Couldn’t put it down. Fell in love with this love story

Unenjoyable Read. I read this based on the Reese book club recommendation. I found it a very dull read. The characters seemed confused. The storyline dragged on forever. I didn’t enjoy it at all. Would not recommend.

One of the most cheesy, worst books ive ever read.. Very cheesy. Very bad. The story took place between 23/22 year olds and I'm 25 so it's not like I'm far off the path of "understanding the book". Maybe a good read for a 12 year old. It's just a very juvenile story line with an occasional big word tossed in from Webster's.

Amazing. Loved this book, from beginning to end! Definitely a good read for any hopeless romantic, the ending was PERFECT!

Good!. So good! I feel like the ending was a little rushed tho. But I loved it.

Hard to root for the male love interest here. The object of the protagonist’s affection is so remarkably selfish and manipulative that I just couldn’t root for them to end up together. I ended up skimming the rest of the book once it became clear he was going to lead her on for years. But if you are looking for a tortured romance and you can get past the fact that he’s not really a nice guy, the author does a good job of creating this world. Fwiw (mild spoiler alert) I liked the guy the protagonist almost ends up with, before they make character changes to clear the way for the original Iove interest. If they adapt this for tv/movies, I hope they do something to make the male lead more likable.

It’s been a minute since I’ve felt butterflies. Love the establishment of relationships, that leads to really understanding each characters feelings. Loved that the narrative is from different perspectives. Wished there was more perspective of Sarah. But overall, super satisfied and a new Josie Silver fan.

Wow!. This book was absolutely amazing! I held my breath throughout the entire thing uncertain of how everything would turn out. Jack is just everything! Laurie is so sweet! And Sarah is someone you love. Great storytelling and a beautiful, sweet love story that you can’t put down.

Trite and annoying. Wow, warning if you listen to this on audiobook you may find yourself mocking the narrator(s)...although I finished it and there were times I was interested, this was a terrible book. Full of cliches, stereotypes and barf-inducing moments, some people may like that sort of heart warming thing. I however, do not, and it just wasn’t my bag, baby. Ugh.

Absolutely loved it. At first it was kind of hard to keep on reading but as I gave it another try, I couldn’t put it down. It follows ten years but it doesn’t feel rushed and gives good plots ro each of the characters. I wish that Jack would’ve gotten more “screen time” but it was perfect just like the ending.

One Dy In December. Nice modern love story. It would make a really good movie, up there with "When Harry Met Sally". I loved this book that spans 10 years of a romance-friendship-romance.

Wow.. I read a lot of books. Lots are sadly cliches, and at first I thought well I’ll give this a try it seems pretty much like the others. It was not in the least and I very much recommend anyone to give it a shot.

Crummy. This book is simply horrible, there is no character development, the plot is hard to follow because there is so much that is skipped over, and I just can’t connect to the characters; therefore, I cannot root for them. The main narrator’s love interest is so into himself I want to gag and I just don’t know what the narrator sees in him because we don’t really get to see their relationship develop. Kind of boring and a definite waste of money.

Just ijay. For me, it took a very long time to get to the part that gives you chills. Only happened in the last 40 pages or so for me. The rest of the story was just a bit dull and me hoping that any time they’d have some huge lovers quarrel or at least something.

Loved It. A very sweet story of love and friendship. The only thing it took too long to get to the end and then that’s it… but a very refreshing, romantic story
