Amazing. I binged read this book from beginning to end. I don’t remember the last time I was so interested in reading. The chemistry between Devlyn and Garret is amazing. I just wish it didn’t took that long for Garret to realize that. 5 stars.

Garrett has one lady that he is devoted to in his life and that his daughter. What happens when she grows up and he realizes that he has had the best thing in front of his eyes the entire time. Garrett falls hard for his sexy best friend. All is not easy in their story but they get through it.

Good but.... HEA but it took too long to get there. I’m not sure if Devlyn was patient or stupid for waiting forever for Garrett to finally notice her ... and when it happened, it took just as long (in terms of time, not really; in terms of emotions and tears, definitely!) for Garrett to “out” their relationship. Always got an excuse for why “now is not a good time”. Never mind that they enjoyed the behind-closed-door aspects (yes, THAT!) of it. Garrett used Devlyn - emotionally and physically - and she let him. Is that love - on either/both sides? Grandpa was the best part of the story. He was the only one with something worthwhile to say or do, every time he popped up.

So Good!!!. All My Life by Prescott Lane is the perfect small town romance! I devoured this book! Go ahead 1click, but be sure to leave yourself plenty of time for reading, you will not want to put this one down!!!!

Wonderful!. Heartwarming story of lasting love — my favorite story line!

4 Stars. This was super cute. If you are a fan of the best friends to love plot line then this one will hook you. The pace was a beautiful slow burn and you’ll want to scream for them to just love each other already but Devlyn and Garrett worked at their own paces and it worked perfect for them. It was sweet and steamy all at the same time and a story that I’ll make you smile hugely. An upside to this story was whole there was drama, it was pretty straight forward and didn’t continually to happen from start to finish. There’s not much more to say with out spoiling and breaking down the whole plot but read it, you’ll really enjoy it. 4 stars #2OCCJD

enjoyed it!. 3.5 STARS! I haven’t read a a Prescott Lane book in a while but when I saw a single father/friends to lovers story, I was excited to pick this one up. Heartfelt, emotional, and that small town feel I love, I enjoyed this book. Garrett had Mia when he was 16 years old... going from the town hero to ostracized in the snap of a finger. But Devlyn his best friend never gave up on him, always staying by his side to raise his beloved daughter. Now 18 years old, Mia is about to go to college while worrying about her young dad being alone, never truly living his life. With a little bit of meddling on her part, he is forced on some dates never realizing what was always right in front of him. And let’s not even get into when the mother who left Mia as a baby returns to town to claim her “right” to be in her daughter’s life... ugh! There were so many things I loved about this story... the love between a father and his daughter, Mia’s relationship with Devlyn and of course the grandfather. The sexy times were hot and I was beyond ecstatic for Garrett to finally have his eyes opened to who was always there for him! But that’s where I also had a problem honestly... it took Garrett EIGHTEEN YEARS to figure out how much Devlyn meant to him! When she basically helped raise his child and put her life on hold, he didn’t realize the treasure he always had. It made me so mad because I wanted MORE for Devlyn... she deserved MORE! I can’t even get into them waiting to tell Mia at the return of her birth mother because why did this good woman always have to wait?!?!? And I know that Mia is young and didn’t intentionally mean to hurt Devlyn with her words but I was frustrated with her initial trust of her birth mother... a woman she never knew and could invest so much into her from day 1. I would have assumed there would be more skepticism, but she was won over very quickly :( I did enjoy this book very much honestly... the writing was very good, the story intriguing to the point I couldn’t put it down. I just wish some things were different. I would most definitely read this author again!

