Thing1law - Quick read
The book was a quick read and the romance begins quickly so that was nice. Hannah was a little annoying. I get that she has anxiety but she is a doctor so I am surprised she wasn’t seeing a therapist or trying to work through it some other way.
The ending is anti-climatic. There is usually a conflict between the main characters and then they end up happy in your typical romance novel but that does not happen here. This is a new series that is sort of a spin off from another series so there are more books out there if interested.
che-_16 - My review
It was a good book but kind of cliche and I was looking for a more intriguing plot but it’s a overall good book
neecee2hj - Charming Hannah
I didn’t enjoy this story. I thought there was going to be an exciting plot, but everything centered around Hannah’s anxiety. She was supposed to be a doctor, but didn’t treat her problem. Could have had excitement with her dad getting out of prison, but that ended up being nothing. Disappointed in the story
NewEarthorBust - 3 stars
Enjoyed the angle of the characters’ fears being healed through the power of love.
DG Whit - Charming Hannah
Jfrancie - Charming. Hannah
Loved this story. Flawed people who overcome their circumstances and found love.
NicoleAshton - Boring
I thought this book had a lot of potential at first, but the plot fell flat. There really wasn’t anything exciting, just two people going on about their normal lives. There was not true climax and at the end I just kept waiting for something to actually happen.
straighttalker198 - Not charmed
The opposite of charming 👎👎👎👎
KristiMP - Not my favorite, but Kristen Proby wrote it, so it still rocks
Hannah is my least favorite character of any of Kristen Proby’s books ever. Despite my annoyance with Hannah, the book is good. The romance and passion is there and I really enjoyed Brad Hull. Their story had some good humor too, which made it a little easier to ignore the annoying feeling I had of Hannah.
jessteale - The ending is awful 😩
The book is ok, Hannah gets on my nerves... and the ending is terrible!! This could have been a great start to a series but I’m mad that it ended so abruptly!! So frustrating!
Slawskib - Completely unbelievable
This is actually a pretty sweet little romance, EXCEPT that the author seems to have no grasp on anxiety or medical training. Hannah is a literal doctor and you’re telling me she wouldn’t be taking something to control her anxiety? That’s patently false and quite frankly it comes across as the author dismissing the validity of anxiety as a medical illness.
Lady kismet - Hannah is annoying
It was hard to get through this book. I found Hannah to be annoying and her character unbelievable.
Karen Jacquelyn - Intertwined Characters
I just love how the author intertwines the characters in the series. Can’t wait to see who is next to find love. Thank you for great reads!
Sandra Two Book Pushers - Amazing start to a new series!
Charming Hannah is the first book in the Big sky series. I have read every single one of Kristin’s books and have fell in love with each of them. They always put a smile on my face. If you read Saving Grace then you might remember Grace’s roommate Hannah. Well, this is her story...
Hannah is still the “new girl” in the small town of Cunningham Falls, Montana even after five years. In those years she has made friends and has brought many babies into the world. She is one of three OBGYNS in town. She loves her career and her patients. It’s her life. She is on call 24/7 but she wouldn’t change it for the world. The only thing that it has changed is her dating life. She doesn’t have one. Men she has dated in the past don’t understand that her patients are her priority. That her schedule will take time away from them. That was until Brad aka Office Sexypants asked her out. Finally.
Brad is the police chief of the small town. Her gets Hannah. He has to share his life with his community. He is always on call. He has liked Hannah since the moment he met her. They have been friendly over the years but nothing has happened. It’s time he did something about it. He wants to get to know her better. He knows the chemistry is there but he wants to feel more. He should have asked her out years ago but it wasn’t their time. It’s now. He hopes she feels the same way.
Brad and Hannah’s relationship is so much fun. That is when they get to see each other. They are both busy with work but they get it. They just get the importance of their passions. Not many in the town would be able to handle the time apart. It’s not that though. Their connection is beautiful, sexy, and sweet. They calm each other. She has her anxieties. He has his night terrors. I just love how they are together.
Can they work though? Can they truly handle the schedules of two very busy careers?
Overall...it’s an amazing start to a new series! It’s so Proby!! Fun, sexy, sweet. It was great catching up with characters from other books. I am looking forward to Jenna’s book.
“I’m beginning to think you’re just with me for my dog.”
“I can’t even.”
“Oh yes. You can.”
“You’re not so bad with words, you know.”
Tracey Finck - Charmed me!
One of Kristen Proby’s most incredible talents is to create characters and locations you absolutely fall in love with. Hannah, Brad, and the community of Cunningham Falls are no exception.
Hannah Malone, Cunningham Falls OB/GYN, lives in a world that is content and controlled. But she can’t help notice the small town’s chief of police, Brad Hull when they end up in an accident and exchange numbers.
Brad Hull had his eye on the intriguing doctor years ago but didn’t do his investigative work quite right; he thought she was taken. Not giving up on this second chance, he quickly insinuates his way into her hectic life with ease.
