In any of life's challenge - "Do NOT LET GO" ..... Andrew Grey's romantic tale about a brief encounter between a Wyoming rodeo bull riding champion, Hy (Zeke) Whitely -- and a very highly successful professional Country Music performer, Avery (Robert) Rivers, meeting in a bar after the first afternoon rodeo contest stirs their brief meeting to unknown and unprepared consequences. Andrew Grey's unfolding narrative relates how new aquatints respond, guarding each man's secrets, breaking down their barriers developing their mutual honest confessions into romantic passion - together - to regain their love for each other - never to let go when life's direction and responsibilities divide and seperate each from the other. A wonderful cowboy romance.

Bad Combination. Let’s start with the writing. First, I could see all the pieces coming together well before the mid point of the book. And I know you have to lower your perception level of reality with this genre of book, BUT a public display between any two men at a PBR event would get you run out of town on the rails. If not drug behind a truck. Now the narrator. He could not be more annoying. Voice inflection was very effeminate for Robert. Often sounding like the female characters in the book. His pauses between descriptions and dialogue were irritatingly .........and distractingly ....... long. You get the idea. Sorry, there are better novels out there.

I never would have guessed..... Bull riding and country music?!! If you knew me, you’d know I would be the last person to be drawn to a story focused on either of these, much less both. The draw was the characters struggling with what seemed to choosing between careers and that special person in their lives. These characters seemed real and the life experience each exhibited in the story seemed very believable. As the struggles came to a head, the resolution of the story satisfied me, even though I would never ride a bull or buy a country music album... unless in had “Don’t Let Go” in it!!
