Baby daddy. I will admit I have enjoyed this series so far but I feel it doesn't have as much angst and adventure as the Cold Fury series has. Until now. I'm having a difficult time categorizing this book. Most would say it's Enemies-to-Lovers, but it's also single-dad/nanny, kinda. Pepper is not the nanny, but she is the person Legend depends on when it comes to his new daughter. We knew after reading Erik that these two would be explosive once they got over their "hatred", but the minute Legend finds a bundle of joy on his doorstep all is forgotten and forgiven. Yes there is mention of their disagreements in the past, but it's as if it was never a problem, yet we know it was a major problem for him. I truly enjoyed catching up, however briefly, with Erik and Blue and Bishop and Brooke and seeing their relationships progress. I can't wait to see more of each of these couples in future books.

Legend. Oh my. I just loved Legend and Pepper’s story. From enemies to lovers, Pepper and Legend sure know how to heat up the pages. Legend takes his surprise in stride and Pepper goes along for the ride. I was on the edge of my seat, for sure, at the end. You’ll not want to miss a moment of the Arizona Vengeance guys. 5 stars!!!

Want more!. Saywer continues to find a way to keep this series fresh and unique with each book. I was up well beyond midnight reading and honestly would of stayed up later if I did not have somewhere to be in the morning. Dialogue is so important for me, I always want to read stories with characters that say things that make sense and flow with the storyline. Which is what you get here. Excited for more!

Loved this book!. Legend by Sawyer Bennett is hands down one of the best books I have read. I couldn’t put it down. It was wonderful to read a surprise baby book where the dad steps up and becomes a fully invested dad from the get go. Scared out of his mind for sure but totally takes his responsibility seriously and falls head over heels for his child. Now those of you who have been reading along in Sawyer’s new hockey series already know about Legends interesting relationship with his neighbor Pepper. It’s pretty darn funny. If you haven’t read any of the previous books, no worries! You’ll get the idea fairly quickly when you start Legend. Pepper and Legend are perfect! For all their differences they are made for each other. So what you’ll find in this book is hockey, yep obviously right. Some teammates we’ve met before. We get some more insight into some players who we are getting books from soon. Oh Tacker I am dying for your book. We get some intrigue and suspense. Get ready folks, things get a little tense when a certain baby mama shows up....definitely drama ensues. And some major steamy encounters. Oh boy the chemistry between Pepper and Legend is off the charts. One click this amazing book, you will not be disappointed!

Legend. In the Cold Fury books Max was my favorite person. In this series I’m pretty sure Legend is my favorite here.

Great hockey romance!. I continue to love Ms. Bennett's hockey romances! Legend and Pepper's enemies to lovers romance was a great read. I swooned over Legend as he took his role as a father in stride and was so protective of his baby girl. I loved how Pepper just stepped in and helped him when he needed it. These two were a great couple. I loved getting the crossover scene with some Cold Fury characters. It was a great way to connect the two series! There is insight as to what is coming for the next couple of books and I thought it was set up very well. Can't wait to continue on with this series!

Score One To My Heart!. What a charming, warm, sexy gem of a story that was filled with love and romance that delivered from the first page to the last. But the added excitement of suspense and danger took this story and adds so much more that I couldn’t put it down. One of the Best books I’ve read in a while. Definitely my favorite of this series. Legend Bay is having the time of his life. The Arizona Vengeance is the hottest new team and he according to the sports media, is the hottest goalie, player ever. But when he returns from the gym, to find a pink bundle of joy on his door step. The first person he runs to for help is his hot as hell neighbor Pepper. As Pepper picks up and cradles this small baby girl in her arms, they see a note. A note that changes Legend’s whole world. He’s a Father! I Loved Legend and Pepper’s Story! Pepper Nantais has had a crush on Legend since he moved into the neighborhood. So she has been antagonizing him, because he always took everything to seriously. She doesn’t think that he would ever be interested in someone like her. But now he needs her help with interviewing and hiring a nanny and getting everything that he needs for a baby. He also needs to know how to take care of a baby and Pepper gladly helps Legend with everything. But as these two former enemies spend more time together as well as with Charlotte Elise Bay, “Charlie” the baby, respect, friendship and strong feelings start to grow. But this story is not all moonlight and roses, as the mother of the baby soon regrets her decision and her actions. Now she wants more than to see her baby she wants Legend as well and Pepper is in her way. What happens? Quite a bit. And you don’t want to miss it. The suspense had me on the edge of my seat and biting my nails. Sawyer Bennett’s strength is in creating character who live, breathe and jump off the page at you. Original heartwarming stories full of sexual tension and emotional decisions will lead you to wanting to read her stories again and again. LOVED IT ! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

