KENNER 5 foodie stars Of course I’ve loved the Man of the Month Series, but this is so much fun as well….just like bar bites of little foods and drinks there are little teasers of some of our favorite new couples. These recipes come at a perfect time...graduation parties and summer BBQ’s. Can’t wait to test them out...reading made me hungry! “The man called to her without saying a word. Possessed her without using his hands. Captured her with only his eyes.” Julie continues to amaze me with her creative writing concepts! You have never read a cookbook like this before...you may need to have a cool refreshing drink on hand for some of these mini slices of stories! “I think you’ve destroyed me...In the best possible way.”

Yummy and delicious!. I opened this ebook fully expecting to find some delicious recipes to try, and I definitely did. But there is so much more. I was pleasantly surprised by the 4 novellas giving more story for Reese, Nolan, Spencer, and a new story for Eric. These delicious stories pair quite nicely with some yummy recipes. Thoroughly enjoyed all.

Recipes and love!. Bar Bites is a cross of the Man of the Month cookbook, 3 couple update stories and 1 new couple's story. There is quite a few recipes provided that I really want to try out. I'll come back to this review later to post what I think of the recipes I try. I like getting little epilogues on couples. They are almost better than their stories because we get to see the couples already past the angst of trying to get together and we get to see them happy and in love. The author gave us a glimpse into these 4 couples: -Reece and Jenna and the birth of their daughter. -Nolan and Shelby dealing with having their lives on camera 24/7 with the restoration of the mansion and possibly news on the next step of their relationship. -Spencer and Brooke. Brooke has fears that Spencer is hiding something and she gets the surprise of her life. -And our new couple, Eric and Tiffany. We get a full but very short story of their beginning, how they deal with a complication that could come between them and since this author doesn't leave us hanging, their HEA

Man of the Month Cooking Style. Bar bites allows us to catch up with Reece, Nolan, Spencer, and newly introduced to Eric. Great epilogues for the previous stories and I’m sure some awesome recipes for all of Tyrees yummys!

Great recipes and updates!!. A perfect companion to Man of the Month books. Updates on your favorite Man of the Month couples (including a new arrival), fantastic recipes (which can be transformed to gluten free) and Tiffany and Eric's first kiss. You cannot ask for more.

A Delicious Read!. "You're mine, Tiffany. Wholly and completely. Body and soul. And you know what else? I'm yours too." I've enjoyed reading this series and this little nibble is something a bit different. We get to see what's been going on with the couples we've come to know and love, read hints of stories to come, and we get Eric and Tiffany's story of their slow-burn secret crush turned steamy! Add to that the recipes for some of the yummy morsels and cocktails from The Fix menu, and you've got one delicious book!! Only a few more Man of the Month books to go! Can't wait!

Clever. Such a fun read! Bar Bites is a short book filled with recipes, cocktails, love, desire and sexy time. Throughout the monthly specialty foods are little snippets of past Man of the Month couples. This was a great idea and I absolutely loved the extra storylines of some of my favorites in the series. Eric and Tiffany’s Just a Kiss is a quick story that’s included at the end of the monthly treats. J Kenner is brilliant and her writing continues to keep me in my happy place.

This cookbook will make you hungry!. I really liked how The Fix recipes were combined with snippets into various couples’ lives! I can’t wait to try these recipes and the stories were sexy and hot!

Food and Men.. This has to be the best cookbook I have ever read. So food mixed with stories about some of the characters. I really enjoyed looking at the recipes and then revisited some of the men and their ladies from the Man Of The Month books. I look forward to making the dishes. The recipes are some of the dishes served at the made up bar The Fix on Sixth.

Bar Bites by J. Kenner is a fun collection.... Bar Bites by J. Kenner is a multifaceted book. The cookbook portion of it gives recipes and anecdotes for the fun dishes and drinks that we have heard about throughout the Man of the Month series. Added to that are added epilogues from some favorite characters. I enjoyed the short story that we are given about Eric and Tiffany. They have been working together at The Fix on Sixth and pining after each other for a while. Hanging over them is TIffany's previous relationship with Eric's brother, but a bit of a nudge from their friends and they are off to the races. Theirs is a fast, whirlwind romance that goes straight to the fast lane and nothing will derail it. Their commitment to each other is immediate, passionate, and unbreakable. Overall Bar Bites by J. Kenner was a fun collection. I liked all the aspects of it. The recipes, the epilogues and the story. If you have been reading the Man of the Month series this is definitely a great addition. What a great idea. 5 Star reviews of Bar Bites: A Man of the Month Cookbook by J Kenner & Suzanne M. Johnson What’s better than sharing a great meal with loved ones and good friends? Not a whole lot I’m thinking, so to me this was a total winner from the start. Bar Bites is filled with a few scenes about some of our favourite couples from the Man of the Month series, not to mention a couple of new characters, along with some truly spectacular mouth-watering and inspiring recipes which will leave you begging for more. Often when you are reading one of the books you will find yourself imagining the dishes and or drinks that are mentioned Throughout the books the culinary delights are often mentioned in passing and many readers, me included have asked for the “secrets” to these dishes; this book is the result. This book is a great mix of stories and easy to follow recipes that might well inspire your own Mon of the Month experience, I know I am certainly going to have a go at some of these recipes. This was a great combining of three of my passions, cooking, drinking and the highly successful Man of the Month series. Way to go J Kenner and Suzanne Johnson; I loved this book and know that there are many who will appreciate it.

Original very different read. What a great idea for a book that’s linked to a series but can hold its own as a cookery book. This book has many recipes that we have read about in Man of the Month plus a few more and we got an added bonus of some short loveable reads catching up with previous characters and one new couple. I was thrilled to get more from Reese and Jenner and what’s better than a birth .... then we caught up with Nolan and Shelby, Spencer and Brooke and then we got a glimpse of a Eric and Tiffany a couple we have yet to meet...... Love the concept, love the recipes, love the couple and I guess you have got the picture ....I loved this book and if you love cooking or reading romance you will too.