As you can imagine it does to people with professions of these kind, life throws daily stress their way. I was impressed how this couple grew from the trials of day-to-day when that kind of pressure can cause the demise on so many new relationships. And while tested, it’s the internal struggles they face that will be the greatest challenge.
This book is entirely standalone. Although I would be remiss in saying you really should read Josh, Ty and Zach when you get a chance to add to the richness of your Cunningham Falls experience. You’ll run into Grace and some new characters who you hope Ms. Proby intends on writing into future books.
tree7404 - Extremely charming
This was a absolutely charming book that I could not put down. Brad and Hannah are great together. Them trying to fit a relationship in with their crazy schedules. I loved the fact that Hannah had anxiety and dealt with it. The friendships that each of the characters had and relationship that brad had with his family was great. I cannot wait for the next book in this serious. Kristen Proby did not let me down with this book.
wandergirl - Emotional, sexy, romantic, and funny!
Received an ARC in return for an honest review.
Wow! I didn’t expect this book to be so emotional but as the story progresses I can’t help but be touched by the characters’ vulnerabilities and their struggles and determination to overcome adversities. It is very true what they say about not judging a book by its cover: Hannah, a confident obstetrician, is plagued by anxiety and fears. Brad, the tough police chief is also haunted by a traumatic event from childhood. Brad and Hannah help, support, and love each other through these obstacles and come out stronger and feeling more free.
I love this book so much! The characters and situations are so realistic and believable. The heartbreaking and poignant scenes were written so beautifully, you can feel all the emotions pouring out of these characters. The hospital scene particularly got to me. The romance and chemistry is still off the charts. Getting a glimpse of some of the earlier characters of the series was also a welcome bonus.
I can’t wait to be back in Cunningham Falls! Congrats Kristen for another winner!
Webbhf - Perfection
I absolutely loved this book! Brad was the perfect mix of alpha and sweet, and Hannah was so real and relatable. The story sucked me in and i didn’t want to leave. I also appreciated the lack of unnecessary drama. They faced real problems as a couple, and dealt with them like adults.

Great story, first time with this author. I can’t wait to read more of her work!
kitcat$345 - Charming Hannah
Excellent book. I loved your characters. The fact that Hannah suffered from Anxiety Disorder made the story even more interesting as it felt so real to me. Thank you.
FromDaRock - Amazing!
I laughed, I cried and I truly love it! Kristen never disappoints!!!
Bunbury Champ - What great reading
What great reading, two beautiful
People finding love and conquering fears
Nlw68 - Ok
I didn’t mind this book but I couldn’t cope with the main female character’s insecurities which is probably me being very harsh... but she was a little annoying at times
Ebook Indulgence - 4 stars
I was so excited to see that Kristen Proby was returning to Cunningham Falls .I’ve previously fallen in love with her writing style, the way in which she interweaves her characters, their families, friendships lives within a series so that their stories don’t really end when you finish that final page, but continue with each additional title. Although this is the first title in the Big Sky series, it’s really a continuation of the Love Under the Big Sky series, set in Montana.
Charming Hannah is a sweet, sexy story packed full of heat, heart and humour, and features OBGYN Hannah Malone, and Chief of Police Brad Hull. This pair are characters are relate-able, realistic and endearing. Their banter is fun and flirtatious, and I loved that we get updates on several favourites who have appeared in previous titles throughout the story line as well as a few new ones.
Brad and Hannah are both incredibly career orientated, the both work in fields that are physically and psychologically demanding. Brad was born and raised in Cunningham Falls, and I was won over by his compassionate, charming, and patient nature. He’s very unassuming, sexy, sweet, loyal and strong.
Hannah on the other hand is kind of quirky, and a tad neurotic and suffers from anxiety. A relatively new transplant to Cunningham Falls with a few personal issues, and being incredibly driven and focussed on her career she doesn’t make much time for socialising.
I really enjoyed the undeniable attraction and chemistry between this pair. They have a strong connection in that they have both been impacted by what they have seen and experienced with their role within the community.
I highly recommend not only this title, but the previous titles in the Love in the Big Sky series. IF you are looking for a quick and easy read full of love, laughter, and family, this is the series for you.
Jaxwright57 - What a great Start not a New Triolgy
4.5 Stars for Charming Hannah, the first in a new trilogy going back to the Big Sky Series, I’m sorry to say I haven’t read that series as yet but after reading this book I will certainly be looking to find the time to read that series.
Hannah Malone moved to Cunningham Falls five years ago but she is still considered a newbie by the locals but she loves her home , the one place she finally feels settled and safe. Newly appointed police officer Brad Hull has the responsibility of keeping Cunningham Falls safe for its residents but the beautiful, funny, sassy Hannah disrupts the order and his focus. The attraction is instant and the chemistry is undeniable but when Hannah’s past catches up with her will Brad be able to not only protect her but can he protect their hearts as well.......
I’m in love with Cunningham Falls and it’s residents and I can assure you that you will love this Start to a new book even if you haven’t read the series it’s a spin off from. The characters are sweet, funny and strong, this book is an easy read that I didn’t want to end or put down, looking forward to more from the residents of Cunningham Falls Montana.
