ENTERTAINING. This storyline makes you wonder what really goes on within our government and how the different agencies compete for recognition, finances and power… On top of that, there’s the looming danger of nuclear war with North Korea and the power struggle between the hawks and the doves regarding military applications. (It’s a very timely storyline considering how generals must be obedient to their Commander in Chief and not thinking of themselves as “policy makers” on the world stage.) Overall, this is a good novel, although it does seem quirky at times. I found it to be entertaining and would recommend it to anyone with an interest in global politics.
Excellent read. Superbly crafted storyline with multiple interrelated, unexpected supporting mini-stories that keep you guessing. Well worth the time spent reading. Strongly recommended!

Most enjoyable. If you like techy books, this one is for you. A great story that unfolds through the hacking of high-level government data bases, creating a vulnerability in America’s defense systems. Shamed IT specialist, Frank, must stay under the radar as all evidence points to him as the hacker. Good character development and plot flow.
Well worth the read. I see that this has been out a few years but I throughly enjoyed it - a real page turner. I don’t usually bother to leave a review (sorry!) on books that I have read but this one was excellent. Highly recommend.