More than love this author!! Love this book so much!!. For an author to take her time with each book she puts out you can only hope that all the build up to each book is like nothing you have ever read.... Prescott Lane is an incredible author who I eagerly grab her book each time I know she’s going to release one because I KNOW she will deliver an epic book. This one had me worried like no other, excited for more each chapter, scared for the future, in tears over the amount of love this town and characters have for each other that is will be the book to read of the year. Everyone needs to read this book! Devlyn is one amazing woman who is the best friend you hope you have in your life. She sticks by Garrett and Mia for the entire time that she is needed and even more than that she wants to be there. I loved getting to know her and see her grow as a woman who knows what she wants and even in the end when she does what she does out of love. Cried HARD!!! Mia, Garrett’s daughter, sounds like an impressive young lady who grows up in this small town with everyone having a hand in helping raise her. Small town life is amazing but can also leave you without an opened mind to more. Mia is different than most girls and at moments got upset with some of the things she says but could totally see a teenage girl saying those things without thinking they could hurt anyone. I did it and I have regrets. Garrett is the dad in a small town and a single dad who had all eyes on him most of the time. He was a young dad who did his best for his one and only girl in his life, his daughter. The way these two would interact would have everyone wishing they had that type of relationship with their father. I had so many emotions during this book but end the end I always had love. Love for the people of this small town, love of Garrett and even love of Garrett’s dad, Edward. I love that Prescott had such an amazing story to tell of not only Garrett but of the entire town in some small form. I truly felt like I was sitting in my house in that town reading and would soon walk out to the latticework on the houses. Thank you for some inspiring words! Congrats on this best seller!

Good story. Good story. A little crude in places but overall a good read.

All my life. The best I’ve read in quite a while. Could t put it down. That says it all. Read it straight through in one day. Keep them coming. Loved the characters and their relationships. Just great.

Addition to the all time favorites list- #MustRead. All My life has been on my most anticipated reads this fall since the moment I read the blurb. Undoubtedly, the unrequited love trope is my very most favorite trope. Couple that with Prescott Lane's impeccable writing I knew I would love this book. Ms. Lane delivered on my expectations in a spectacular fashion -making this a 2017 favorite and a #mustread recommendation. The story is centered around Garrett and his daughter Mia, and Devlyn, Garrett's best friend and the character whose voice we know from the blurb. The story opens with Mia, Garrett's daughter giving her high school graduation speech and calling attention to her father's state of single"dom". When this goes viral and chaos ensues, Garrett finds himself re-evaluating his needs as a man and his relationships. The story is told in both past and present, through multiple points of view , including some letters that left me uneasy. The characters are well developed and I found myself completely and utterly invested in the quest for happiness. My heart ACHED for Devlyn as she recounts the years she's been there for Mia and Garrett and how tightly woven their lives are and I had trepidation and fear as the past tries to push itself into the present. Conversely I ached for all that Garrett went through and the road he faces as his loyalties are tested. I found myself completely unable to put this done and read this in one fell swoop. There was no way I could let the story be for a day, I had to know where it would go. So even as I put it down as I finished it at o'dark thirty I just couldn't forget about it. Its been days but I still feel every emotion and reading over my highlights just makes me want to re-read it already. This was just so perfectly plotted taking me through a range of emotions, happiness and tears abound. Kudo's to Ms. Lane on the addition of All My Life to her already stellar repertoire. 5++ Stars!!

Review: All My Life. All My Life by Prescott Lane is a standalone contemporary friends-to-lovers romance. Told in dual POV between Devlyn and Garrett the book opens with the high school valedictorian speech given by Garrett's daughter Mia and takes the reader on a wild trip into the lives of Garrett, Mia, Devlyn and how they came to be where they are at this crossroads in all their lives. Passionate, well-written and well-paced, this story was epic and awesome and I loved every minute of it. Devlyn has been in love with Garrett since the moment she laid eyes on him and they were best friends ever since. At fifteen, Devlyn experienced a switch in their friendship when an outsider came to their sleepy town for the summer. Garrett fell for Sheena and left Devlyn on the outside, still his best friend but she felt the loss of him when his romantic interest was turned to this newcomer. When Sheena returns months later, pregnant, Devlyn knows that is it for her. Determined now to be the best friend he could ever want - she is there for him the entire pregnancy and all the years he raised his daughter. Garrett was the one the town thought would get the football scholarship and go away to a great college, but when he becomes the teen parent and pariah of the town only Devlyn is there for him. Thanks to her solid friendship the town softens towards his outcast status and when he is left to parent alone, they all start to help in whatever ways they can. The whole town becomes "adoptive" parents of Mia. When things shift between Devlyn and himself he starts to question everything he thought he knew about the past 18 years. He sees everything in a different, much clearer light. Finally he is ready to give Devlyn everything she deserves and more and then a blast from the past shows back up ad throws everyones lives into turmoil. Loved this! Enjoy!

