Anything written by Ilona Andrews. Started reading this Husband/Wife team from the 1st book. Have loved every written word and am always watching for new or upcoming books.

The wedding. A cute story with Nevada’s younger sister, the siren, leading the charge. Overall I liked the story and was sad to see it end so soon. The family dynamics and attempted murder kept me engaged. The story had more of a YA vibe than what is normal from the Author Lords team. Looking forward to more from this series! The narrator did a good job!

Growth. You have an excellent story about families and not so good members of families. Nevada’s sisters are planning the wedding and solving mysteries! Catalina is learning how to use her magic and uncovers some twists to the story but not good for Rogan’s side of the family. Follow the action as secrets get uncovered and past people get caught. Growth for her and realization that she is supported by her family and Rogan’s important family members. I recommend this book and look forward to reading more about the Baylor family and Rogan’s family.

Good story: Not romance. A well written mystery/urban fantasy. I enjoyed it. However, if you are expecting romance because this is listed in the paranormal romance category, you will be disappointed. There is none.

Fantastic Bridge. Catalina’s introduction story worked so well as a bridge between Nevada’s and her own. We were introduced to the characters, Nevada and Connors story arc was closed off with an official happy ending, and all of the favourite background characters were in attendence. I really enjoyed the introduction of Runa, and will probably be found quoting her for a few days to come.

Diamond Fire. It’s a good book and a great start for Catalina’s story.

My favourite so far. I love all Ilona Andrews books but sometimes wish there was less violence and tension. This story was the perfect balance
