Fun read. This was a fun little space opera. Great use of creating language unique to a new universe.

Ghost Rocks!. Will Calder, pilot testing a FTL Drive, is irretrievably stranded when it malfunctions. Waiting for death, he’s completely flabbergasted when he’s rescued an alien pirates. Thus begins Wil’s story, gaining his ship, finding a crew, and fighting a battle for freedom against the establishment! Go, Wil!

Adventures of Wil Calder. I really enjoyed this book. I t is just the right balance of action, humor and character interaction. I didn’t want to put it down. Reminds me of Guardians of the Galaxy type action !

AN EXTREMELY ENTERTAINING STORY. This adventure held my attention ! The characters and their actions are believable and entertaining. The plot twists are well thought out and interesting. I have already purchased the second book and look forward to the read!

Space rogues book 1. It was fun reading as the characters developed and evolved. The ending was a little too abrupt, but it was a fun and funny trip.

Fun and Fast Paced. I enjoyed the story. It was fast paced and it kept the reader interested. The author simply told a story. His introduction of each character and their sudden melding into a crew added to the overall adventure. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Fun Space Fantasy. A fun read

Space rogues. Initially I questioned the writing, but as I got into the book it became a thoroughly exciting and fun story. It was hard to put down and the characters and story was engaging. Well worth the read.

Absolutely wonderful. Being an alien myself, I absolutely loved the story. Much better than all the others I found about humans going out and beyond! Can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

Very good! Buying the next one now!. I like to find new authors by poking through the free sci-fi search. When this popped up it sounded interesting. I wish I knew a better way to find this series sooner! To me it’s a bit of Guardians of the Galaxy mixed with a little Star Wars with sprinklings of the best parts of other major sci-fi. Not saying that to take anything away from this author, it’s completely original and good!

Love good space operas. Especially those that consist of a complete story and doesn’t require three or more others to enjoy. As the sole human in a galaxy of “aliens”, as if he wasn’t the only real alien, he’s kidnapped, orphaned, outlawed and honored - all in one story. Now Gabe, he’s going to be a bot to keep an eye on as well. Keep’m coming John.

Space opera. Excellent fun and very easy to read. Well worth the time. I have been a SyFy fan for over 55 years and this book proves that there is more well written stories to come.

Space Rogues. A good versus evil storyline with good winning. The good characters are not perfect, but decent beings. Characters developed along with the story. Disappointed that the book ends. A mixture of believable science fiction and pop culture. What happens when plans are made and then life occurs. I recommend this to anyone.

Great Space Opera. I throughly enjoyed this starter of the series and will be pursuing the other books in the series. Good set up of the universe this takes place in with enough explanation on how a human can be accepted amongst aliens, communicate and succeed in galaxy in turmoil. Wil is a reminiscent of other galactic anti-hero’s that appear in various space sagas I have read. The motley crew of aliens comes together as a like able group that you want to succeed. Good pace, fast and fun read!

Unreadable. If you are a 8 th grade ,lower third of the class and have a brain disorder,you might think this book is well written

Great story line.. Easy, fast paced read. Very enjoyable.

Great story, terrific characters, suspenseful plot. “Having decided that standing on the bridge offers very little value, Gabe has spent much of his time in engineering, figuring that this will be a better use of not just his time but capabilities. The days spent in FTL en route to the Harrith system have afforded Gabe time to get to know the crew, as well as the systems of the Ghost.”

Space Rogues. I stumbled on this book accidentally while at sea, and was completely enthralled by it. Reference to Science fiction pop culture, specifically Firefly, hooked me. Anyone that gets Firefly knows good sci-fi. The book was fast paced and exciting with hero characters that jump right into your heart. I can’t wait to read more.

Heroic Misfit Crew. That’s enough on the plot to let you know that I enjoyed this story. There were some leaps and some odd places where the story repeated verbatim which made me wonder if I’d already read that page but I hadn’t. It was enjoyable though and a good way to pass the afternoon.

Fun, fast read.. The characters are interesting and the plot moves a long fast.

Wowser. I just recently started reading si fi again. This tale is an interesting look at the first earthling in space. From unable to return home to a privateer fighting oppression the story keeps you engrossed. Got to find book 2.

Enjoyable space opera. Well written, lots of action. Well defined and self-consistent universe, which I have always considered essential for science fiction. Good characterization, and each character is unique, which is not easy. Not particularly believable but a believable space opera might be a contridiction in terms.

Great Read.. A good sci fi is hard to find

Unexpectedly good. I stumbled across this one and was soon fully engaged. Humorous and a great storyline. Would also be appreciated by fans of Hal Spacejock. Definitely worth reading and I’m moving on to the rest of the series.

Slow start but a banging finish. I found the start of the novel a little slow and clunky. But once the necessary world building and background is established it becomes a rip snorting adventure!

The Ghost. I only downloaded this as an afterthought. It looked interesting , so I figure why not? Long story short, is , I loved the nonstop action and character development. Give it a read, I’m sure you won’t regret it. Warren

Good read. I found it slow a little at first but after the second chapter was very good, quit funny as well. Can’t wait to read the second one