5 Stars!. Another 5 star hockey read from Sawyer Bennett. Was anxiously awaiting Legend and Pepper’s story and it was worth the wait. A great storyline and characters make for a fantastic read. No one writes steamy sports romance like Sawyer Bennett!

Best Vengeance yet. Legend is absolutely my fave Vengeance book so far. Babies and artsy types and enemies to lovers are all awesome! Buy this one today!!

Wonderful Story & Narration🎧 Heartfelt & Moving!. Legend: An Arizona Vengeance Novel By: Sawyer Bennett Narrated by: Joe Arden, Andi Arndt Sawyer Bennett pens another amazing “Arizona Vengeance” novel and I loved every word of it. She has a wonderful writing style, creates storylines that are interesting, likable, easy to relate to and captivating from start to end. I also adore the characters she creates, they are complex and well developed, there is so much more to each one of the hot hockey players on the team and it is great finding out more about them. This is book is Legend’s story, he is a goalie for the team and an all around likable guy. He and his neighbor Pepper are at odds because of her flamboyant decor she places around her home, some she does just to taunt him. Pepper is an author who works from home, she likes to make her yard bright and cheery for inspirational purposes, add bonus is it bothers her grumpy neighbor, Legend. Just before Christmas Legend arrives home to find an unexpected package waiting for him, he is shocked and runs to Pepper’s house for assistance. I thought it was great how she helped him with everything, the two were great together and for each other. There is never a dull moment in this book, there is plenty of drama, angst, some action packed thrilling & suspenseful moments that brought me to the edge of my seat and a buildup to a wonderful romance. Sawyer Bennett, thank you for another awesome story and emotional rollercoaster ride. I listened to the audio edition, Joe Arden and Andi Arndt are fantastic narrators and voice artists. They bring these characters to life, giving each their own unique voice and personality. They do a great job projecting the emotions of the characters and the drama of the story into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and always a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another wonderful listen🎧

Legend. I enjoyed reading this book never a full moment and I recommend it.

Swoon!. Another wonderful story in this series about this new Arizona Vengeance hockey team. Despite their ongoing neighbor fued of sorts, turns out Legend Bay & Pepper Nantais are absolutely perfect for each other. All it took was a little Charlie. Their love may have been easy, but their journey was definitely not but yet so incredibly worth it! I laughed, I cried, I screamed and I swooned! Perfect! There is so much more than a love story going on in this book that will certainly take your emotions on a ride and won’t necessarily end when this book does, but I love that about this series. It definitely helps keep you invested in all the players. The writing is great! The characters are lovable and amazing! It’s always fun to check in with the other guys on the team too! I loved it!

Baby Mine 🎀🍼. I've been waiting for Legend and Pepper's story since the sparks started to fly between these two neighbors and the plastic flamingos graced the driveway! I knew this enemies to lovers story was going to pack a punch, but I didn't expect it to pull on my heartstrings as much as it did. Legend can be read as a standalone, but it would be best enjoyed in order since many characters (including the hero and heroine) appear in the previous books. I'm not usually a big fan of the surprise/secret baby trope, but seeing Legend as a dad really made it work. He often was so serious in the prior books, that seeing him gush and fawn over his little girl, Charlie, really changed my view on him. I loved that he faced fatherhood head on and embraced this new and unexpected twist in his life. Legend and Pepper were such a great couple too! They always had fantastic chemistry, so it was no surprise that things took off when these two started to spend real time together. Their personalities definitely complemented the other and even though things progressed rapidly, it felt organic given their history and current situation. I will admit that at first I was worried that Legend was using Pepper as a crutch, but time and time again he squashed those concerns by being open and honest with Pepper about his feelings and concerns. It's always refreshing when characters don't make drama for the sake of drama and actually talk and work things out as adults. Don't worry though drama lovers! There is plenty of drama to go around in Legend, from issues with the baby mama to teammates in crisis and coping with their own grief and loss. This was a really entertaining read and I love how Sawyer Bennett continues to plant the seeds for Dax and Tacker's stories. I'm positive that Tacker's story is going to rip my heart out. I can't wait ;) *I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book*

