The Shadow Priest. Excellent reading, strong storyline and wonderful characters that you learn to love and pull for. There’s something here for men and women both as long as you enjoy mystery, government intrigue, a small amount of love line and plenty of action! Can’t wait to read the next installment.

Exceptional. I was not familiar with the author when I decided to read The Shadow Priest. It is a really good read. Hard to put down.

The Shadow Priest—Outstanding!. Such a great book I could not stop reading it. Characters so well drawn you feel you know them. Well thought out plot with just enough drama and great action. Tom Cruise ruined the Jack Reacher movie; please don’t let him get this one!

Good Read. Good story but it is a continuation story which I do not like.

The Shadow Priest. I have read this book and it was ok. I tried to buy the second book but gave up after an hour of trying. Someone needs to fix this. You are not going to sell any books the way it’s working.

Very educational read. This book, in my opinion, expresses the quintessence of good writing; Mind opening facts, lingo etc, educative vocabulary, and a very interesting and air-tight plot.

Snore. Plot was vacant and ongoing banter between Morrison and Arkin became tedious. Not sure I can take another book about these two.

Thriller. In the league of Tom Clancy and Robert Ludlum. Great vacation read. Highly recommend!

The Shadow Priest. Highly recommend the book. I did not want it to end so I will read the next in this series. I live in the Southwest, spent time in the military in the Northwest, and was in DC for a family member in the USMC. This book touched on all those areas.

The Shadow Priest. Loved the shadow Priest. It grabbed me from page one & never let go. I like a little good guy beats bad guys and a nice love story. Even better was the intensity of the next move and never being able to predict the outcome. Outstanding read for man or woman.

The Shadow Priest. The only reasons I did n’t givr this book 5 stars was that I ln a perfect book the wife with cancer wouldn’t have dived; no in a romance novel she wouldn’t ha e. It this wasn’t a romance, so I guess I really just didn’t like the fact that he didn’t get to go to her funeral; although it made perfect sense that he didn’t. I also did ‘t like the fact that the book did ,t really finish thr story to my satisfaction.

Can’t stop turning the pages. The Shadow Priest is a page turner! D.C. Alexander knows his material and provides an accurate, detailed story with adventure that moves so fast you can’t put the book down.

The Shadow Priest. Not fair! Everything in my life came to a halt because I couldn’t put this book down. It is truly outstanding. Phenomenal research must have been necessary. Of course I must have the next book.

Frustrating. Good character development and a good storyline, but no real conclusion to the mystery b/c you’ve got to purchase the next book in the series, which is frustrating.

Couldn’t put it down. Well written fast paced thriller, intricate plot with just the right amount of detail and depth. Dark at times but with humour throughout. I was stuck in hospital when I saw this and downloaded it from the App Store, so glad I did.

I can’t wait to read the follow up!. This is a truly gripping read. Once I started, I didn’t want to stop. The author does a wonderful job of painting his characters with words and really brings them to life. I feel that I really know Arkin and Morrison and I’m absolutely rooting for them to succeed.

Shadow Priest - Book 1. Book started slow for me. I actually put it down just after starting to read it because it didn’t grab me to hold on and read until the end. So I left the book and came back to it. As I continued to read I became engaged and connected to the main characters. From there it was hard to put down until it was finished. When I went looking for the 2nd book in the series, and realized it was not yet published, I registered for email updates from the author so that I can get the next one as soon as it comes out.

Great book!. Lost sleep because of it but couldn’t put it down!

Fast paste and intriguing !. A book that is hard to put down, conspiracies within high ranking government officers always willing to pass the buck (blame) to their subordinates. Except they chose the wrong man who won’t accept his fate!
