Can’t bring myself to read the next one. The plot is not good. The main female character is very inconsistent: she says she’s bad at her job and wants to quit but then when her brother suggests she’s bad at it, she gets mad and says it’s not true. There’s not much evidence that she’s good at it and I wish that wasn’t true. Also she and her friend have what feels like 100 conversations about how she’s not going to sleep with the prince that all very much sound the same and then she does. She’s annoying. That being said, the sex was pretty hot.

I Loved It!. Cheeky Royal was sweet and fun with a bit of steaminess thrown into it, all perfectly combined to make this book amazing. I loved Penny and Sebastian. Their personalities complemented each other and I felt that they were an excellent match. I can’t wait to read the next book, Cheeky King.

I want the next book NOW. Dang, Nana Malone knows how to leave a reader hanging. This book has so much love and lies and secrets and mystery. I can't even begin to tell you all about it. You just have to read this. Just know that this is a cliffhanger and you will be gaping like a fish out of water at the end and wanting the next book NOW.

Fantastically cheeky.. Absolutely & fantastically cheeky. Sebastian is not your typical proper royal, he wants to be free to do what he enjoys the must. After a mayor revelation and a broken heart he decides to leave the kingdom and disappears. Penny escaped the kingdom and her family once to go to school, but now she must resign herself to be part of her family legacy. She doesn't like her job and believes she is the worst guard, but when her world falls apart her king will give her the assignment that will save her and her prince. Guarding the prince without him knowing it is not the easiest task to accomplish and he will make the task very challenging. Our solitary prince will find in his artistic neighboor a distraction that he can't leave without helping her on her task not without testing her loyalties and her believes. Old friends form Blake security help make this story more special. An amazing story that combines the love for family, friends, and country with a deep passion for the one that makes it feel like home. Unexpected twists, revelations, and characters make Cheeky Royal a true gem.

Dumb. Too silly. Read one chapter - nonsense

Sweet and sexy. Oh God, I adored Cheeky Royal! I'm a big royal romance fan as it is, but Cheeky Royal exceeded my expectations. It's sweet, it's sexy, and it's got a twist that's not seen in royal romances much, if ever. Penny's family has been in the Royal Guard since the 1700s, so she's naturally part of the Royal Guard, too. The only problem? She's a tad clumsy and klutzy. There may have been a few um...instances, so now she's been relegated to being a glorified secretary in the Queen's offices. But, then King Cassius summons her and tells her she's to go undercover and become Prince Sebastian's Guard, as soon as her father locates him, that is. But, there's a catch, as her duty is to be two fold, she needs to get close enough to Sebastian to be able to convince him to come home. So Penny becomes Len and she meets Sebastian while he's disguised himself as a civilian so that he can find a certain someone. I don't want to spoil though, so I'll leave that person unnamed. There are cameos by my favorite security team (!!) and Len and her sidekick take on Prince Sebastian and the two fall in love. I was cheering these two on. They're so cute together, and their chemistry is smokin' hot. I'm TeamSebLen now and I can't wait for Cheeky King so I can get my royal fix. Read it! Read it now!. You know it’s a good book when before you even finish it you text your best friend to read it ASAP! I know a lot of people don’t like cliff-hangers or hate that they aren’t warned ahead of time but when you stay up wayyyyy toooo late reading, it’s so worth it! I enjoyed the little twists and definitely enjoyed the humor throughout the entire story.

Review: Royals Undercover 1: Cheeky Royal. Cheeky Royal by Nana Malone is the first book in her Royals Undercover duet. As I am eagerly awaiting the release of Return of the Prince, I thought I would go back to the beginning (from what I can tell) of these ROYAL stories and read Sebastian And Lucas' tales. I was not disappointed at all! Sebastian and Penny's story is off to a fabulous start. Hot and steamy, filled with subterfuge and a little bit of angst, even knowing the events from reading books further into this world I was enthralled with every page. Enjoy!

Engaging and entertaining!!. I’m stating this right from the get-go…..this story DOES end in a cliffy. So enter at your own risk! *smirk* Good golly miss molly….this was a great read! Engaging, entertaining, with a little bit of suspense and a whole lot of secrets and lies, you will not be able to put down this book! To be completely truthful, I was expecting just another typical royal romance…swoony prince, delightful commoner, and a sweet and lovable storyline. But those descriptions are just a small taste of what Cheeky Royalis really about! The story is profoundly unique and the relationship between Sebastian and Len/Penny is quite exceptional. Their dynamic together is a constant slow burn of emotions, acceptance, and obligations that leaves your head and heart in utter turmoil. You’re given exclusive access to both character POV’s, and you can’t help but feel embroiled with the ever-escalating circumstances and feelings that are developing. The intense passion and deep affection they share are beyond romantic and fiery. But they’re both withholding secrets from each other, and only one has the power to undoubtedly wreck their chances at love forever. The saying, ‘You can’t always get what you want’, is truly the epitome of what this book is about. Sebastian and Len are the first to know their places in each other’s lives. And what the heart wants isn’t always what the heart gets. I loved Cheeky Royal!! I can’t wait for Sebastian and Len’s story to continue in Cheeky King. If it’s anywhere close to how fascinating and entertaining this book was, then I know I’m going to love it just as much! 5 Stars!

Great read!. Lots of secrets are revealed a little too late.

Lies and Pretense. A totally delightful tale of royalty being protected by lies and undercover in a captivating way by the kooky palace guard of a female assigned to the prince to protect him. Really great reading!

Who knows what?. OMG!! This was so unexpected. I will be the first to admit that when I started reading this book, I did not think I would like it. I am not too big on kingdoms and such. That is what is so great about Nana’s books. She has the ability to pull in skeptics like me. Sebastian, Penny, Ariel and all the other characters grabbed me and would not let me go. I was thrown for some serious loops and unexpected surprises. I am in love and I cannot wait to see how this story ends. Don’t worry, there is still plenty steamy sexiness.

