Brooklynaire by Sarina Bowen Book Summary

A standalone USA Today bestseller from Sarina Bowen.

You’d think a billion dollars, a professional hockey team and a six-bedroom mansion on the Promenade would satisfy a guy. You’d be wrong.

For seven years Rebecca has brightened my office with her wit and her smile. She manages both my hockey team and my sanity. I don’t know when I started waking in the night, craving her. All I know is that one whiff of her perfume ruins my concentration. And her laugh makes me hard.

When Rebecca gets hurt, I step in to help. It’s what friends do. But what friends don’t do is rip off each others’ clothes for a single, wild night together.

Now she’s avoiding me. She says we’re too different, and it can never happen again. So why can’t we keep our hands off each other?

I loved this fresh new twist on the billionaire storyline and the absolutely dreamy hero. Nate is everything I could ever want in a book boyfriend - he's smart, confident, and completely smitten! Brooklynaire is sexy and addictive! #1 New York Times Bestseller Lauren Blakely

Definitely worth the read. Don’t just settle for the sample! Read it all! You won’t regret it.

Brooklynaire. Good characters. Interesting story about friends that become something more.

❤️❤️. Loved it!!!! Once you start reading it, you want be able to put it dow!! ❤️❤️❤️

Amazing. I loved the enthusiastic that Georgia brings to Rebecca when she panics. I especially love when you do their thoughts.

Great Book. Loved it!!! Wish there was a movie!!!

Brooklynaire. Loved it!

Bored. Got bored with the sample

The Best of the Series. The Best!!! That is all that I need to say about this! Ok, So I'll elaborate a bit. I've thoroughly enjoyed each book thus far in the Brooklyn Bruisers series by Sarina Bowen. And throughout the first 3 books, we've seen the building of the relationship between Nate and Rebecca. Read and felt the sexual tension between these two build. Finally, we get their story. This one focuses exclusively on Nate, owner of the Brooklyn Bruisers and his personal assistant, Rebecca. This particular story doesn't focus so much on the hockey aspect of the Brooklyn Bruisers series - it is a minor role in the book. This one is more of a traditional romance between While this particular story can be read as a standalone, I personally feel that it's better read as part of the series. There are appearances from characters that readers have been previously been introduced to throughout the series and it is always fun to reconnect with them.

Brooklynaire. Loved the story line and characters. What an upbeat story and one that makes you want to find another book just as entertaining. Recommend this book to anyone who wants to feel uplifted!

Great read. Sarina Bowen knocks another one out of the park. Your heart will melt for Nate.

Brocklynaire. I recommend this a great book.

Look past the cover…. I really liked this story, despite its unfortunate cover. Want to portray a smart man? Slap some glasses on your model. Don’t have glasses? Just drop a photo of them onto an existing photo. Too bad. The story within is worth better.

Brooklynaire. Great read

Billionaires.... Fun read! It is always nice to get lost in a fantasy!!

Terrific!. I was so glad that this was not another billionaire and office assistant romance. It was so much more. I absolutely loved Nate and Rebecca! Nate has worked hard to get where he is. The man is a genius and it was fate that brought Rebecca into his life. She had to leave college and return home to work after the death of her father and Nate desperately needed an office manager to keep the everyone on task. For seven years they worked together and the attraction for Rebecca was always there, but it had grown so much that he needed to have less exposure to her or otherwise his attraction for her would be known. When the opportunity came up, he transferred Rebecca to run the office of the hockey team he owns across town. He never told her why and it always nagged at Rebecca why he transferred her. Rebecca always takes care of everyone else. She works hard, and she is such a sweetheart with a lot of sass. She kept those hockey players in line and they adored her. Rebecca fell in love with Nate from the start. He was nerdy, sweet, protective, loyal, distracted and taken. So, he was safe. Over the years she had kept her attraction for him to herself. She helped him through a terrible breakup with his finance. She never felt like she would be good enough for him. She didn’t finish college and she worried that he would get bored with her and feel that she wasn’t his equal. Even though they worked so well together, and she kept things on task. An unfortunate accident happens to Rebecca, and Nate takes the opportunity to reach out and help Rebecca and hopefully spend some one on one time together to explore their relationship. Maybe take it from friends to lovers. Nate wanted and was ready for more. This story tugged at my heart! The author did such a good job of developing the characters and emotions that it brought out in me. I felt what they were feeling. I also loved the voice-controlled speaker, Bingly. He was hilarious, especially when he had the British accent like Mr. Darcy! This was one of those books that you can’t put down because you are so into it and emotionally involved. If you want a great friends to lovers romance, give this wonderful book a try!

