pieces.

Good Followup. A good follow up, but not as good as the first. I did not much like the protagonist of Legendary, whereas I quite liked the protagonist of Caraval. I especially did not appreciate how the protagonist of the first book was almost neglected in the second. The protagonist of this sequel seems rather selfish and unable to think logically. She seriously stresses me out, going through the narrative I said to myself, if I’m thinking this in my head, why aren’t you? I had no such experience while reading Caraval. Another issue I had was that it is significantly shorter than Caraval, but attempts to tackle a massive plot line. Perhaps the author was rushed, but with a narrative as complicated as this, more time needed to be taken. I still enjoyed the writing style but the spirit of Caraval is vastly different. I read through it quickly, and I definitely see myself picking up the next book, however, I hope it redeems this one. Not bad, but could have been better. Definitely an unexpected direction for this series.

Seriously just stop. So the first book was decent, despite the only real descriptions being of hot guys and some cool effects every so often (outside of pretty dresses). Now it’s all back and worse! Every guy the characters meet is the “hottest man they have ever seen” whose every facial expression is fantastical and mesmerizing. It’s like reading a book by a guy where he talks about every girl having large boobs and a lilting laugh that twists their heart with its birdsong. All pretty words but still shallow and covering up poor writing falling well short of actually creating an interesting world from a promising concept. Building off of her inability to create interesting characters with depth (see: main characters are “beautiful and blonde” where all one does is a stereotypical worrier and the other is every tomboy trope wrapped into one), the only thing she can actually describe are dresses. If I was someone who studied fashion I would love this, but since I’m not it just gets boring. It makes the author appear to be a boy obsessed girl with a dress fetish. Don’t even get me started on her word choice. Every. Single. Description. Is over the top. If you actually ripped unnecessary descriptors out (because dear god it’s tiring) the book would be half its length. Don’t replace having no idea what to write or how to create an interesting world with banal adjectives that do nothing but create useless noise. If I wanted this kind of writing I would have read Twilight it any other shallow writing that tries so hard to be a movie/tv show without actually pushing itself to be more than the hormonal fantasies of an adolescent teenage girl with no world view.

Magically Delicious. Once again I’ve found myself falling in love with the magical world of Caraval and all of its players. Tella and Dante captivated me with their hot and cold romance, giving me enough to keep me interested and ultimately coming back for more. I couldn’t get enough of the extravagant parties with such vibrant and flamboyant descriptions. This book has an amazing energy and it felt purely animated. I too fell under a spell while reading. Loved it.

I can't wait for the third book!. You will fall in love with the game as if you were in it.This book is magic so don't get to swept away or the lines between reality and fiction will blur.:)

Best sellers. This book was really good❤️❤️❤️💯

Loveee!. Another amazing book in the series! Loved how this one had a little more steamy romance lol. I usually am able to predict endings but Stephanie makes it hard to see what’s coming!!

My Favorite!. Even though I absolutely LOVED all three books, Legendary was my favorite. Tella was absolutely my spirit animal throughout the whole series and it was great to delve into her POV this time. I loved her character and I loved her with Dante! I was curious about Dante’s character since the first book and It was exciting to see where this story took them. Just absolutely amazing!

Love this series. I just love this series and am so glad I found it! It’s been SO hard to put the book down in order to get work done these past few days - my favorite kind of books!

Amazing read. Such a good book! Couldn’t put it down

Legendary. This book is absolutely fantastic! Stephanie Garber weaves a tale of romance, comedy, and adventure all in one! This is by far one of the best books I’ve ever read!

Tella is my sister. Tella is exactly my sister. Lol. I’m kinda Scarlett. I like that it’s not just a fake romance where the characters are obviously written only to fall for each other, they take their time getting together and establishing a relationship first. Then the plot is interesting. The Fates thing was not where I was expecting it to go but it was still really good. I love this series. Definitely a good quick read.

Love it. I wasn’t sure what to expect after Caraval - usually, sequels can be so disappointing - but what a fantastically fun read this was, again! Besides Stephanie Garber’s consistent and wonderful playfulness with words, I loved the male love interest(s) and the tension in the relationships. Legendary is a book you won’t be able to put down, and I can’t wait ‘till 2019 when the final book in the trilogy comes out. Along with Caraval, the first book, this is a perfect summer read! (Additional note: check out the authors Legendary Pinterest page…wow!)

Magical!!. A great sequel that picks up with Tella. Highly highly recommend.

@thepinkpublications. I just finished Legendary ! And let me tell you there were a world of twists in this book. The reason why I love the Caraval series by @stephanie_garber so much is because you never know what awaits you at every page turn! We learned some secrets in this book that for the sake of not spoiling the book for you, I won’t say. But they had me with my jaw dropped in the last ten chapters of the book. I also liked that this book was a little more invested in Tella, since we rarely saw her in Caraval. But even though we do see more of Tella, the book is definitely focused on Dante, Jacks (I was excited that I saw him in this series cause I only saw him in the UOABH series) and of course Paloma, Tella and Scarletts mother. Overall for me this was a 4/5 ⭐️ for me ! 🤍
