Hard to put down!. The story of a tiny Appalachian community told from multiple perspectives, with expertly woven clues in each chapter. I really loved the ending. The prose is easy to read and get lost in. A good book for a weekend read.

If the Creek Don’t Rise. WOW ! What a book. Not my usual style to read, but once I started I couldn’t stop. I wanted not only for Sadie to have her revenge, but I wanted to find out what happened to the rest of the standout characters. This book would make a great movie. Very well written.