Loved Nate and Rebecca’s story. 4.5 stars for - Brooklynaire - book four in the Brooklyn Bruisers series by Sarina Bowen. This book can be read as a complete stand-alone to the series as it features the team owner and the woman he loves. These two have been circling each other for quite a while now and leaving us wanting more. This is their entire story told in both the past and present in alternating POVs. Rebecca Rowley was in college when her father passed away. She chose to leave school and get a job to help provide for her family. When she got a tip from a friend about a new company looking for a office manager all she could do was apply and that led her to Kattenberger Technologies. Now seven years later the company has taken off more so than anyone has ever dreamed it could and the cute, but sexy tech geek she interviewed with is one of her closest friends. Rebecca worked with Nate side by side and helped him grow his company into the industry giant that it is today, so no one was more shocked when he transferred her to Brooklyn to run his newly acquired hockey team than she was. Nate Kattenberger has calculations for everything and with his team - The Brooklyn Bruisers - playing as well as they are this year, the Stanley Cup has a real chance to be brought home to Brooklyn , despite what all the naysayers that wanted him to fail have said. Nate can predict the outcome for most things in his life with simple calculations and prefers it that way. The only thing that consistently throws him off kilter is his beautiful assistant, but he is so tired of fighting his feelings for her and decides to finally make her his. This was a sexy, sweet and even a bit angsty friends to lover romance that's set in a hockey world so how can you possibly go wrong! With quick check-in's from previous couples too this is one series I just love to read. Can't wait for the next season of Bruiser's hockey.

Great. Loved it, well written.

Great read. I loved the book, from palindromes to tech guy start up plot. Though office romance like one between boss and secretary is very common, story actually starts when they are no longer working together in that set up. I would have loved more character build up about hockey players, who have stories dedicated in the series further, like more info about goalie, or few interactions would have made me more interested in follow up story of Lauren and him. Light read with no real villain or gray characters.

Thank God. I hate pregnancy tropes so im happy everything worked out. It was dual pov which i love! I can't stand when everything is told in one person's pov. The fact that everyone could tell he was inlove with becca except becca was annoying lol I just wanted them together lol. Anyways definitely worth a read their story was so cute. Not in my top 10 or anything but I throughly enjoyed ill have to check out the other books in the series.

Brooklynaire. Love, love this series by Sarina Bowen! More Please!

Wow. I loved this book!!! What a great story

So cute. Very cute story. Some spicy scene balanced with the romantic ones.

4 stars. Humorous, witty, romantic.

Brocklynaire. This was one of the best books I’ve read in a long time. Loved, loved it. Characters were so real, I felt like I was part of story. Could not put it down at all. Once I started, had to finish. It truly deserves 5 stars.

Hilariously fun. This book will make you laugh out loud. The personality of these characters shines through and creates a wonderful story line. You won’t want to put it down! Hands down one of the best books I’ve read this year!

Brooklynaire. Sarina knows how to tell an exciting story. Her characters are so alive and real. You end up feeling everything that they’re feeling. They leave me breathless!

Fantastic!. A great friends to lovers storyline in the hockey world. I loved the banter and chemistry between Nate and Rebecca. You will definitely laugh out loud and swoon throughout this story. Can’t wait to read/listen to the rest of this series. Zachary Webber and Virginia Rose nailed the narration.

So good!. Nate and Bec, we've waited so long for your story... and you didn't disappoint. I'll admit, this one felt a little different, writing style wise, in the beginning. I'm not sure it was a different Yes technique in which the past jumps were told in a different style; but it threw me off a bit. It doesn't continue through the whole book, so it was fine in the end. But seeing Nate and Rebecca go through all of their motions and the tidbits from all sides, it made me smile through every word. Their quirks and cuteness is off the charts. And the ending was a very well deserved, well-rounded surprise!

Loved it!. Absolutely loved it! Nate and Becca were perfection. This is a slow burning friends to lovers romance and very well done. :)

Love!!!. Beautifully written! I’ve already read this book twice in two weeks with all the other books in the Bruisers series. So inlove with both Nate and Becca! 💕