This book had it all!. Second chance, friends to lovers, small town romance, a viral video that leads to a dating experiment, return of an ex. All My Life has it all. Garrett is the ultimate single dad. He gave up everything at a young age to raise his daughter, Mia. Now that she is about to go off to college, Mia wants to find someone to take care of her father. Her great dating experiment opened up Garrett's eyes to the possibility of having someone in his life. Devlin is the quirky diner owner that has known and loved Garrett all her life. She stuck by him when everyone else turned their backs on him. But for years she settled for friendship, rather than risking telling him how she felt, and losing him. Three failed dates and some wise advice from his dad, and Garrett finally saw what was right in front of him all along. This book pulled out so many emotions. I laughed, cried, was angry, sad and happy. I absolutely love the way Prescott creates real characters who you not only can relate to, but you feel like they are part of your life. I could not put this book down! The ending left me satisfied, but also wanting so much more. Another hit by Prescott Lane!

Great Friends to Lovers story. My first read from Prescott Lane was an enjoyable one. All My Life was extremely well written, and I will absolutely be reading more from this author. Garrett is an amazing father. While I thought this story would be one with a little girl, his daughter actually has just graduated high school. He’s raised her all alone, with the help of his small town, including his best friend Devlyn. Devlyn, of course has always been in love with Garrett. It was a good story, although parts felt like Devlyn was being walked all over, and she just let it happen. I don’t really want to give too much away, but ultimately I enjoyed it and would recommend it. His friends to lovers romance was sweet and sexy in one.

A heartwarming and poignant tale not to be missed. All my life is insanely heartwarming and beautiful tale of love, friendships and true bond. A bond between two best friends , a bond between a father and daughter and a bond formed between a woman and a little girl which starts from the moment she is born and gets stronger as this little girl grows up . The story was sweet yet very emotional at times . It’s goes between past flashbacks and present. I loved the sweet and fun moments between Garrett and young Mia but My heart broke for both young Garrett and also for Devlyn . I loved both Garrett and Devlyn’s characters and they were so cute together. The comfort level between these two friends and how Devlyn never leaves Garrett side when everyone else leaves him and takes a role of a mother in Mia’s life shows was shown so beautifully by the author. The story really showed that not by giving birth you you form a relationship and become a family but it takes more than that . If you love someone you have to stick around and be there for them and sacrifice for them . Without giving too many spoilers this story is really heartwarming and heart touching and really beautifully written. Definitely worth reading. An emotional and poignant tale not to be missed. I haven’t really read any of Prescott books before this was my first books. I received an advance copy of this book via Social Butterfly PRC but after reading this book I will be definitely reading more of her books and she will be one of my autobuy authors . Highly recommend this book.

Beautiful, sweet, but Hot and Swoony, too!. I absolutely adored this story!! It is everything that is beautiful, sweet, romantic, and sexy, too. It has the perfect small town feel that just made me want to pack up and move to Eden Valley!! “She’s loved me in her own way—quiet, secret, soft. She didn’t ask me for anything, she knew I couldn’t give it. Her love is unselfish and pure and given without ever knowing if I’d love her back.” Garrett became a dad when he was not much more than a child himself. The person who stood by him through it all was Devlyn, his best friend. But now his daughter Mia is graduating from high school and Garrett is opening his eyes and seeing what has been right in front of him all along. “Guess you missed me,” I tease. She pulls back, looking into my eyes. “I’ve been missing you all my life.” “We only just . . .” She runs her fingers through my hair. “All my life.” Single dad, devoted to his daughter, friends to lovers, small town... what more do I need to say except that this story is all that and done so beautifully that after I turned the last page I just wanted to sit and hug my e-reader to hold on to the story as long as I could. -5 Stars!!-

