Excellent read. Very absorbing; interesting; can’t put down;

Good read!. Very well researched book with much more than just the basic facts of the crime, but also the criminals life after jail and the effect on her family members. I’m a Ann Rule fan and this was even better.

Good story, poorly written. This book was good, in theory, but poorly executed. The author’s writing was hard to get through at times, and didn’t flow nicely. I wish another author would have helped Hazel write her story!

Interesting story, but so terribly written.. It took me an agonizing year to read this book. I read through most books in a day or two. This one, could not keep my focus for anything. The writing was all over the place. So unfortunate.

Greatly Enjoyed!!. You never know what you are going to get with bargain books, but with a long trip ahead of me to a family Christmas and my new resolution to give up Facebook for 2019, I found this book and was interested from the summary. This is a very well written book. You almost feel like you are watching with your own eyes what Hazel and her siblings were going through. You feel her anxiety when she decides to tell her secrets and the relief when her mother is sentenced. I read this book, start to finish, in two days and I’m almost sad I finished it so quickly. I very much recommended this book to anyone who enjoys true-crime stories, you will not be disappointed.

A compelling read. I’m amazed that people can retain their humanity and compassion after being exposed to evil.

Interesting book. This was an interesting read. This woman seemed to be a narcissistic sociopath. The fact that the daughter who wrote the book actually cared for her mother when she was older is astounding! I don’t think I could have cared for such an atrocious mother and human being. Proof indeed that evil lives amongst us.

My Mother, A Serial Killer. It really troubles me that Drucy and Harry didn’t get longer sentences. Especially amazing that she wasn’t sentenced to life without parole. Hazel is one strong lady.
