Chapter 2. “Wait that doesn’t make sense.” Rainkit cut in. “His games never make sense!” Longkit said. “Yeah I agree with Longkit.” Firkit said. “C’mon guys, it makes complete sense!” Blackkit said his eyes flashing with unhappiness. Firkit glared at his brother angrily, Longkit scowled, and Rainkit snorted and stomped away. “No one wants to play your games.” Spiderkit snapped. “Your games are always sucky or don’t make any sense or our parents don’t want us playing them when we already don’t want to play them!” “Exactly.” Firkit sighed. Blackkit lowered his head and turned away, his tail flicking in anger. “I only ever want to play a game that isn’t a game that has been in the Clan for generation after generation after generation.” Firkit stared at his brother. “Then maybe you should leave the making up of new games to future generations,” he said. “Then you’ll be satisfied.” Blackkit looked back at him in aggravation, his dark blue gaze hiding something more than he was letting on. Firkit ran across moor, his paws barely skimming the grass. ‘I don’t know the moor,’ he thought. ‘So why do I feel like I’ve lived on it my whole life?’ He looked down at his paws but not by his own will. They were a dark gray, lightly speckled with yellow. ‘I’m not me.’ He noticed. ‘I’m living the life of a cat from the past or of present or of future.’ The cat’s name became known to him suddenly. Lightspots. The she-cat gracefully maneuvered around a large clump of heather excitement pulsing never-endlessly in her paws. The she-cat slowed at the WindClan border, the border that led out of Clan territory. She looked back over her shoulder, her ears pricked and her mouth parted slightly before crossing and racing for...an abandoned twoleg nest. She slowed to a halt as it came into sight, nearly jerking Firkit awake. “Who’s there?” She called. Cats suddenly leapt from the bushes, piling on top of Lightfeather and muffling her screams. “Fircone!” She screeched. “Fircone where are you!” Firkit was jerked awake as the she-cat’s throat was ripped out and stared blankly at the nursery wall. ‘Who else has Fir in their name in the Clans?’ He thought carefully but no one came to mind. It’s a beautiful area with flowers and herbs growing in a patch. They have a spiders nest for cobwebs and a soothing waterfall. Their dens are hallowed out caves, the nests covered in fluffy moss with flowers and feathers and sheep’s wool. They eat mainly birds and fish and the leader, deputy, medicine cat, queens nursing or expecting, wear weaved flower crowns made out buttercup tulips and vines around their left or right ear. They are friendly and lazy and don’t get involved in battles . When their are tresspasers on their land they ask them to leave, if they don’t listen 3 times, according to the Midnightclan way, claws will be unsheathed. They are big as the sisters and their ancestors are related to the sisters.

Amazing 🤩. So I only just finished #4 of this series, and this is amazing. SPOILERS FOR THIS BOOK THROUGH #4 🚨 Shadowsight is a great canon character and has a lot going for him. His frenemy type thing with the impostor would be endlessly heartwarming to me if it wasn’t that Ashfur literally uses him. Rootspring is an amazing choice for a protagonist in this book. His connection with ghosts and the ‘real’ Bramblestar is just overall pretty cool. And on the topic of cool, the Sisters bring a lot down on the Clans, and helping Rootspring is amazing. Anyway enough talk about Rootspring, let’s talk about Bristlefrost. Bristlefrost is determined, courageous, and NOT one of my favorite characters. However, she does bring it quite close! Her relationship with Rootspring is great, however it is sad they can’t be together. Her kind nature brings her a lot of smiley faces. Though she can be stubborn at times, her quick wits could save any cat. Sorry for the long review, I just wanted to express my feelings towards these amazing characters. Have a fun time reading! 😉

