Too much. Always enjoy Scalzi but this series is too much with the swearing and what goes with it.

Best of the series so far. If you like Scalzi- particularly if you like him lately, in Collapsing Empire form, then you will not be the least bit disappointed by Vol. 2 in the series. Where 1 brought us foul-mouthed delight Kiva Lagos, the unwilling Emperox Grayland II, geeky minor noble Marce Claremont and some fantastic villains, this addition brings more. More whisker twirling. More intrigue. More exploration of the fascinating universe. More SCIENCE and also some truly memorable scenes of human interaction. If you like funny, hard science with some interstellar imperial mysteries and conspiracies, you have your next read. 5/5.

Not quite long enough. A very quick read. Great, but moved fast enough to feel more like a novella.

Awesome series. I just finished the final book in this series. This series is awesome. John Scalzi really does a good job with all three books.

It’s very interesting and the end came very quickly. I started this because the first book was good enough that I wished to continue the series. Glad I did, I’ll be reading the next one post haste! The ending was very satisfying though might be a bit of “deus ex machina” there but nevertheless was very enjoyable. Looking forward to the next

GREAT. Really loved the progression from the first book. The characters feel fleshed out and real and it left me wanting more more more. John Scalzi has become one of my favourite writers and I can’t wait for what’s next.
