Shutdown Player. Loved the book and the characters in it. Have read some other books of yours and I really enjoy them. Thanks for taking your readers out of whatever they’re dealing with and giving them fun,laughs,and sometimes suspense oh and don’t forget the romance.

Score!!. This book was soo good that I was able to finish in one day. This is the first book in a long time that has left me able to say that. Jared is a unique character in that he is a professional Hockey player who is broke. He is divorced and has to give most of his paycheck to his ex. He wants a forever relationship and looks to a matchmaker service for help. Stephanie is timid after having got out of an abusive relationship. She is not looking for a relationship but after meeting Jared she starts thinking about the possibility of one with him. She works for the matchmaker service he has hired to help him find is forever love. Little do they both know but the owners of the service know they are the perfect match and “trick” them into pending time getting to know one another. They both have secrets that they are not ready to share but for Steph her secrets get out before she can share them with Jared. As they try to deal with deamons from their past they realize just how much they love one another and are the perfect match.

Broken But Loved. Awesome couple. Both the hero and heroine have there own troubles. I love how Jami D. took them both and brought them together slowly revealing their insecurities and over coming them. We all have Skelton’s in our closet and have things we aren’t proud of. Things we have grown from but wouldn’t want used against us. Jared and Stephanie are no exception to the rule. Reading about how their pasts held them back from each other yet wasn’t used against them by the other was an encouraging read. They were two very broken souls. Jared having been duped and milked dry by his recent ex and Stephanie with her past profession and abusive ex these are two people who found there way to each other against all odd. I didn’t expect anything less from Jami as she always writes such inspirational stories. Can’t wait for more to come from this AMAZING author. Jami is by far one of my top five go to authors. You can read her books over and over and walk away with a renewed happiness for yourself and the characters.

Loved it!. A ton of heartbreak and the great healing of true love! Enjoy this romantic story of two people broken by others but heal each other.

Brilliant addition to a great series. Can a series get any better when you hit book 10 well Jami Davenport has done just that, in my opinion this is the best book so far in the Game On in Seattle Series, I could not put Steph and Roderick’s story down and if you love Hockey and sports romance this is a must read. Jared Roderick has been through the ringer, he has seen the worst side of marriage when he finds out his ex wife basically married him for money and status. Stephanie Clarke was raised in strong church going family and in her teenage years she rebelled and fell in love with the worst person for her, he treated her so badly, he pimped her out as a lap dancer and he hurt her in the worst possible way with his fists. Can two people who should be scared off relationships for good make it work this time around, can they get over the fears of history repeating itself........ This author gave us two people who are kind and trusting yet broken from the past and she took us on their journey of learning to trust and love again. jami Davenport has fast become one of my go to authors and for me this is one of the best hockey series out there. Looking forward to more from the Seattle Sockeyes.

Loved it. 5 star Review Shutdown Player: Seattle Sockeyes Hockey (Game On In Seattle #10) by Jami Davenport This is book 10 in the series and another winner for Jami Davenport in my humble opinion. This is the story of Jared Roderick and Stephanie (Steph) Clarke. This book had me hooked from the very first page. I absolutely loved Jared and Steph, two people hurt by their pasts yet equally determined to move on. Whilst Jared is looking for love, Steph is bound and determined to ignore the sizzling chemistry between them. All Jared wants is to find a woman who is the total opposite of his cheating ex wife. In Steph he believes he has finally found her. Jared doesn’t count on the walls that Steph puts up to protect herself. It’s time for her to live the life she wants and deserves, away from her controlling father and her abusive ex boyfriend. From the start of Shutdown Player I wanted these two to get together and remain that way. Can they each work through the troubles of their pasts and in doing so find a love that is strong enough to survive? The chemistry between Jared and Steph is scorching and this was one of those books that I simply didn’t want to put down. I love that Ms.Davenport’s characters are not perfect, they are flawed and the situations they find themselves in are easy to relate too, her characters are strong and her stories well written. Although it is book 10 in the series, it can easily be read as a stand alone.
