Home is the place that makes you feel happy!. The title says it all! Heat, this is one hot story! This is by far the hottest Melissa Foster book I have read. Serena finally gets a chance at an upscale interior design company, but it means leaving Drake, the man she has had a crush on since her freshman year in high school. Drake has always been attracted to Serena, but decides that being an overprotective “big brother” is a better idea. What is he going to do now that Serena is leaving town to live her dream? Years of working together and looking out for each other make them best friends. All the platonic time they spent together takes on a new edge as they test out a romantic relationship. Balancing a career with a social life is hard to do when they happen in cities hours apart. This story embodies strong characters who think through decisions from many angles before making a decision. The setting is amazing and makes me want to visit Boston and the beaches on the east coast more.

Dreams do come true.. I have always been a fan of all your novels, so adding Drake and Serena to the love fest is my pleasure. Drake and Serena have always loved each other, but life got in the way. High school, college, careers but they continued to be constant in each other’s lives even as friends and family got engaged and/or married. They both had their own issues growing up Drake losing his father and Serena mother choosing men over raising her daughters properly. But their loved story is beautiful....

Okay but way too long. The story was bearable, but dragged on to the point where I started skipping whole chapters just to get through it. The writer is talented, but if you like stories that keep your interest and move at a decent pace this isn’t it. One thing that stood out to me most was the fact that the forplay lasted fourteen pages and the actual lovemaking lasted two paragraphs max... 😬

Wow!. I loved this book. Superman and supergirl rule! They finally get together the night before she is leaving town, he wanted to show her how much he looks loved her and boy did he! I recommend this book highly!

4 sweet Bayside stars. Bayside Summer book #3 is Drake and Serena’s love story. When two people that have so much sexually charged energy keep things friendly, things are bound to explode into hot passion. I really enjoyed their book. I loved watching them finally give in to their intense connection and explore things as a couple. I couldn’t get enough of the friendships, they are a great tight knit group. Ava Erickson and Aiden Snow did a wonderful job portraying the characters.

Friends to lovers .... This is very much a friends to lovers (or rather a wannabe lovers to lovers) love story. As is typical in a lot of Ms Foster's books, the main characters, Drake and Serena, have known each other since they were kids and have loved each other since they were teenagers, but never acted on it. Cue the drama and fanciful music now. Serena gets an opportunity of a lifetime and Drake does not want to hold her back but his feelings are too strong. So they embark on a "long distance" relationship. I love the core group of friends in this book, especially Vi. She is outspoken and blunt and I love her. I'm curious to see how everyone else's love lives turn out and who they end up with. Now that Gavin has been introduced into the mix, who will he end up with? Only time will tell.

THIS BOOK LIVES UP TO ITS NAME!. Friends to lovers is my favorite genre to read and that is what this book is about. I recommend this book without hesitation. Drake and Serena have been friends since childhood, have the same set of close friends, and are also close to their siblings who are all featured in this book. Some of these characters appeared in the first two books in this series, Bayside Desires and Bayside Passions, which I also recommend although it’s not necessary as you can enjoy this book as a standalone. This book has all the feels. You can tell from writing that they both long to be together, but due to circumstances from their past and present, they don’t act on their feelings until Serena makes a bold move to advance her career and move to Boston. What I like best about this book is they are both a bit older, in their early 30s and are established in their lives. I love the fact that they are both characters that I admire and would want to be friends with in real life. He’s not the jerk or playbook type. Drake is not only hot, handsome, and charming, but loyal, smart, hardworking, funny, respectful, considerate, and generous. The perfect hero! He is a successful businessman in partnership with his friends. Both he and Serena work seamlessly as a team and give credit where it is due. Serena worked for his two companies for many years and I really enjoyed reading about the business side of event planning and custom interior design that was featured often in this book. She initially worked for Drake in his two businesses, one in hospitality and one in retail music, but wanted more out of her career and secured a big promotion away from home. I liked how she was as a boss and her relationships with her new co-workers. I am hoping Gavin gets a love story of his own…hint, hint! Serena was witty, amazing, smart, a great leader and friend, and also very gifted and talented in her line of work. I liked how she was her own woman and stood up for what she believed in. I loved how even though she was 100% committed to Drake, she didn’t let him define her, or her relationship with her mom stop her from pursuing her dreams. She was a rock star and his nickname for her of "Supergirl" fit her perfectly! They complimented and supported one another to make each a better person, even though being in a long distance relationship was tough. I loved how thoughtful and selfless he was and all the little things he did for her to make her know she was always on his mind. He believed in her and gave her the space she needed to figure out her future. It did take them a few chapters to get together, but the build up was fantastic and didn’t go on too long as it often does in other books. It was just the right amount of time for the reader to route for them and pray they get their happy ending. Bayside Heat (book 3) lives up to its name and packs the steam! Blake and Serena have undeniable chemistry and the ending of this book was everything I hoped it would be. I just wish there was an epilogue and hope that their story continues in the next book in this series. I received an advanced copy for my honest review.