Perfectly Perfect. Upon returning home from a late night of hockey, Legend is immediately bombarded with what looks like National Lampoons Christmas Vacation decorations. While Legend thinks his next door neighbor is extremely “hot”, he can’t stand her yard trash. He’s exasperated, but can’t turn her into the HOA because he lost a bet-no complaining. So he parks his car for the evening, but sees something on his porch. As he approaches and looks under the blankets, he realizes someone’s left a crying baby on his porch. Not knowing what to do or even how to hold an infant, he backs away and runs to Pepper. Pepper, the whimsical artistic one in her family, is constantly leaving “surprises” for Legend-just to irritate him. When he knocks on her door, she assumes it’s to complain about her yard decorations. Then he drags her over to his house, to the crying baby. Pepper immediately picks the little girl up while Legend calls the police. They find a note in the infant seat claiming it's Legend’s baby. Until paternity is determined, the infant is taken to a foster home. I know I said this on the last Arizona Vengeance novel, but I think this novel was the best one yet! Sawyer Bennett is a genius in weaving a believable storyline with characters who you normally wouldn’t think mesh, but are so right for each other in every way! Pepper is carefree, bright, and colorful. Legend is focused, strict, and “bland”. It’s amazing how much more “alive, colorful” Legend’s life becomes with Charlie and Pepper. Although this novel is the third in the series and can be read as a stand-alone, I recommend reading them in order so you get the “whole” picture. You also don’t necessarily have to be a huge hockey fan in order to read this novel. While Legend is a highly successful NHL player, it’s not the focus of the story. I loved Pepper and Legend’s friendship. They are hilarious together and so complimentary to each other. A perfect match! The suspense and baby mama drama had me on the edge of my seat! Throw in an adorable baby girl....all the feels! I highly recommend this novel. I received a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

Loved it!. Legend is the one I hold close to my heart. Who would of thought a single fun loving guy would be such a wonderful dad. We met Legend and Pepper in the previous books in this series. Pepper is Legend’s annoying neighbor. Legend becomes an instant dad and Pepper comes to his rescue. This is a heartwarming story with some suspense thrown in, a terrific story. Review copy was received for a honest opinion.

Such a Great Series!. 4.5☆ The storyline of Legend was surprising, not at all how I thought it was going to go. Even though I wasn't expecting it, it was really enjoyable. The surprise is really cute and makes Legend an even better guy. He has a big heart and just accepts the surprise and strives to be the best that he can be. I loved being in his head and getting his thoughts on the situation and seeing how much love he has to give. He's a great guy and very loving and protective. Pepper is entertaining and unique which made her interesting. I think she's a good fit for Legend and I liked how she was always there to help and give him advice and comfort. There were also surprises with other characters that make me even more intrigued, and let's face it, impatient, for their books. This series has been wonderful so far and I can't wait for more!

Surprise. It’s smoking hot.. I have adored every book of Sawyer Bennett’s! Seriously loved Legend. Loved how out the gate, it started with a bang. No slow build. No slow burn. Legend has been so annoyed with his neighbor Pepper. When he finds a special delivery on his porch, he panics and enlists Pepper’s help. This book has sweetness, enemies to lover, neighbor drama and surprise single dad status. And some suspense! I highly recommend. PS: I want tracker and Dax’s story, like now!