I couldn’t let go. Garrett Hollis had it all as a sixteen year old athlete in small town Eden Valley. He was handsome and popular with a bright future ahead of him. He and Devlyn Drake have known each other since they were five years old and she’s secretly crushed on him ever since. When beautiful Sheena reluctantly accompanies her family to the town for the summer, she hones in on Garrett right away, thus beginning an intense relationship that ends with a pregnancy that shattered his life. Sheena gave birth to Mia and walked away that same day, leaving Garrett to raise his daughter on his own. He’s now 34-years old and Mia has just graduated from high school and headed for college. Garrett devoted his life to his daughter from the day she was born, with Devlyn being a major fixture in their lives. The story is told from Garrett and Devlyn’s points of view and that made such a difference. Without both perspectives providing clarity, their long-term friendship without benefits may have seemed highly improbable but it made perfect sense given the small town community, his total commitment to his daughter and her absolute fear of ruining their friendship. I loved their relationship and how it slowly (and I mean slowly!) transitioned to something more. There’s something beautiful about two friends who love and respect each other deeply changing the direction to intimacy. Devlyn’s feelings never wavered and Garrett was the one most surprised by the awakening of his latent feelings for her. The angst she later experienced was natural given the human condition and was realistically portrayed. I really loved this story and especially Devlyn who loved both Garrett and Mia fiercely and unselfishly. While it was primarily Garrett’s story to tell, the heart of it belonged to Devlyn. The conflicts, family dynamics and resolutions were deftly addressed without a lot of unnecessary drama and with an authenticity I found refreshing. Prescott Lane is one of my favorite authors who writes the most touching standalone stories, normally in the new adult genre so I was surprised to see her branch out and tackle older subjects and more complex issues. Once I started, I didn’t want to let go. Sometimes you only need look at what’s right in front of you to find what you’ve been looking for. Waiting...waiting...waiting. Starting life from a different vantage point. When priorities change and the course in life alters, a man finds himself ready to accept a another woman in his life. Garrett takes the words, “I’m a one woman man” literally. Having room for only one woman in his life at a time. The story rambles on about insignificant things with mediocre writing. Garrett’s character was painted as this golden boy in high school who made a mistake ostracizing him from other teenagers and adults. He had the support of his parents and Devlyn while raising Mia. Sheena is remembered in some flashback scenes painting her as the evil seductress. Problems: Having unprotected sex with an out-of-towner. These small minded hillbilly backward thinking individuals who ostracized, the once popular teenager for having a baby, like it was a contagious disease to be contracted by other teenagers. A daughter obsessed with her father’s love life. A friend whose been nothing but a friend for years based on some rule to not get involved with the people in town. Letters from the absentee baby momma. Overall: I was disappointed by the writing quality. I was bored as this story became a chore to read. I felt a void in this friendship bridging the gap to lovers it wasn’t a smooth transition. The dialogue is inconsequential rambling. For me it was a rough beginning, middle, and end. At no point in the story did it pick up. It remained flat and boring. Story: I didn’t like any of these characters. Devlyn was a doormat waiting for Garrett to see her as more than a friend. She didn’t necessarily put her life on hold, yet she didn’t make any big moves either. Garrett was so blind, yet focused on one individual only. He put his life on hold for his daughter when he could have multi-tasked with a variety of options. Sheena was careless and wild. She could’ve fought for her daughter instead of accept defeat.

10 stars!!. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. This book was a firs time my this author for me. I would give this 10 stars. It was amazing. I loved every character from Garrett, Mia and Devlyn! They were all great in their own way. Garrett, I swooned multiple times because of him. He was great, dedicated, loyal and hot!! Devlyn, she deserved a medal. The most loyal, trustworthy and supportive friend who loved Garrett from afar his entire life. I'm glad they got their happy ending, especially after the ups and down in the end!! I love these type of stories, best friend to lovers!! Great read!! On my top 20 for the year!!