Really enjoyed this book!. I really enjoyed these two main characters Penny/Len and Sebastian. They have great chemistry together but Penny knows that they can't be together because of their different class statuses and she is there to do a job. I can't wait for the next book to see what happens next. I was hooked from start to finish with this one.

Great read. Sebastian is trying to get away from his royal life and Penny was sent to guard him. Only problem is she has Fallen in love with him and he with her... all is going well until the truth comes out. These two are perfect for each other And leaves readers yearning for them to have their HEA. Great, easy read that leads you through their journey of finding love.

Cheeky royals. Tired of “series” books when not disclosed in synopsis of book. Book drawn out so could sell the second to get to the ending.

I hate cliffhangers but I love this book!. Can I just say that I love when Nana brings me some Nana book nostalgia with familiar faces! Hey Blake Security. Anyway. I love this story. Gives me that movie The First Daughter vibes. I HATE CLIFFHANGERS. GRRR. I am desperate to find out how this one ends. As always it’s steamy and I love to watch the love story unfold. How can Penny and Sebastian make this work?

A Truly Fun And Enjoyable Read. OMG!! I truly loved Cheeky Royal!! It was a total 4 1/2 star read for me!! I'm serious...we need 1/2 star ratings!! Cheeky Royal was a fantastic read! There was not anything that I did not love about this book. Cheeky Royal is a fun and enjoyable read, not to mention absolutely hilarious. Penelope and Sebastian are the cutest duo ever. The thoughts that run through their minds, not only about each other, but about life in general will have you holding your stomach from laughing so hard. Not only did Nana Malone give us two great lead characters in Penelope and Sebastian in Cheeky Royal, but then she introduced us to the secondary characters, characters such as Ariel, who is Penelope's best friend. Let me tell you, everyone need a best friend like Ariel. I truly adored her. Cheeky Royal is truly a wonderfully written story about a girl who is entrusted with a mission to not only bring the Prince, yes, Sebastian is the Prince, back home, but to keep him safe while doing so, but who also just so happens to fall in love with said Prince. Oh, and did I mention that said girl is apart of the Royal Guard and that her mission was given to her directly by the King? And if that doesn't tempt you to read Cheeky Royal, did I mention that there maybe special appearances in this one by a group of very sexy alpha men that we were introduced to in another series? And if neither of those things did it, did I mention that Sebastian is really, really gorgeous and has a dirty mouth...and an accent? I cannot wait for the second book in Nana Malone's new Royals Undercover series to release. My mouth is still hanging open at the ending in Cheeky Royal!!

Cheeky Royal. I loved this book. Penny has been summoned to find Prince Sebastian and bring him home. He’s hiding as a commoner, I loved being on edge. Will he recognize her? She seems familiar but he doesn’t know why. It’s a fun read. Who will be first to admit who they are? I highly recommend this book and can’t wait to read the next one.

Amazing Read!!!. Omg!! Nana Malone’s Cheeky Royal is an amazing read!! I was hooked from the beginning and couldn’t put the book down. You will be laughing so hard and be on the edge of your seat wanting to know what happens next. Sebastian and Penny are amazing together! I love their chemistry and how hard they tried to fight there attraction. Their story has mystery, comedy and intense chemistry. I really enjoyed reading Cheeky Royal and I can’t wait to see what will happen next!! I voluntarily leave an honest review of this arc.

I completely loved getting absorbed into Sebastian @ Len’s story. just to give you a heads up, this read is a cliffhanger but one that will have you in anticipation to see how Sebastian & Len’s story grows. I enjoyed this read that was totally relatable & is from both characters POV. Be sure to read this awesome read!

Cheeky Royals—Er, royal pain. What a cheap trick! I hate cliffhanger endings that try to get you to read the next book. I won’t, because this one wasn’t very good—second half was just sex.

Royal Romance. I have been waiting for the Royals Undercover series from Nana Malone and I was not disappointed. In book 1, Cheeky Royal, we are introduced to Penelope Marsh and Sebastian Winston who are childhood friends and a member of the Royal Guard and Crown Prince of the Winston Isles respectively. We follow Sebastian and Penny as they try to figure out how to live their dreams and find love, without disappointing their parents. Will they be able to follow their dreams or go into the family business? I do believe this was the first book that Nana wrote in 1st person and I enjoyed it. I know you will too. I can’t wait for the release of Cheeky King to come out so I can find out if Penelope and Sebastian have a happy ending.

Wow!!. I received an arc for an honest review. I gave this book five stars because it was excellent. Penny and Sebastian were too cute together. I am still shocked at what her brother did to her. I can’t wait for the next book to come out. This book is a must read! Good job Nana!!

Unexpected cliffhanger. I was really liking this book and wondering how she was going to wrap it up, then BOOM it ended in a cliffhanger

Funny, adventurous and sexy.. Funny, adventurous and sexy. The book always has adventures but you can laugh at them too. There are soft sexual parts that are exciting but get sexier. The story ends abruptly and makes you want to buy the next book.

Cheeky indeed!!!. I received an ARC for a honest review. With that being said, I truly enjoyed the story of undercover Crown Prince Sebastian and Penelope. Sebastian is the heir to the throne of a Caribbean island nation. Penelope’s family comes from a long line of guards of the crown. Bring on the torrid affair!!!! Penny and Sebastian are both artists who want nothing to do with their “family business”. They just want to make beautiful art and live a normal life. However that does not come with out its share of problems and hiccups. Overall this is a great read and I can’t wait for Cheeky King to come out!!!
