Waste of time an money. Because I paid for it, $12.99 I tried and tried and kept on reading until chapter 15. This book is so so bad, I have learned my lesson to never buy before reading sample.

Great summer read!. The Summer of Sunshine and Margot was just like Susan Mallery! Fun, light, and a great summer read. Although I do think Bianca’s name should have been in the title because she makes the book! She is a hoot! I am an only child and the relationship between Sunshine and Margot made me wish I had a sister I could lean on and have fun with! This is a great summer/beach read! Susan never disappoints!

Margot and Sunshine. What a story. Sunshine and Margot are twins who have a tough time with love. This story really shows us how when you are taking care of yourself love finds you!

Another Excellent Read. Enjoyed every minute of this new novel and can only hope we will see both Sunshine and Margot again in a future book!!

The Sumer of Sunshine & Margot. I loved this book. Didn’t want it to end. The story of the sisters and their connection and their personal issues, the situations they found themselves in....how it all intertwined. Well written. Wish there was more. When I turned the last page I was devastated that it didn’t continue. I wanted more.

A great summer read. The Summer of Margot and Sunshine is a great summer read to pass the time on a sunny beach day or a rainy inside day. It follows twins Margot and Sunshine through their daily lives and interests in men that are “off-limits” in their minds. I very much enjoyed Bianca also.

Wonderful book. Wonderful book, that I highly recommend. Family dynamics, twin sisters, love, and humor always make for a good summertime read. Throughly enjoyed!

Great Storytelling. Margot and Sunshine Baxter are fraternal twins who have had disastrous relationships in the past and are determined to change. Margot has left a toxic long term relationship and is determined to not repeat her past mistakes. Margot works as a consultant and her latest client is aging movie star Bianca Wray. Bianca is engaged to a foreign diplomat and wants to behave appropriately. She is living with her son, Alec McNicol, who is a stodgy academic that craves order to counteract his mother’s erratic behavior. Sunshine continually picks the wrong men and is now alone and doesn’t have any direction in life. She takes a nanny position with widower Declan for his son Conner. She is determined to change, get a degree and not let men run her life. All the main characters have a lot of issues they have to get through before they can get to their happily ever after. I loved all of the characters, and enjoyed the development of all of the relationships (even the non-romantic ones). I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.

Loved it!. The Summer of Sunshine and Margot was such a great read. I have been a Susan Mallery fan for many years & her books never disappoint. I enjoyed the dual story lines in this book- it was fun to go back & forth between the sisters lives. This book was about learning & growing & not letting sad situations in the past define the future. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

The perfect summer time read. This is a story of two sisters who seem totally different yet underneath they are seeking the same thing... Real love. Both seem to handle circumstances in different ways, one keeping everything under control and the other fly by the seat of her pants. They are trying to undo the curse of being unlucky in love and lasting relationships, Given that their mother and grandmother abandoned them. They both have so much left to give and trying to find the right person to give it to you. It’s such a wonderful story. I related to sunshine in so many different ways. I found myself rooting for her to succeed. Also in the fact that she inadvertently hurt people by following her heart. She was trying so hard to change to do things in the right way. You will love the story, you will fall in love with all the characters especially Bianca. Read it this summer, you won’t be disappointed.

Great book!. This beautiful story of two very different sisters hooked me from page one. Sunshine and Margot were very engaging characters were honestly trying to break out of old and destructive habits. Sunshine wants to be more than her physical appearance, while Margot has resigned herself to her job being her focus. While I was intrigued by Margot and her job as an etiquette coach, Sunshine is the sister I enjoyed the most. Bianca’s storyline was a bit of a disappointment at the conclusion; I think I was expecting a reason for the was she behaved. Connor was a delight and his father Declan was very yummy. I’m still processing how I feel about Alec, though. I finished this book within a few hours of starting it, so it definitely held my attention. This book was more women’s fiction than straight contemporary romance, which is my go-to genre of choice. Other than one particular sex scene, which I felt took me away from the relationship between the two characters, this was a solid read, enjoyable read.

Long and tedious. Not worth the read or time.. The story has a good premise but is miserable to read. It’s very wordy. I usually finish a book in - few days. This took over 2 weeks because I couldn’t make myself finish it. It has a pleasant story but is a wordy and tedious. I wouldn’t read it again.

What a great read!. There is a theme this summer of sisterhood and summer books. The struggles internal and external, strong character development, and gripping plot are what kept me up all night to finish this story.

The Summer if Sunshine and Margo. Susan Mallory has outdone herself with this book. Once again characters are in-depth and given unique personalities. Also the story is enhanced greatly with knowledge given regarding the monastery and its mysteries. Could not quit reading ! Ncbred

Put a little sunshine in your day. While I won’t go into story detail, you can find that in other reviews, I can say Susan Mallory is a must read for me. She is a master at character development showing growth and real emotion in each person in the story. This book could have easily been two books with a few places that were a little distracting in the switch between story lines but it is so worth the read. The perfect beach read but don’t forget sunscreen because once you start you won’t want to put it down!!
