Navy stories. Great “modern history Stories “ about the seal adventures

A great capture of a good man’s journey. This is a really great read that slightly takes the reader into the world of spec ops and the challenging encounters Admiral MacRaven faces as a leader driven to succeed. Also gives a greater understanding of the many efforts and sacrifices made to preserve freedom and human rights around the world.

An Excellent Read. If you enjoy learning about the military you will surely enjoy this book. McRaven is truly a one of a kind who has been through some incredible experiences. Not many can say they are a part of so many historical events. Beyond that, his insights and perspectives are both inspiring and poignant. A true American hero and legend. Thank you.

Puzzled. Seal books, stories, movies, etc., are over saturating the market. Wasn’t a bad read but his high regard for John Brennan was a little puzzling, but I guess one does not rise to rank of Admiral without some political DNA.

Inspiring autobiography. Well told life history of one of the greatest admirals of all time. Captivating stories from key events of his life. Incredibly respectful, persevering, spiritual and grateful individual. Loved it.

Another book on being a SEAL. It appears every SEAL, who has seen action, feel or is compelled to write a book on being a SEAL. There are several books on SEAL activities and while the Country can be grateful for their service it would be better if the SEAL authors did not flood us with copies of their exploits and go back in the shadows where they belong.

Must Read. If you like military action then you’ll love this one. The Admiral tells the stories of chasing down the bad guys and it’s hard to put down.
