Fun read. I enjoyed this story and its characters. I’m not sure if I’ve read this author before but I liked her style of writing. The first chapter draws you in and as you continue reading you easily become invested in the characters. Even though this is a stand alone story I plan to read the rest of the series.

Heat of the night. I am not sure why this book was rated 4-star. I absolutely loved this book. Maybe people think anxiety re: dangerous careers or situations aren’t real to them? Many individuals experience life altering anxieties, and there is nothing weak or wrong with them. The fear is real and paramount for those who suffer. Authors of even romance novels can sometimes bring those anxieties out as a topic. Some may say that Selena’s anxieties are over the top and the author developed a weak character.....if you are looking for a book without any substance, this may not be your book a choice. Yes, while real life often does not turn out this way, there are still individuals in this world who believe in honor, respect and caring about the mother or father of their child. Even if something doesn’t work out, too bad more individuals don’t take the time to put children first beyond their own selfishness. Amy Krupp is an excellent author. Thanks for addressing so many many issues in one book.

Heat of the Night. Heartwarming and beautiful. Didn’t like Selena’s kind of self centered way of dealing with worry about a loved one at first but understanding how she got to that point helped.

Fantastic. I loved the story and the characters. The story was fun and sad, but the happy ending was excellent.

Great &quick read. Not bad at all, loved the story line as well as the plot! However, Selena was a little to much for me. I felt like I read the same feelings over and over again. She was full of fear, which I understand but it wasn’t giving anything to the story hearing it multiple times. Beautiful story though!

In the Heat of the Night. Wow what a great story. A book with character that keep your interest. I could not put it down. So much going on with the 2 main characters. The Emotions, the determination, fear, pain, Love, was so good. Thank you.

Patience was a Virtue with the Characters!. Lots of hard ache, disappointment but joy too. There were highs and lows in the story. Patience was a virtue with the characters. All things work out with a happy ending. Definitely a page turner. It needs to be added to your must read list.

Annoying. I think this book could have been a lot better had their been a heroine that was more realistic than spoiled. Had a one night stand, got pregnant, and when the man actually steps up to the plate she flakes at every opportunity. I started to skip chapters just because I hate to not finish reading a book.
