Meh could’ve been a lot shorter. I found myself skimming over a lot of the story. Decent storyline but it was really dull for me.

Love!. Wish the ending was further extended upon. Feel like right after everything finally came together, the book was over. But good read and I recommend!

Sweet and Steamy!!. Georgie Castle is the youngest out of the Castle Siblings and instead of going into home renovation, she decided to be a children's party entertainer, making children laugh and smile. Travis Ford, Georgies older brothers best friend from child hood, has been gone for years pursuing his baseball career until he has a major injury causing him to retire his glove. Travis comes back to town to wallow in self pity for the loss of his dream and Georgie is determined to not let him sulk. Georgie has had a long term crush in Travis since they were kids but he will never get past her "little sister" status. Georgie is tired of always being treated like a child in her family so she is determined to step out and show the world how much of a woman she can be. Starting with her look. She gets her hair done, and gets a whole new wardrobe. Trading up from all the second hand clothes she usually buys. When Travis see's Georgie's new look he is taken back at how grown up she looks. One thing leads to another, and they end up coming up with a fake relationship to help Travis's career, and to help Georgie show her family she is not a little girl anymore. They may be in a fake relationship but are the feelings fake as well? I devoured this book in one sitting! I think any women can relate to Georgie at least some point in their life. Georgie has such an innocence about her and how she views the world you can't help but root for her! This book has the perfect amount of sweetness, sass, and steam!! This book had me swooning and is going on my list of favorites so far this year!

Worth it. Ignore the cover and read it.

One of my favorites. This book caught my attention immediately and didn’t let go until the last page. I did feel like the ending was somewhat abrupt but I’ve read the other two books in this series and was glad to be able to hear a bit more about their story. This was my favorite book of the series as well. Highly recommend.

Great banter!. Fix Her Up was a highly entertaining story and great start to a new standalone series. Georgie made this book for me. She's so quirky and fun. I can't tell you how many times she had me giggling. Despite not liking how everyone treats her like a child she didn't really care what people thought of her. She does want to be taken seriously but still be herself. I really liked that about her. Travis was a bitter and angry man after getting injured and losing his professional baseball career. He needed a kick in the pants and Georgie intends to deliver. She's been in love with him since she was a child and he treats her just like everyone else but as she challenges his new attitude, he's starting to see her in a new light. I really enjoyed the banter between these two. He's angry and rude and she responds in a way that is defrosting his heart until he's no longer angry. They were just a fun couple to read about. The only thing that I didn't enjoy about this book was the way Travis insisted he would never do commitment. I'm just not a fan of commitment phobe men, however, it didn't keep me from appreciating their journey to a happily ever after.

What you want is no more or less important than what anyone else wants.. Such a great read! Travis is down on his luck after an injury. Add that to his man hooch reputation, and he’s practically shunned from the sport he considers his life, professional baseball. He’s grumpy. He’s depressed, and he’s pretty much a sloppy hermit. Georgie is just his best friends little sister, who has had a crush on Travis since she was a pre-teen. Travis has never taken her seriously though. I mean, she is a professional clown now, but that’s beside the point. Georgie is the one who kicks Travis into gear. She believes in him! Although reluctantly, under Georgie’s supportive attention, he blossoms like the prettiest flower. Add in; a fake relationship, unexpectedly real feelings, hot naughty bits, a fire place renovation, meddling side characters that you can’t help but love (Hi. I mean Bethany!), and you have Fix Her Up! It admittedly took me a few chapters to really get invested in Fix Her Up by Tessa Bailey, but once I did I was full on in love. This story is sweet, steamy, funny, and has a heartfelt message weaved into the rest.

I haven’t read in years... I read this book in a solid 3 days. I could not put it down!!!! I cannot wait to read the sequel!

Adorable, witty & sexy. 4 Grand Slam stars!!I love Tessa Bailey's style! This story is equal parts adorable, sexy, sweet, witty and steamy. It was a pleasure to read! I love the fake relationship trope and this is honestly such a good one! I just adore Georgie! She is funny, sweet and so innocent when it comes to relationships, but she has had it bad for Travis since she was a young girl. She is self supporting and driven and has a fun and quirky career that she is trying to turn into an entire business. She has not been very well supported by her family though. Travis is a former baseball star/player and may not my favorite person at first, but he goes a long way to redeem himself and make me love him, thanks to Georgie! He, unlike her family, really sees her, even if it took a little bit. How could he not fall in love with her? Georgie and Travis are such a great couple and are simply magical together! Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this ARC.

Amazing. Great book. Read it in a day

An amazing read!. He’s a grouch, for understandable reasons. She’s loved him for as long as she can remember. Add some top tier spice and you’ve got a lovely, funny, steamy love story. I love flawed characters that love each other for who they are. That try to make each other better. He’s got just the right amount of I won’t smile for anyone but my woman.. that this author does so well. Read it in a few hours and loved every bit of it. Definitely the kind of book you’ll end up reading again.

Would recommend. I really enjoyed this book! I read it in a day. But I gotta be honest the clown thing was hard to take seriously lol but at the end of the day it was good. I do wish the ending gave a little more though.

Home Run! (pun intended). How does Tessa Bailey write the funniest female characters who are so relatable and pair them with their perfect grumpy soulmate? I may never know, but I love every second of it! Georgie’s personality and wit leapt from the pages and contrasted perfectly with Travis’ prickly exterior. Fake relationship done so, so right. Chock full of family drama, amazing banter, and steamy scenes with some great dirty talk. A happily ever after ending that was so romantic, it left me smiling for days! This was a home run! (pun intended).

Breath of fresh air. Finally! I took a chance n paid more than ever before and I’m so pleased. No stupid misunderstandings that lead to repetitive cheaters that cause you to skip half the book. The s$x scenes were originally written just a breath of fresh air.

Review. Read well but ended a little quick

Romance with a spark. I really enjoyed this whole book. I was gripped from start to finish. I don’t normally read romance novels but this one took my eye and I couldn’t look away. There is this honesty about how the author describes her characters and guides them through their journeys.

This book was sweet, funny, very steamy and heartbreaking. I can't wait to read the next book in the series hoping there is some insight into how Georgie and Travis’ relationship progressed.

Could not put down!. I read this book for 7 hours straight!! I loved every second of it. Totally invested.

Easy read that keeps you tantalized.. Finished in a day, didn’t want to put it down knowing that there was another hot steamy scene on its way.

A cute, solid read. Listen, all you have to say is 1) Tessa Bailey; 2) fake dating, and; 3) best friend's little sister, and I'm there. This was a cute read with some good emotional depth - Travis is a former MLB All Star whose career was cut short due to injury, and he has daddy issues, while Georgie is the youngest sibling in a family that won't take her seriously - and a fun cast of supporting characters. We were introduced to the couple in the sequel here and I can taste the delicious angst already. Sidenote - I'm super here for the recent illustrated cover trend that's been taking over romance of late.

MUST READ!. I absolutely loved this story!! My heart endured so many feels. I fell in love with all the characters, especially Georgie and Travis. Sad for it to end but I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. Tessa Bailey, you are my new favourite author! A must read

Spicy. Cute but very spicy! The story is well written and the characters are full and dynamic. I found the romance to be a little stretched out and slow though. I also wasn’t crazy for Travis and Georgie’s dynamic. But that’s more a me problem. Overall it was a good read!