Great Read. This is the 3rd book in the Arizona Vengeance series, however, I think that this book can comfortably be read on a stand alone basis. I’ve been really looking forward to Legend and Pepper and I have to say I was not disappointed. It was a really addictive read and one that I absolutely devuoured. It flowed really well and I felt that the story was really well developed. There was drama and a little angst but there was plenty of light relief and boy the chemistry between Legend and Pepper was electric which led to some pretty steamy sexy times. Overall this was a really enjoyable read and one I would be happy to recommend. I was provided with a copy of this book from the Publisher via NetGalley; there was no inducement or obligation and I opted to leave a review.

This series just keeps getting better and better. I’m loving this series following the newly franchised hockey team Arizona Vengeance, and after reading book 2, Erik, I knew I was going to be in for a few surprises with Pepper and Legend. From their first meeting their relationship was tumultuous, a little bit of hate from Legend, and a little bit of love from Pepper. Legend has never hidden his disdain over Pepper’s flamboyant yard decor, even going as far as complaining to the home owners association, but when Legend gets a surprise package on his doorstep, Pepper turns out to be one person he can count on to help him. Wonderful writing (dual POV), a lovely story, featuring some emotional scenes dealing with some very real issues. Admittedly this story features a very extreme case, leaving me, the reader, gripping the edge of my seat, I think I nearly broke my kindle during a few scenes. Not too much hockey, but definitely lots of hot hockey players, past and future, and of course a few steamy scenes in the mix. I can’t wait to see what Sawyer gives us next. Told from dual first person points of view (Legend and Pepper) LEGEND follows in the wake of a surprise ‘gift’ on Legend’s front porch. Struggling with the logistics, the responsibility, and the unpreparedness of the situation, Legend arrives at his neighbor’s front door desperate for help and immediate support. Enter colorful and feisty Pepper Nantais, and the woman with whom Legend will fall in love. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Pepper and Legend, and the potential fall-out as Pepper is targeted by a woman from Legend’s past. We are introduced to Legend’s parents Wendy and Nathan Bay; Pepper’s parents Richard and Meryl Nantais; Legend’s former girlfriend Lida Martin; Lucy and Charlie. The world building continues to focus on the players, the game, the camaraderie and the relationships of the Arizona Vengeance. The premise is entertaining, emotional and uplifting; the romance is passionate and seductive; the characters are energetic, strong and sassy. LEGEND is a spicy, spirited and heart warming addition to Bennett’s ARIZONA VENGEANCE.

Legend. I want 4.5 stars. The short length and no epilogue takes abit away for me. Having said that the book is spectacular in story and is filled with suspense and a great depth for reading considering its shorter length. I loved Legend. While Pepper took me awhile to warm up to it may or may not be corny at how fast they connected but a book is to enjoy and this one does entertain. Our favourite boys are back. It also has quite the eye opener for Tack, still suffering from his girlfriends death the year before. Lida was crazy and added the unknown to the book. Do love the series just wish for longer or some epilogue although I know some dont use them as they wind all the characters through all the books...so maybe in the end we will get a good big wrap up!

Vengeance Hockey. Steam, suspense , comrades, and cute packages on door steps !!!

Exciting. Legend is the hottest goalie in the league right now and he is loving all the media attention that goes along with it. Returning home from his daily workout at the arena he is blinded by Peppers Christmas decorations on her house and has about had enough and is ready to confront her, again, about her over the top and annoying ways until something on his doorstep catches his eye. When Legend finds a baby girl on his front porch he freaks out and runs over to Pepper's house to seek her help. When Pepper steps in full force to help Legend care for little Charlie he begins to see that her quirky behaviour is actually one of the things that he enjoys about her and starts to see Pepper in a new light. Again, Sawyer Bennett does not disappoint in the hockey romance category. Legend and Pepper's enemy-to-lovers story was fun and exciting right from the beginning. Throw in a baby and a crazy ex-girlfriend and you have a fun and suspenseful novel. This book is highly recommended as are all of Sawyer Bennett's hockey romances as they never disappoint. Legend is the third book in the Arizona Vengeance series by Sawyer Bennett which can be read as a standalone or as part of the Arizona Vengeance series and is written in Legend and Pepper’s point of view. I recommend this novel and give Legend 5 stars.
