A solid, gripping, and thoroughly enjoyable series. The Companion Series is extremely well-written and full of (mostly) likable characters and adventure. The work appears to have been well-researched with precise descriptions and accurate (or at least plausible) details for varied events from horse races to battle scenes to lavish parties. The history and traditions of the fictional land are described in engrossing manner that makes the reader want to learn more, and the arcing love story is complex and beautiful, never crossing the line into cheesiness. One of the greatest strengths in my opinion was the dialogue; the interactions between characters feel authentic and are incredibly entertaining, whether the exchange is sarcastic, funny, tense, loving, or anything else. I’m so glad I stumbled upon this series and I truly cannot wait to read more from this very talented writer.

Fun read. Loved the characters and the story. Fast paced and fun. Was sad for the three to end! Can’t wait for the next one at the end of 2018. My only issues with the book: 1. Names were to hard! But by the third book I had finally figured them out. 2. While spinning a story, the author wood forget major details like who and what. Kind of choppy. I had to reread a lot of sections trying to figured out what had happened. All in all I did not care. The story was to good. The female lead so strong. And the male a good man.

Best serious I have lead in a very long time!. These are my new favorite books!! I could not put these books down! The author does an amazing job creating characters that you completely fall in love with. Each character has depth and humor and you truly find yourself on the edge of your seat each turn of the page. I loved them!

A Good Read. Enough intrigue to keep one reading. Although a bit “corny” at times, the plot works well and brings reader to a more than satisfactory ending. It is most definitely one of those “feel good reads” without being boring.

Each book keeps you hooked!. Every book is great, you can really imagine yourself in that era. I recommend reading this series!

A must read!. I don’t know where to begin! This is a must read! I have no words on The journey this series Took me on except to say, you have to experience this amazing journey with Aldara and Prince Tyron. I am so sad it’s over but can’t wait to read the rest of the characters stories. Tanya Bird, you are my new favourite author!!
