Pretty Boy meets Princess. Reckless is Tyler and Princess Calandra's story. I got such a kick out of Tyler in the book Scandalous. He's now famous due to the Paparazzi video taping him with actress Audrina when she was high as a kite. Tyler was forced to pretend rowing a boat to calm her down as he tried to get her safely to the car and away from the paps. That embarrassing moment caught on tape is the reason Princes Calandra choose Tyler to protect her from a stalker. The problem is she can't tell him the true reason for his protection but Tyler isn't fooled. He knows something more is going on. This was another great addition to the Team. I say that because with each book, the author brings back past heroes into the new stories. These men are all allies to each other. They are pure male, military trained and so Alpha that these men check off all the boxes. That does not mean you can't read any of these books as standalone. The author does a good job of not spoiling previous stories with each new book. If you want some alpha deliciousness, Sybil Bartel is the queen of writing these Alpha males.

Alpha Bodyguard series. Reckless is the 3rd book in this series & all three are really good. So far this one is my favorite

A tad sexist. Loved it! Great book, but it was clear Tyler had a somewhat sexist behaviour in some cases. Not too much to my liking but it’s tolerable since it wasn’t excessive in the narrative.

Recommended. This is Tyler’s book at long last. He has been one of my favorites since we first met him in the Uncompromising Series. He gets a new assignment when a princess asks for him by name. Calandra needs a bodyguard, but she is not very forthcoming about the reason she needs someone to attend a couple of events with her. Tyler and André (Tyler’s boss) both know she isn’t telling them the truth, but Tyler has an instant attraction to her and takes the assignment anyway. This story is pretty much insta-love, but I don’t mind that. I really enjoyed their story, it has all the action and suspense I’m used to from this author with cameos from some of our past favorites. Overall a very good read.

Still good. Not nearly as good as the rest of the series but still a decent read.

Good choice of title. This book was hard to put down. The characters were very vivid and their relationship was written so that it was very believable . I have enjoyed several of Ms Bartel’s books including this one and eagerly look forward to reading more of her books. Thank you Ms Bartel.

Sexy and action packed. This book was full of action and romance with a beautiful story that unfolds at the end. A couple twists and turns made this the perfect mix of raw desire and excitement.

Luna and associates. Damien and Calandra’s story was a very easy read. The other characters who are ex defence force play a part in the storyline which is good because you get to know a bit more about them, whets the appetite for their stories which unfold in the series.

Enjoyed the book. I love this author and this series. I love the crassness of the language, it feels real and relatable. The scenes are well written and it is hard to put down the book! Plenty of zing and enough action. Some criticisms: the editing needs another go-over, minor issues, but enough to grind my gears. I also found some of the language used by the female lead felt incredulous, given that she grew up primarily non-English speaking (‘case the windows’ I think was what really stood out, it just didn’t feel right), which I noticed as I moved further into the book. I also felt that she’d think a little bit more in Greek - a bit like Luna and his Spanish. Even with these complaints it was still a great read and I am hooked on the series.

Reckless ❤️💕. What a wonderful story. I love this author and her series of all her books which I mostly have. Can't wait for the next series as well as Sawyers story. 😘😀❤️💕
