Cash Aiken has come to the ranch after encouragement from Travis when his mission as a bodyguard fails when he freezes and almost costs a huge country music artist her life. Now he needs to find a way to deal with his PTSD and rebuild his life. That is until he meets the new person on the ranch, Kate Montgomery (aka Kaycee Starr) the person he was to protect. Even with sparks flying between them he worries that someone will find out she is hiding out on the ranch to figure out where her life is taking her after she received the devastating news about her voice. This time can he protect her and show her that she has more to offer than just her voice and maybe build a life together or will he fail her and himself one last time??

Tessa’s best book yet!. Literally couldn’t put this book down! The characters grab you on page one and take you along for a touching and thrilling ride. My favorite of Tessa’s new series.

Emotional, Heartwarming, and Steamy Read. A Hero’s Haven: Resolution Ranch (Flint Hills Military Heroes Book 3) by Tessa Layne. This is Cash and Kate’s story. I fell in love with Cash and Kate’s characters. I loved how Cash and Kate interacted with each other. They both have issues that they haven’t dealt with and secrets so neither are looking for a relationship. But the chemistry and the attraction is so strong between them. Will they give in to this attraction and take a chance on love? This was a fun, emotional, heartwarming, and steamy read. This is another great addition to this series. FYI, contains mature content. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
