When Life Gives You Lululemons. Bland and boring! I was so excited to read this book since Devil Wears Prada was so good! I couldn’t wait to finish this! Not much of a story and had weak characters.

Another Genius Novel by Lauren. From the minute I picked the book up, I could not put it down. Relatable and super funny view on motherhood, life in the suburbs and of course Lululemons!!

Story is just as intriguing as it’s title. Such a fun read. Smart dialogue as usual from Lauren. Great storyline and the characters were human, funny, and interesting. Finished it in a day.

Fun, but predictable. I enjoyed the characters and the brand-dropping is always fun. However, I felt the overall plot and some of the tangent story lines very predictable. A fun summer beach read.

Lululemons!!!. I just started this book and it is amazing!! It is a little old for me, granted, I’m under 15, but whatever I still love it! I love the different points of view, the plot points you don’t expect, even if they are not heartfelt, but that’s what I love about it! Not everything is happy sunshine. I find a lot books you don’t see that in. Overall so far, fantastic book!! I highly recommend!!! 🥳🎉📖😊

Unexpectedly refreshing. Going into this my hopes were not high. This book have drama, fun, bougie and relatable. I loved it!! Furthermore the characters all brung something different to the story. So upset I finished it ... can’t wait to read about Emily as a mom and Karolina possible getting pregnant.

Funny and sweet. If you’re a fan of The Devil Wears Prada, you’ll enjoy this book. Funny and true to the original characters in her smash hit, the book was fun and easy to read.

Finally another great novel by Lauren W!. I have read every book since Prada and this was the first one where I felt intrigued, surprised and delighted by the escapism of her characters lives with enough of a plot to keep you captivated. GIVE IT A TRY! Great summer read I couldn’t put down!

When Life Gives You Lululemons is by Lauren Weisberger and is a follow up to The Devil Wears Prada and yes Miranda Priestly does make an appearance in this book. It can be read as a stand-alone but I think you would enjoy this book more if you had read The Devil Wears Prada. Emily Charlton is concerned as her image consultant business is taking hits from a new young competitor and while she is secure in her marriage having her husband in Hong Kong for several months is taking its toll. Karolina Hartwell has just had her entire life turned upside down and being arrested for a DUI she did not commit is just the tip of the iceberg. Miriam Kagan, Emily’s oldest friend has given up her high powered law career to be a stay at home parent in Greenwich and navigating this new world has her wondering about her choices. These three women come together to support each other in moments of crisis and joy and you will laugh and cry right along with them. I resented having to put this book down for those fun things like laundry, dishes and work, and think this is the book that should be at the top of your summer reading list. Dissapointed. Great title and that’s about it. Still got through it but didn’t like it.

Somewhat entertaining, but kind of bland. This book was ok. I read it quickly, but the characters lacked substance. It bugged me how much weight played into their happiness- even the girl who shouldn’t care, Miriam, does.
