Awesome Book. Growing up in the south Louisiana especially we have the same catch phrases and etc. I am a teen mom as well, my daughter is still very young, but this book gave me insight of things to look forward for. I really feel like I’m so hard on her, because I want her to be better than me, but Toya gave great advice in a more modern up to date way! Truly loved this book!

More details. I wanted more from reginae more of her story the friends she dealt with i loved toya as she explained her life and wouldvde loved her experiences with her parents as well.

You just don’t get it. The book is amazing ! It related to me as a teenager so well . I felt like i was being talked to by my mother !! Being a mother isn’t easy and growing up as a teenager isn’t either but going through what you go through with you mom is all gonna count at the end !
