A good imaging …. The storytelling was great, the idea excellent, but why did it suddenly need the typical “romance genre” phrasing, no longer acceptable for my pre-teen who would love it otherwise.

Nicely done reimagining & retelling. The story is kind of a cross between Cinderella and Mulan. The main characters are nicely developed and the evil step mother is far more likable than expected. Some further development of the step sisters and fairy godmother might add another lawyer to this delightful tale. It has nothing explicit but is probably not a story for very young children. Look for more from this writer.

Dance: Cinderella Retold. Loved it. Absolutely loved it. I have never felt compelled to leave a review before this book. Absolutely amazing. I read it all in one shot. Truly loved the twist on Cinderella and Mulan here - my favourite classics. Definitely a must-read. Thank you to the author for creating a beautiful story and sharing it with us!!

Dance. I've never before been so tempted to write a review, but having just read two of Carltons books in 24 hours, I simply cannot help myself. The only for Carltons "Dance" is magical. By the end of the story, I was half in love with both protagonists. The mixture of strength and vulnerability in both characters, and they interact, is compelling, and had me up all night finishing the story.
