One of my Favorite Sci Fi Series of All Time. Uncluttered sci fi with bursts of smooth and witty prose. The authors, James S. A. Corey, deliver consistently again with another clean stretch on the Expanse series.

Best one yet. The authors out did themselves this time.

Powerful as ever. The protagonists continue to have room to grow, learn, lose, laugh, and love. Waited a long time for this next chapter, and worth every minute of anticipation.

Another Great Story in the Expanse. Is the second to last main-line Expanse Novel by “James S. A. Corey” that tells a story set in the Laconian Empire. It is the eighth novel in the Expanse Series. The Laconian Empire has taken control of most of the major worlds beyond the ring gates. They hold James Holden prisoner on their home world. However, they are spread thin, and a resistance has arisen. Bobby, Alex, and Naomi have become leaders of this underground. Can this rag-tag band of outlaws face down the military might of the Laconian Dictatorship? This novel is a refreshing story, which details new settings, and introduces new characters. It’s action packed and sometimes has periods of nail-biting suspense. I’m sad that I only have one novella and one novel left to read…

Great read for all Expanse lovers. Best read yet. Can’t wait till the book.

Don’t start until you can stay up all night to finish it!. I’ve been eagerly awaiting this 8th book in the series. The characters feel like family, and I’ve been worried about them after the way the last book finished. The change in release dates from December to this March felt like an eternity. I won’t spoil anything, cause if you considering reading book 8 that’d just be mean. Finished this in 4 days, couldn’t put it down and it kept me up to 2 am reading. Careful when you turn the first page- you’ll be useless for a couple days!