I loved this, a great single dad/ friends to lovers read!. So, I am currently loving the single dad trope, I was excited to read this after looking at the blurb, I hadn't seen the front cover which depicts a younger child sat on a male's shoulders, suggesting a younger child in the story but this younger child turns out to be 17 yrs old, so this didn't bother me as such, which I'm glad I didn't know because I really enjoyed the story - it was really sweet and quite true to life as far as I was concerned, I could totally relate to this and see this happening, for me it was a great story line!! Set in the small town of Eden Valley, the mayor's son, local golden boy Garrett ends up getting his girlfriend Sheena pregnant, becoming the talk of the town and being shunned and avoided by everyone, like teenage pregnancy could be catching!! Baby Mia is born, and Sheena walks away from both Garrett and her daughter signing away any parental rights, leaving Garrett to raise the baby girl by himself, knowing she was not made of 'Mom' stuff! The only person who was there to help him was his best friend who he had grown up with, Devlyn, who just couldn't stand by and see Garrett do everything by himself - Devlyn had been in love with Garrett since she was little, and would always be there to help her friend, no matter what trouble it caused with her parents. Eventually the small town of Eden Valley saw how much Mia meant to Garrett and rallied round behind him. Mia is now graduating from school and in her speech she gives all the recognition to her dad and how he raised her by himself, she didn't want to go off to college and leave her dad all alone, asking if any woman wanted to date him, which went viral on social media, causing a major influx of women wanting to date Garrett. So this story is told in dual perspectives from Devlyn and Garrett's POV, fliting back in time through Mia and her growing up. I loved the story, don't get me wrong, but I was also a little frustrated at times, especially with Devlyn having just waited around for 20 yrs for Garrett, always being in the friend zone. Unrequited love is the worst kind, yet she always put Garrett and Mia first and did what was best for them, always putting herself in the background. Garrett was lovely with his daughter, putting her needs before anything else, and of course he is a man and is clueless as to how much Devlyn loves him and his daughter. This also frustrated me a little, how can he not know her feelings for him, Devlyn was always there for him and Mia no matter what, but as I said that's men for you, so yes I get this. So when they eventually get together its like the jigsaw pieces falling into place, it's sweet and romantic, the chemistry between them is electric, but best of all they are friends who know how to be with each other, it's just so easy them being together. This is when the penny drops with Garrett and he starts to see just how much he has relied on Devlyn over these past years. This is also when someone appears in their life that causes mega disruption and heartache all round. I really enjoyed this story, its sweet, romantic, funny, sexy, swoony and emotional - a great single dad / friends to lovers read that really is worth the read.

Charming Small Town Romance. While most seventeen year old guys are carefree and possibly heading to college, Garrett Hollis was changing diapers and single handedly raising his baby daughter, Mia. What began as a holiday romance with his daughter’s mother ended in a situation that literally left him holding the baby. He’s admirable in the way he shoulders the responsibility and the proof is in the pudding when his now seventeen year old daughter is Valedictorian of graduating high school class. Her gratitude to her father is humbling, so much so it’s the topic of her speech. Her hopes for him now is to find love and fulfil the moments he missed out on when he was raising her. Mia’s heartfelt speech gains social media attention and it’s not long before it goes viral. In turn it brings with it an influx of women to the town hoping to bag themselves the catch that is Garrett. Although not at all keen Garrett agrees to go on three dates to keep Mia happy. In all the craziness he’s grateful for the sanity that is his best friend, Devlyn Drake. ‘DD’ has had the title of best friend for almost 20 years, and for everyone of them she has wished for something more. She’s been there for both Garrett and Mia and as much as she loves them the hurt of being on the outside looking in is becoming too much to bear. I have to admit I was looking forward to the torture of the unrequited love but I felt things moved quite quickly without any significant change to their dynamic. The reappearance of Mia’s mother was another was a source of conflict but to me she felt caricature of a villain. Although not quite the heart-wrectching romance I hoped for, All my Life was a sweet friends to lovers romance with small town charm.

