Great book. Loved it
The Sixth Man. This turned out to be a page burner for me. I loved getting to know Andre and his world view and the background information and history of his career. This is a must read not only if you are interested in Basketball, you will get a feel for the dynamics of living in the arena of professional sports and come away wanting to change the racist climate present in the United States and your community. Iggy. This made me love iggy even more
Spicy authenticity. This book has everything you could want from a sports biography—emotion, introspection, and even some hot takes. It’s a great read with great insights into the life of a black professional athlete.
Refreshingly Honest!. Though this book is based in the reality of a professional athlete; it accurately depicts the real life struggle and conflict (both internal & external) of a successful black man. It is NOT written only for black men, but rather from the relective-perspecitve of a black man. *Andre Iguodala…thank you for writing this. I get it!!!! You were given this platform for a reason. Keep using it to change lives. Be blessed!

Too long. Some good stories and insights from reflections, but it was too long and often had a ‘woe-is-me’ tone that fit oddly with his self-exceptionalism.
Great stories. Mr. Iguodala offers a great perspective on life as a black man and an NBA player. I strongly recommend.
