Most Excellent Read!. Love the engaging writing style of Elizabeth Hunter. A must-read for the romantic in all of us ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This book is by EH?? Really?. First, I would like to add that I’ve been reading EH books for some time now. I’ve read the Irine Chronicles, all the Elemental books (yes, all of them) and I tried one Cambio Spring book(sorry I did not like it) and now, this new book that it seems it was the beginning of a new series. I did not like this story at all. It was so predictable. I have read stories like this one before. The ones where the heroine has low self esteem, falls for the bad boy, bad boy falls for the shy, low self esteem girl, blah,blah,blah....I did not recognized the author at all. My imagination did not run wild like her other stories do for me, the sex scenes where very unexpected. Like I said before, I’ve read most of her books and this is the first time she’s explore with this subject in more detail. Don’t get me wrong, I like the hot and passionate love scenes but it felt different for me. I can’t quite explain it, almost as this had been written by someone else, not your favorite author that you’ve come to know. I gave this book 3 stars because it lacks character depth, grammar error ( yes, there were 2. I counted) and ingenuity. I’ll, stick with her paranormal books.

Another amazing read from Elizabeth Hunter. I love this book! If you enjoy well written characters within a well written story then this is the book for you! I love all of Elizabeth’s books including Ink!

Sugar and Spice. Sugar and Spice. And everything nice…and a little not so nice is how I would describe this book and its characters. It’s a nice sweet story with a little bit of an edge to it. Just a little tiny bit. I guess this book would be considered a New Adult Contemporary Romance, which is not Elizabeth Hunter’s usual genre but she is such a great story teller the category doesn’t matter. I loved the theme of this book, set in a small town family owned bookstore…with a tattoo parlor inside??? Crazy idea you think? Well, I used to work in a family owned small town bookstore, and I think this would be a great business. I think it would really work! But aside from the cute business idea, the love story, the characters, and humor in this book is good and it’s a great cozy read but not at all corny. Did I mention the love story? Well, Emmie and Ox are the main characters and their story unfolds slowly but it’s also a nice slow burn. Such a good burn. The secondary characters are SUPER interesting and I cannot wait for the next book, Hooked, to come out. Bottom Line: It’s Elizabeth Hunter. Period. You cannot go wrong.