Loved this book. The second I read the synopsis of this book I knew if there was ever going to be a book that was perfect for me, this was that book. I can’t get enough of unrequited love and poor Devlyn has the worst case I’ve seen. This woman (who I think I’m a little in love with) has put her own wants and needs on the back burner for years, she’s got a heart of gold and I just adored her. In fact this could be the one time that I have absolutely no complaints about the main female character in a book....ever! I’m usually quite hard to be won over by female leads but that wasn’t the case with Devlyn. Her history with Garrett is complicated but she’s always shown that when she says she isn’t going anywhere, she means it. Garrett surprised me. I expected to get frustrated beyond belief at him but that wasn’t the case at all. I loved him. Once he’d pulled his head out his ... and realised just how much Devlyn has done for him, it’s like he was a different man. I love a single dad and there’s few dads out there more dedicated than Garrett is. He’s an amazing dad and his daughter is his world <<< nothing sexier in a man than that. I adored this story. It gave me all the feels and even though I went in to this book with super high expectations, Prescott Lane gave me everything I wanted and more with Devlyn and Garrett story.

Fantastic read. I loved this book. So hard to put down.

A beautiful story!. 4.5 stars All my Life is the first book I have read by the author and it was certainly a beautiful story that I wasn’t sure would have a happy ending to be quite honest! I love books that are about single fathers and Garrett certainly lived up to his name! He doted and adored Mia, making her his priority and not wanting anything to get in his way even having his friend Devlyn by his side in just about everything they did... This book had a slow burn feel to it and I really sympathized with Devlyn, in all honesty, she had a real heart of gold! Can Garrett open his heart again and love someone? Or has Mia’s birth mother running away caused him to settle for being alone! My emotions were all over the place, I laughed, cried and sighed and I truly wished for a beautiful outcome! I really did enjoy this beautiful story of love that comes when you least expect it or you come to realize what was in front of you... I would definitely want to read more from the author!

Loved this friends to lovers romance. This was the first book I have read by Prescott Lane and after reading All My Life I’m wondering why I haven’t come across her before now, I loved this single dad romance and I can’t wait to read more from this very talented author. Garrett became a single dad at 17 when the mother of his daughter Mia walked away from them both being left on his own with a new born he started relying more and more on his best friend Devlin. Devlin was always there for Garrett and his daughter and now Mia is that much older she finds herself wanting more than friendship could Garrett feel the same .......... A beautifully written friends to lovers story with the added attraction of a single dad if you are looking for a love story with the perfect mix of love, sweetness, passion, humour and just the right amount of angst this is the book for you. Great read, looking forward to more from Prescott Lane

5 Stars. This was my first Prescott Lane book, even though she has been on my radar for a little while now. And let me tell you, I will definitely be back for more! I was hooked with this story right from the start, and I devoured it in close to one sitting. Garrett is an amazing character - both as a father, a friend, and a well liked person in his little hometown. Devlin also is well liked by everyone, and because they have known each other their whole lives, there is a wonderful friendship base and ease of things between them. This is one of the more extreme, if that's the right word, friends to lovers books that I have read, and the only reason I say that is because of the length of time that Devlin has harboured feelings for Garrett. I could see the issues that were going to happen, pretty close to the start, and I was filled with a lot of angst throughout this read. I couldn't put the damn book down because I was so determined to find out what would happen. There were a few characters I wanted to say some choice words to, but in the end, everything played out really nicely, and the story ended perfectly. I definitely recommend this one, and I look forward to reading more by Prescott in the future.

single dad reads are my absolute favourite.. Devlyn has always been in the background and was there for anything they needed friend, mother figure. This story starts a little different Garrett daughter Mia’s is off to college and is concern her dad is going to be lonely. He hasn’t dated much, his life has been solely Mia. For her valedictorian speech she lets everyone know her dad is single and she’s looking for dates for him. This goes viral. He decides to humour her by allowing 3 dates. The dates are disastrous, a feminist, selfie queen and the only one that was any good knew he belonged to someone else. This was a good thing now he knows want he wants. Operation time to woo Devlyn. I loved this story it’s no secret single dad reads are my absolute favourite. I loved everything about this , the dad, his loving relationship with his daughter, the way he is with Devlyn and even his dad who knew all along.

All My Life. My first book written by Prescott Lane and I enjoyed every minute of reading it. Garrett is a very young single father whose daughter Mia is about to turn 18. Devlyn Drake has been his friend through all the ups and downs and has loved him from afar. I would recommend this book without any hesitation, and feel the book should be read to enjoy it. It took me a day to read it because it is a hard book to put down. I am definitely a Prescott Lane fan.