💜 Nate & Becca Were Worth the Wait! 💜. This is a book I have wanted from the moment I met the characters in Rookie Move. It's an equal parts sweet friends to lovers and angsty taboo/forbidden boss and employee romance. I devoured this book and could not get enough. Nate and Becca's story was everything I hoped for and more than I could have dreamed. Though characters from the author's Brooklyn Bruisers series appear, and that is where we initially meet our hero and heroine, Brooklynaire can be read as a standalone. I loved the glimpses into the past and seeing the start of the friendship between Nate and Becca. Their histories and meet cute gave their relationship more depth and the stable foundation for everything to come. I already loved both characters, but finally getting into their minds and seeing things from their points of view was amazing. Nate and Becca aren't perfect, but that made them and their story more realistic and relatable. Sure, he's a billionaire and a genius, but at the end of the day, he's still just a man in love. The build up between them was delicious and their chemistry was off the charts. When the stars FINALLY aligned for them, my kindle nearly burst into flames. Seriously, if there had been someone to high five, I would have. The road to happily ever after isn't a smooth one for Nate and Becca though, and there is some drama and a road block or two thrown in for good measure. In the end, however, it is all worth it and the wait to get to this moment will feel insignificant. Brooklynaire has all the laughs, swoons, and heart that fans of Sarina Bowen know and love. The main events of the story run concurrently with the book Pipe Dreams, with snippets in the past and one of the most smile inducing epilogues ever. My heart is full and I am so overjoyed that Nate and Becca finally got their story. *I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book*

I couldn’t put it down. Wow, what a book. I couldn’t put it down. Once started the story pulls you in and follows the slow burning love story of two people who have known each other for many years. Nate as the boss and Rebecca an assistant. I can throughly recommend this book. Its a great read and Sarina Bowen at her best.

Zamboni romance. Definitely a slow burner and given that I thought there would be more make perspective this book needed a bit more work. It’s pluses was the look back at how the relationship started and the world of hockey.

4 “Million dollar” stars. My, that was darling! *Looks up at Sarina adoringly* BROOKLYNAIRE is the long awaited story of hockey team owner Nate Kattenberger and office manager, Rebecca Rowley. It’s a delightful friends to lovers romance that begins when Becca answers an ad for Nate’s software company. They’ve work alongside each other for seven years, and in that time their relationship has progressed beyond that of boss and employee. They have a deep respect and admiration for one another, but it’s only when Becca injures herself do they realize how deep their affections lie. Like most billionaires Nate is incredibly successful and driven, but my favourite quality of his was the unrelenting support of Becca. I enjoyed the journey of realization and the tentativeness when they finally gave in. Sarina Bowen can do no wrong in my eyes. BROOKLYNAIRE is a wonderfully sweet story, and I had no complaints when it came to its glasses-fogging steam. Readers of the Bruiser’s series will appreciate how fresh and engaging Sarina made the story. It’s worth mentioning that although Nate & Becca have made appearances in the Brooklyn Bruisers series, this can absolutely be read as a standalone.

Great stand-alone with brilliant characters. New hot stand-alone from Sarina Bowen and this book is everything you would expect from this go to author of mine,a professional hockey team, a billionaire hot owner and a friends to lovers romance this book has it all. Nate Kattenberger billionaire businessman and owner of the Brooklyn Bruisers ice hockey team, he is hot, handsome and he has loved Becca for what seems like forever and that’s why he moved her from being his PA to working over at the hockey team, he needed to remove the temptation. Becca feels the same way but neither of them will give into their feelings until Becca has an accident on the ice and ends up with a head injury that needs around the clock care........ I loved this book so much, if you love sports romance, billionaires or friends to lovers you certainly will want to one click this brilliant read. The only thing I’m sad about is this is a stand-alone and I wanted more I really wish I had a second book to look forward too because once again Sarina Bowen has given me another couple I have fallen fallen in love with and a book that I will read and read again. Yet another 5 Star read from a very talented author.

Hooked from the first chapter!. Best book I’ve read in ages!! Couldn’t put it down!!

Hot for hockey. Really enjoyed this book. A great, easy read. 👍👍👍👍👍😁

Long but nice. This was probably a bit too long for me, I nearly gave up a third of the way in because I felt like it wasn’t giving me enough hope for Nate and Becca. There is also a lot of hockey. I stuck with it though and was glad I did. I enjoyed that the happy ending is very drawn out, we really get to see how everything unfolds. Good stuff, but still unnecessarily long.

Brooklynaire. A sweet, quick read full of lots of tension and lol’s. There’s just the right amount of banter and longing looks that they think nobody notices. It has got a bit of friends to lovers, close proximity, billionaires and dating you boss tropes to keep you interested. Dual POV, med spice, 18+

Hockeyesque. First time book from this author and really enjoyed it. Nice balance of characters and friend to romance nicely done. Will read more.

Nate and Becca. Good book with an interesting storyline. There were a few plot twists which kept my attention. This was the first book in the series I’ve read so I think I’ve missed a few background things that would have made the story for enjoyable. All in all, not a bad book.

Brooklynaire. A thoroughly great story of friendship , determination and falling in love . Loved it

Wow. Really well written , all the feels

WOW. I chose this book looking for a new writer and I am so glad I did as I thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved Nate and Rebecca. Look forward to reading more from Sarina❤️ 2nd time reading this book and loved more
