Fabulous read. Dark and gritty, with all the feelings. I read it from page one to the very end and I'd read it all over again. Not for the faint of heart. There are some triggers in this book. I can't wait to read book 2 and 3

Sexy, kinky cowboys. I never thought that I would read the book about the cowboys and absolutely love it. Well, not until I find out Pam Godwin is writing the cowboy book. I knew I’m going to read it. But let me tell you these are not your regular cowboys, oh no. These are Pam Godwin cowboys, dark, sexy, dangerous, possessive and kinky!!! They are not for faint of heart. Main characters are Conor and Jake, but there are also Jarret (Jake’s brother) and Lorne (Conor’s brother). Four of them are childhood friends, growing up together. Jake and Conor are young and in love with each other. So this is their story. So Pam Godwin starts with tearing my heart into pieces right from beginning and from that point on it is impossible to put this book down. Something horrible happens right on beginning and tore these four friends apart. They end up going their own separate ways (kind off) in pain from everything they lived through. Torn apart and no way to get back together. I honestly didn’t know if it is even possible for them to go back to “normal”, to get over what happened, to continue with their lives. Conor was such a strong, smart girl. So in love with her man and loyal to her friend and her brother. I absolutely love her character. Jake made me upset few times through the book, but later on I understood what he was doing and why. He cared so much about Conor, everything he did was for her and I love him for that. I love this cowboy book by Pam Godwin ;) I am telling you, this women can make story out of anything and I won’t be able to put it down. Pam is magician with her words and all these incredible stories and plots that she comes up with. She always keeps me on the edge of my seat no matter what she writes. I am so ready for more cowboys. I want to see what she will do with Jarret and Lorne!!! I’m specially looking forward to Lorne’s story. Get your copy and enjoy this dark, sexy, kinky story.

Loved it!!. I loved this book

Just wow. What a wonderful story line! So many ups and down! I can’t wait to start reading the next one!!

Wished there was a warning. Very good book! A lot of talk about the sexual assault that Conner went through, I wish they would have warned the audience. The book is very emotionally charged but so worth reading! The characters are really developed and you feel like you’re walking in their shoes.

Intense!. Good book! Could of done without the last part though! Love the connection between the two characters.

Trauma/Rape Warning. Couldn’t get past the scene of her being raped in the first chapter.. actually didn’t even manage to finish that part, but it had me emotionally scarred for days trying to forget it. Never had a rape scene in a book affect me so negatively but I couldn’t handle it and wanted to warn others since I wasn’t.

OMG!!. I loved this book. It was so well written. I loved Connor character she was strong and beautiful inside out. I couldn’t put this book down!!! The story kept you in suspense. Can’t wait for the next book.

Knotted. Wow, was hard to decide if I liked or didn’t sometimes. Different story line, I didn’t like the fact that they took justice into their own hands, right or not. Good romance and sex scenes.

Must read. This was unexpected. I thought it would be the same storyline told by yet another author, like so many out there, but this was a complete surprise, beautifully written and an attention grabbing storyline. Thank you for a refreshing read!

Wow. This was not at all what I expected. The characters were really engaging and as the story moves through the timeline of their lives, you become more invested. I couldn’t put it down and can’t wait to read the rest of the stories in this series.

Triggering. This book is a tough read. If you have triggers, beware. It was graphic. However. Once Jake explains his plan, he helps her in so many ways.

Knotted. This story has crime, revenge, love, commitment, true feelings of whole families broken apart then coming back together for those that survive.

Yes!. I am super in to this story. It has betrayal, love, murder, friendship and lots and lots of steamy sex.

Great. This is an amazing story. I absolutely loved the storyline and I loved the characters. This author always has amazing storylines. The only thing lacking in my opinion is there isn’t enough depth to the story and to the characters to make me love the characters more. What I did read, I did love the characters but I just wanted more to them. More dialogue, more situations happening that would make me love them even more and really make me attached to them. That’s why I gave this a 4 star.

No trigger warning. There is NO trigger warning about rape in this book. And it’s very graphic.

Knotted. The title fits the book ok, I had an issue with accuracy of some of the material in the book. I understand it’s fiction but accuracy counts for a lot if you want me to believe what you write. The sexual assault needs to be written as I do not believe any women especially a teenager would be walking around 3 days after the type of assault that took place in this book. The PTSD part could have at least had a specialist involved come on the way Jake got her through the past was a little far fetched even for fiction. Overall a good story.

Not for the faint of heart!. This book begins in the worst possible way, if you can handle rape then don’t read! I couldn’t get through he first 6% of the book.....

