OMG. Honestly I wasn’t to sure at the beginning, however I got so wrapped up I finished it in a day, and as a mom and wife, that’s saying A lot🤣!! It’s an amazing story and one that has many truths in it that are heart wrenching! Definitely a great HEA and I can wait to read the others💕

Loved This Story!. Sky’s a successful television reporter who never wanted to get into a relationship due to her abusive past. Colton is a professional football player who doesn’t give up easily. Colton and Sky were great together — I was rooting for them from the first chapter to the last, and I couldn’t put it down! I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Colton. Wanted the story line to improve but it just didn’t.

Colton. A fun read yet had a dark element that made the story very emotional. Both characters Colton and Skylar were developed well and the author made you fall in love with them both. A beautiful love story.

Swoon worthy. I fell in love with Colton and Skylar. Even though he grew up with money, and a football star, he was down to earth with a big heart. I love how he was so patient with Skylar and her tendencies to run. ❤️❤️ this book

Love, love, love this book!. Colton is a fabulous hero and Sky is strong and feisty — both deserve their second chance at a love that was lost years ago. I read Wild Man first, and love both books so much. Highly recommend.

Mostly just sex. Even though the story has a plot, most of the pages are filled with possible lust, and sex. Would like more of the plot.

4 1/2 stars. I found this touching. Also, the subject of recovering from childhood abuse was interesting to me. It gave me some insight.

Just don't. Reading the description one would think this book had potential. Nope. Only reason why I finished was the tiny thread of hope it might get better. Childhood trauma was way overdone on both parts to the point that you think to yourself... Enough already! Free smut book, expectations are low however they weren't low enough.

Great story, great characters!. For a quick read look elsewhere, but if your in for a romantic read,then this is it!

Woah is me much?!?. I couldn’t get into or finish this book after multiple attempts. There was a lot of potential, seeing how the plot is great, but the main character makes me question how the hell she got on in life before running into Colton again. I’m not sure what bothers me more... The idea that a man swoops in and “saves” the barely functional woman, or her choice to be a victim rather than a survivor. The fact that I’ve read 80% of this story and can’t remember the character’s name, nor have it in me to power through to the end speaks volumes.

Annoyed. This book annoys me. Skylar really annoys me. Halfway through and I’m tired of her h*ll Colton should be too. Ugh.....I’m just going to find another book to read.

Hot. This is a great read had trouble putting it down. I’m ready to read the rest of the books in this series. Not my normal type of read but a great great love story that has you wanting more.

Soft and sensitive. Well done. It’s really rare to have a heroine who so clearly struggles with significant anxiety and post traumatic stress AND a hero who lets her set the pace, doesn’t try to fix her damage or push her too far too fast. It makes for a wholesome and believable story. Colton and Skyler’s relationship has heat and romance, of course, but mostly it’s just two people who have been fond of each other for a long time and get a second chance. Some of the story may be triggering to those with histories of parental/partner abuse and/or alcohol abuse experiences. Clear verbal consent throughout.

Nice charming read. Loved the story line

Colton. It was an interesting book. The storyline was good but a little bare on the details at times. The characters themselves were good which is one of the reasons I gave it four stars. The story itself could have been written a bit better.

AMAZING. I loved this book finished it in two days. It sucked me right in. One of the best books I’ve ever read some parts not so appropriate lol. but otherwise amazing I would suggest to anyone who’s into a romance novel/comedy ig💕💕💕💕

Loved the story. I love the books where soulmates reunite years later. These are my favorite. I do hate how sky panics on every move, but it ends nicely. They would’ve had more fun if she just gave in from the get go.

A treat. I really enjoyed this book and the fact that the angst wasn’t down to typical romcom scenarios but instead explored the psychological damage caused by toxic relationships. As a reader with a panic disorder, I really appreciated having a lead character living with ongoing anxiety attacks and praise the authors realistic portrayal of just how intense they can be even when they seem so irrational. Ultimately this is the kind of book someone can read and believe in.

Great Read. Areally fast paced read that shows vulnerability in its main characters and how they manage to overcome their issues. Very enlightening.

Skylar and Colton. I loved the story. It had some tough moments for both the hero and the heroine, and potential triggers for the readers, but otherwise it’s a sweet second chance romance. This is definitely a multiple read type of book for me and I can’t wait to read about the cousins and the best friend!
