Mend. By kivrin Wilson Trials and tribulations of a married couple a lot of angst before resolution! Didn’t get why we had to look back at when they met and what led up to them getting married it didn’t fit the start of the story! Good story once you got past the useless information! Bookbub

Mend. I really wanted to read this book and I was happy o read it but I would like more in depth knowledge about Paige and Logan’s relationship in the past. The flashbacks didn’t reveal anything about their relationship. It wasn’t clearly developed. I felt like throughout the book it was dancing around there relationship without going into it. Meaning, the author described the outside things like what the characters wore or what they did not what they developed . I would have liked to know more about their relationship and how it developed. The ending wasn’t clear either. It seems that Paige kept contradicting the relationship with Logan. The author briefly discusses Logan’s parents but she doesn’t explain it. Throughout the book Paige was considered independent. But she kept complaining about her relationship with Logan. She wanted him then she didn’t. For majority of the book, it was constant bickering and no coming together. The conflict was poorly developed. When there was a solution it wasn’t acted right. It’s like the author rushed through the ending and the solution. It was rushed and it was irritating and annoying. I was really excited to read the book and how Logan will mend his relationship but it was horrible. There were so many ideas that didn’t have solutions. Like Frey’s who blames Paige for the separation but it didn’t develop into anything. Like Paige knew she was upset but she didn’t explain anything to her children. Like they didn’t a knowledge anything. There was no chemistry between the main characters and I was really upset about it.

Mend. Overall I felt the idea and storyline was good! Characters and story pace was excellent, not too slow nor too fast. Well thought out events that weren’t cliche or very predictable What I didn’t like was that at the climax of the story, there wasn’t enough substance and the end was rushed. There wasn’t much to the resolution other than he quit his job. SMALL SPOILER ALERT! I felt Paige went back and forth between wanting to love him and leave him and that’s understandable then she basically forgives him. Idk if he really understood what she went through but I felt there could’ve been more written on how they continued to work through their problems after he quits his job. I felt their resolution was too simple for all the pain and anger portrayed throughout the story. And I feel there’s some things the author included that left questions unanswered. Like there was definitely some anger from Freya towards Paige but it was never discussed. How did Mike cope after the mom left ? How did the main character himself cope after the news about his mom seemed to affect him so much? How does Paige not question him more on the past ?

4.5 second chance stars!. Absolutely loved this book. I was hooked from the beginning and devoured it. Loved the story, the chemistry and how authentic these characters are. The feels! I highly recommend this book.

mend. Different in a good way. Very down to earth about how people really are like. Glad they found themselves. Great book. Will have to read more of your books. And I’ll check into your friends book.

An excellent read. Rarely have I been utterly engrossed in an all consuming way to want to know the end of a book before I have even begun to read it. Mia and Jay’s story from Bend was so brilliantly written that it was a no brainer that I would continue their story with Mend. However, Paige and Logan came alive and real to me in only a matter of paragraphs. Their characters had me going through a myriad of emotions but I never quite knew if they would make it. Both books are so brilliantly written...thank you.

10 stars. I came across this book by accident and am really happy I did. It had everything you want in a great romance. I will be looking for more from this author.❤️❤️❤️