Knotted by Pam Godwin. This stand-alone of three in the series is an easy read until it gets hard-core and messed up in the mind with a rape scene and the therapy that follows. It’s just not a normal thinkers’ story - unless you have an understanding of bondage and how it can be therapeutic in so many ways; but honestly, this story is a little disturbing in how easy the author tries to suffuse love, a third-party rape and bondage in order to make things (ahem!) right. Since I am one who can grasp the concept (and honestly like the bondage angle) of using any means toward therapy, I would have given more stars - if not for the point mentioned (again, easily trying to suffuse a narrative like it’s such a normal thing to consider), and, leaving one easily incorporated loose end left out in such a way that the reader tries to rewrite the final confrontation to neatly “tie-up” the loose end - be it: harsh and without familial love to help the culprit / a pop-in and pop-out to make nice / a secondary confrontation. The character I refer to was a big part of the story that was left to fizzle to nothingness. No matter what, the author does make it easy to read and strings the reader along well enough. And, the “playlist” was a nice addition; for one who loves the selections.

Page turner. Great book….love the storyline mixed in with the romance - makes you want to keep reading.

Hope. Although I cried a lot, overall I still enjoyed the book. I almost stop reading I was so upset but the pact between best friends gave hope for better days. The sex scenes were so so good.

Amazing.. Omg. This book is heart breakingly beautiful. I loved every minute. I don’t normally show emotions when reading and I read ALOT but I cried twice. Great great read!

Excellent!!. Absolutely loved this story of second chance love and tragedy. The characters are so well written and so unique. I love how well they all work together and the bond they share. I really like how much this story flows and keeps you wanting more. Definitely recommend.

So far, this book is my favorite of what I’ve read. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Brilliant read. This is book one in the Trails of Sin series. Jake and Jarret are twin brothers. Lorne is Conors brother. Both families grew up together and live on the same ranch. Jake and Conor love each other. One night in which they thought was going to be special for both of them turns into a nightmare which changes all their lives. That night a pact is made. Can they fulfil this pact years later when they meet up? This is a dark and gritty read. I can usually read a book in one sitting but the angst had be taking breathers for the sake of my kindle. This book has plenty of triggers so be warned. The only thing that annoyed me was Conor was a girl as my son is called Conor. A personal gripe but certainly not worth taking stars off. I’m so looking forward to reading more in this series.

couldn’t put it down!. I only downloaded this as it was free but what a surprise....i read it in 2 days and will now look for more books from this author

Second chance cowboy. Second chance and dark are two of my favourite genres together by one of my favourite authors. Jake and Conor’s story comes full circle because sometimes first love, true love, never dies, it’s heartbreaking but compelling. After one tragic fateful night that changed not only Jake and Conor’s lives, but their brother too. So when Conor left, not to return after years away, could the road to recovering her and Jake’s relationships be easy? When the truth of the secrets kept for years come out, will it free all the knots that are tied and that kept the pair apart? I loved every hard, soul searching words written, it was raw and honest and while it wasn’t easy at time’s, it was everything I love in a story. While I might not be the biggest Cowboy/Country fan this was one of my favourites. My god Pam Godwin smashed everything out the park.

Amazing story. This is an amazing book, when I first read that it was a cowboy book I must admit I thought it would be cheesy, however I should have known better given how dark and fabulous Pam Godwin is. This book has a fantastic story to it, took me a while to get into it, but then all of a sudden you are hooked. This has a great plot that unfolds throughout and had me crying in parts. I’m onto the next book now. Definitely recommend this book, wish I could give it 10 stars

Definitely a good read. An emotional roller coaster with plenty of twists and turns along the way. Again, not what I expected, in a good way. I agree with another reviewer, do not read if graphic rape scenes trigger anything. It is right at the beginning and forms the basis for the storyline between the two lead characters. The author has done a very good job with her plot lines. It kept me interested with the twists, and as always, $$$ rears its’ ugly head making people do awful things. I will look for further stories from this author, very well written, and not the usual...three 👍👍👍 from me, keep up the good work.

Fantastic. Unexpected, involving, couldn’t put it down. Best read in ages

Very emotional read. Definitely not what I expected, very graphic rape scenes ( don't read if it will upset you). Very descriptive emotions and characters, this story is set over nearly 10 years. The journey from the horrible 'incident' to healing is very powerful. It had me feeling every emotion through the story. The male lead character is written so well, I wanted him!

“Knotted” by Pam Godwin. Every time I pick up a book by Pam Godwin, I know I’m going to have a few amazing hours of great entertainment ahead of me. It’s a sure thing. Pam Godwin has the gift of description such that you FEEL each desperate emotion, see and believe everything, as if you are living in the book itself along with the characters. You have to read the book oh so slowly so that you can savour each page, each dark passage, to drag out the power behind her words. This is another fabulous, heart wrenching, uplifting and beautiful story. Conor’s trauma is all the more debilitating because of her isolation. Jake is impressive with his approach to Conor’s therapy. Thank GOD, there is a happy ending. They CERTAINLY deserved a happy ending after what they suffered.

Loved it!. What a great story! Had everything; good, bad, horrible, lust, love and hatred. This could be made into a movie with sequels or a tv series.

Dark and vengeful.. The character development for this dark emotional story is deep. Love the sweetness at the beginning that due to unforeseen circumstances result in the nastiest thing that can happen to a young girl while her boyfriend and her brother watches. The story is over a six year period where all the dangers and more bad stuff happens
