Monday Night Guy by Liz Lovelock Book Summary

I swore I'd never have the hots for another jerky jock again, and yet, here we are…

The only way I can crush it my second year of college is to avoid any potential heartbreakers, but when I meet Parker Kent, my self restraint meets its match.

The basketball team captain is at the top of the popularity chain. With all that charm and smoking hot tattooed body, he could have any girl he wants…and yet he keeps showing up at my Monday shift, almost as if intentionally trying to get my attention off of school work and onto him.

He plays like it's my wit that's won him over, but that doesn't seem to warrant his persistence. What exactly is he after? I mean, if the rumors are to be believed, his skills can't be beat. Not on the courts…or off. But is a night of passion worth the inevitable heartache?

If you like sweet new adult contemporary sports romance with snappy dialogue, delicious characters, and swoon-worthy moments, then Monday Night Guy is for you! Scroll up and one click to see if Parker can show Addison that not all college relationships end up out of bounds.

Loved ❤️. College Romance... ...sweet and enduring, along with some having heavy issues.. This story can be at any college campus.. ...the story is well written, and keeps you reading! Love her brother, he is pip! ..excited to see more to come!

Good read. If you’re looking for a easy, light hearted and cute read, this is it. Monday Night Guy is a college romance and deals with things such a drinking, bullying, physical abuse but also friendship, unspoken loves, lost relationships and romance. Very good read.

Monday night guy. By liz lovelock Cute story a little abuse in this read so heads up! Bookbub

Kmn. This book is so unbelievably bad, it's like it was written by a 15 year old on wattpad & it's a first draft. Reasons this book is hot garbage: -Addison knows how to fight yet lets her bf be low key abusive to her. But she has no problem fighting other people 😬🤔 -the lack of details. What country are they in? What do the hero & heroine look like? How old are they? Simple, basic info that's totally left out -the gross, schmaltzy relationship between Addison & Parker. It's so childlike & unrealistic. This book isn't worth more of my time ✌🏽

Amazing book!!!. I couldn’t stop reading!!!! I want to read more!!!

Doesn’t flow. I tried to like this book because the synopsis sounded interesting. I started reading it and right off the bat I hated the way it flowed… or rather the lack of flow. I understand the kids are college kids but the conversation and dialogue sounds more like a middle schooler. It just wasn’t my cup of tea. I wouldn’t suggest this book even when it’s free and I definitely would not pay for it.

Good book. I loved this book it made me mad sometimes though because Parker one of the main characters was annoying in some parts but other than that it was really well written

Good book!. I wasn’t sure I was all into this book at times which is probably more of an age thing. However, as it got more into the real story of Parker and Addison, it became a really sweet love story with that forever type of love. Loved the ending!

Bad. Got so lost. Characters weren’t dynamic at all. There was no point to this story.

Pass. Could only get through half of the book before giving up. No character development. Felt like I was reading something written by a high schooler.

Monday Night Guy. A good read. Nothing too heavy, easy to be drawn into. Loved the relationship between the friends. 👍👍👍👍😁

Not quite. Too much high school for me.. nice enough story but,... a little too immature.. and as for the pet name... could it have been more lame and annoying? I don think so

I want a guy like Parker Kent!. Monday Night Guy has all the makings of a great story - relatable characters, a dose of angst, completely swoon-worthy moments, and a storyline that hooks you from the beginning. Addison struck a chord with me. I’ve been in a similar situation so I empathised with her completely. I’ve been through her struggles and I’ve felt her pain. To me, she was completely real. It’s not often that a book has the ability to make me feel so strongly about a character, so I take my hat off to Liz Lovelock. Monday Night Guy is not only a romance, but a story of personal growth, development, and rediscovery. I could not put this book down, I read it as fast as my eyes would let me. I loved Parker and Addison and they’re story. A definite must read for lovers of college romance.