Love me some Drake. FINALLY! Drake and Serena’s book. This is one I have been waiting for. This is a fantastic friends to lovers book. Serena is a character we know from a few of the other Bayside books. She is best friends with Mira Savage and he known the Savage family since childhood. Drake Savage we met in a previous book as well, his brother Rick’s. There was always chemistry and sexual tension in those other books between Serena and Drake and now finally we get to hear their story. Serena has been in love with him forever. After helping Drake with his resort and getting his music stored up and running, she gets a job offer in Boston. After 4 years waiting for Drake to make a move or for any sign of interest for that matter, she decides to take the interior design job in Boston. When Drake hears that Serena is leaving, he gets angry. Angry with himself and the situation. He has always had feelings for her, but the timing was always off. But now with her moving away, so do his chances with the only girl he’s ever loved. This book had everything for me. A sexy, amazing man, a strong independent woman and all of their friends and family. We even get to see a few of the older characters from previous books. These keep getting better and better and adding in new characters. I CAN NOT wait to hear who tames the crazy Violet next! A must read

Loved this sweet, sassy love story. 🎧🎧Audio Review 🎧🎧 Bayside Heat 3rd book in the Bayside Summer Series Loved this slow burn, friends-to -lovers story. This story was light, sexy, and sassy. Serena and Drake had been friends for most of their lives. After so many years of friendship, even though both pinning for more, Serena makes the move to a new city away from family, friends and her first love. The shift in her life was pulling the rug from those that she loved, including herself. Many untold feelings and truths leave Drake in a tailspin. Finally after so long realizes what’s important to him and makes a move. But will it be enough, will it be to late? Follow along on this great read to see how Serena and Drakes love story unfolds! It was a great read. This is a standalone but intertwines with the other books in the series. It was nice to see the other characters continue on their journeys as well. The narrators Ava Erickson and Aiden Snow did a fabulous job in this book. Keep me engaged and made all the characters so real and authentic.

Highly Recommend!. Oh my! Another great book from Melissa Foster! I was so happy to read Serena and Drakes story! Friends to lovers and their finding there way to their happy ever after and along the way we get to see what’s up with the characters from the previous books! Melissa writes beautiful love stories filled with such great chemistry and banter between the characters that you smile and laugh a lot! Highly recommend!

Sexy, swoony friends to lovers romance. Bayside Heat is a sweet and sexy friends to lovers romance. I was completely smitten with Drake Savage. He's a mans MAN. Hot as sin. Broody af. And, I just adored how much he loved Serena. The childhood flashbacks gave me all the feels .and was a perfect addition to their story. It added to the chemistry between Drake and Serena. Their bond & love for another. Strong. Selfish. Unconditional. I also, enjoyed the dynamic they shared with the supporting characters. I can't wait to read more by Melissa Foster!

Cute friends to lovers romance. This was my first book read by this author and this book can be read as a standalone but I definitely look forward to reading all of this series! I felt this book was sweet and emotional with a little humor thrown in and was a great end of summer read!

Sizzling! Hot! Beach Read!👙⛱🔥🍹. I absolutely love Drake and Serena. I’m totally hooked. Absolutely loved catching up with the rest of Bayside Crew. Took Drake long enough to fall Serena. I absolutely love how Melissa intergrades other characters from different series. Melissa Foster books are definitely a Beach book. Curious to see if she does a story of Daphne could possibly hook her up with Gavin or Everett. Would love to see Daphne with Gavin.

Loved it. Having already read a previous book in this series, I was looking forward to listening to this one. As I expected Melissa Foster did a great job and the narrators Ava Erickson and Aiden Snow really brought Bayside Heat to life for me. Drake Savage and Serena Mallery have been mentioned in previous books and I was looking forward to listening to their story. I particularly enjoy friends to lovers stories and this one did not disappoint. The chemistry between Drake and Serena was intense and it was great to catch up with other characters from the series. All in all an enjoyable listen.

The story centres around Serena and Drake who have been friends since childhood .
