Good flowing read.. Simple plot,with a few surprises thrown in!

Sweet and warm like Christmas cookies.. This was a beautifully written, well developed book with all the feels. I've finally started embracing the fact, that I am a guy, who actually likes romances. I know, shocker, right? But, this was the first introduction back into the genre in a while. And I absolutely loved it. Amanda nailed it and I can't wait to read the rest of the series. Keep it up, and thank you for the best holiday read I've read, in a long while.

Main character was too much. I did not like the main female character. She was so prideful and full of self doubt. I get having pride but she argued over every little thing, to the point where she was just plain annoying. She also had absolutely NO faith in herself or in the main male character. Her constant self doubt got old fast. I couldn’t get into a story where I just couldn’t find a way to like the main character.

Giving brings happiness. Who would have thought a small gift donation to the church would create something so wonderful. Obstacles or not loves presides.

Magical Romance. 4,5 Stars for Merry Me ( Holiday Romance Novel #1) This is a fairly new author to me but as Christmas is my favourite time of year this book was always going to be on my radar and it did not disappoint. This is Elliott Duncan and Lynn Carpenter’s story and their take will appeal to all romance lovers. Police Chief Elliott Duncan dislikes everything about the holiday season but when single mum Lynn Carpenter leaves a gift on his doorstep he has idea how to return the gift without offending. Lynn a single mum to Laura, she is strong, sassy and is used to doing things for herself so when Elliott offers help it goes against everything she believes in.... This is a sweet holiday romance, two people not looking for love find themselves wrapped up in the magic of the holiday season and it’s takes them both working together to bring the Christmas spirit back into their lives. Wonderful, magical romance and I adored this story.