A short chapter for Mouse <3. Mouse yawned and stretched, feeling the luxurious pull of his muscles under his sun-warmed pelt. Careful not to wake his sister, Dawn, who was still curled up in their nest, Mouse slipped out of the den and padded to the riverbank. The copse where they lived was calm, peaceful and quiet. The river carved out a little notch in the land where the copse was, and the water was cold and clear. Stepping stones dotted the river that could be used for crossing, but Dawn preferred to swim instead. Mouse didn't hate the water — how could he? It saved his life — but he didn't like being wet, or swimming. He would do anything to avoid getting into the water, while Dawn would take anything as an excuse to get her fur wet. Mouse purred to himself and crouched down to take a drink. Dawn was his little sister. Always sassy and self-assured, ever since she could run around and talk. When they were kits, Dawn used to get really sick every few days, but none of the medicine cats could figure out why. It always affected her breathing and her appetite, but it never lasted for longer than a day. Mouse frowned as he stood up, shaking water from his whiskers, and looked back towards the trees. Why was Dawn always getting sick? She seemed healthy every other time, and she bounced right back like she was never weak and nest-ridden in the first place. Mouse sighed and padded back to their den. Dawn was just weird like that, he figured. And nothing really harmful ever happened to her, except for the rare seizures she sometimes had. Mouse crawled back into the nest and wrapped his body around Dawn. She groggily lifted her tan and cream face and looked at him blearily. " Mouse?" She murmured. " Hmm?" " Let's go hunting. I'm starving." She closed her eyes again while Mouse purred. " You want to hunt?" He asked incredulously. " You're half asleep!" " I'm not, Mouse . . . I'm wide awake . . ." Mouse shook his head in amusement. " I don't think you are. But if you're sure," he stood up and nudged Dawn to her paws. " We can go hunting." Dawn purred as she stretched out her hind paws and yawned widely, her teeth glinting in the half-light. With a brisk shake, the tan and cream she-cat padded off resolutely into the trees. Mouse followed her, taken off guard by her speed. " Where are we hunting?" Mouse called to his sister's bobbing tail, which whisked around a holly bush. He picked up his pace and realised that she was heading to a different part of their territory. " I found a good place for fishing." Dawn meowed, stopping to let Mouse catch up. " There's a ton of large trout and salmon in the stronger currents." Mouse's fur prickled in alarm. " Stronger currents?" He asked. " But that's —" " Don't say they're dangerous." Dawn hissed. " They're only dangerous if a cat can't swim. And I can swim." Mouse winced at the thinly-veiled burn but let it slide. After all. Dawn was good at swimming, and she had a lot of experience. I love it! Nothing beats Warriors!. Ok, so I have four Warriors series: The Prophecy Begins, The New Prophecy, Power of Three, and I’m on the first book of Omen of the Stars. I don’t have this book, or any of the other books in this series, so I probably shouldn’t be giving a review, but I LOVE—I repeat, LOVE—the Warriors series, each and every book. I’m the biggest diehard fan of all the diehard fans of Warriors (ok maybe not the biggest diehard fan, lol), so I know I’ll love this series just as much as I love all the other series. Better than A Vision of Shadows. I really like this new warriors arc way better than the last one. The last one was so boring and bland, but the new ones are really good!!! I hope to see more of these good quality books!!!

RiverClan needs some spotlight time!. Before I got the book and I’d just read the sample, I saw Shadowpaw and Rootpaw and thought “Darn it, no girls.” Then I buy it and see Bristlepaw and I’m like, “YAS!” Shame she’s ANOTHER ThunderClan though. They’re okay, don’t get me wrong, but ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! EVERY SINGLE SOLITARY series so far has had an oh-so-glorious ThunderClan swoop in and save the entire forest -cough cough- Twigbranch -cough cough- and steal all the credit, adding one more incredible achievement to the Clan’s ever-growing wall of honors. Can’t RIVERCLAN get some glory? NONE of the main characters in the entire series have been from RiverClan. Just because oh-so-special Firestar happened to join that particular Clan, it gets everything. Shall I make a list? - ThunderClan’s leader leads LionClan to victory. - Firestar kills Scourge. - Brambleclaw and ThunderClan pretty much lead the Great Journey. - ThunderClan’s medicine cat discovers the Moonpool. - ThunderClan has the only three cats in it the forest that will SAVE THE WORLD WITH THEIR AMAZING POWERS THAT EVEN STARCLAN BOW TO. - THUNDERCLAN is miraculously the ONLY CLAN that doesn’t get attacked and wiped out by Darktail AND they EVER SO MERCIFULLY grant everyone else shelter without running out of prey in the middle of leafbare. They’re just too great to be harsh on, apparently. - Then ThunderClan finds and leads SkyClan back to the Clans. - And now, yet another glorified ThunderClan cat is coming to grace us all. Missing Characters in TC (ThunderClan) and a Theory. Ok there are about two missing characters. I only have the sample of this book ,but ye there are missing characters. So, going back to the second litter of Cloudtail and Brightheart, one of their kits are missing it’s Ambermoon, then it’s the first litter of Lilyheart, her kit Larksong is missing, and then Millie is missing I’m fine with that bc Millie is a selfish she-cat and an abuser so her kit Blossomfall, but then I have a theory about Sparkpelt’s kits Finchkit and Flamekit, Larksong is most likely the mate to Sparkpelt and the father to Finchkit and Flamekit bc, the two kits pelts kinda resembles Sparkpelt and Larksong. P.S. I’m A Tid Bit Happy About Leafpool’s Death Bc She Caused Relationship Problems Between Bramblestar and Squirrelflight. P.S.S. I think grey wing should pop up in this series. Grey wing is the main reason why the clans in the warriors universe exist, if not for him there would not be wind clan or thunder clan and the other clans he taught the characters who would found the clans so really he should be nicknamed “the first warrior”

Great book!!!. Lost stars is a great book and broken code is quickly becoming my favourite arc of them all!! It just has stuff going on and I like how they tackled something different. Not just a obviously evil cat that tried to kill everyone. It’s different and I love warriors and this book so good! Different writer?. I love warrior cat books and I loved reading this new book. But something about the writing was different.. the structure, style and descriptions seemed to focus on different elements of the story and I found I felt less connection to the characters. Still loved it!
