I was supposed to work today.... Theoretically, let’s say I was supposed to work today--but maybe I read this FANTASTIC book for 8 hours instead. This is strictly theoretical and in no way true😬

Terribly Written. The story has potential but it just requires a better author. This book has its moments so I gave it 2 stars. It also reads like a copycat of the Lark Cove series by Devney Perry. So much so that I had to go find one and start looking at character names. I had to do my usual skimming and skipping through. SEX SCENES - yes

Advice from a Jilted Bride ( Lake Starlight Alaska book 2 ) by Piper Rayne. Wow another great story about the Bailey family . This is Brooklyn and Wyatt’s story . Brooklyn is left at the alter by her fiancé Jeff and she is left with the apartment they had rented . Then comes Wyatt a man that is there at the hotel she works at to evaluate for his father on if they will keep it open or not . The pull these two have is wonderful but will it be enough to survive ? I’m on to the next book in this series and looking forward to reading the whole series .

A must read!!!. Amazing doesn’t even begin to describe this book. From the very start, I was sucked in. The Bailey’s have quickly become one of my favorite fictional families, and Brooklyn is the perfect example why. She’s fun, feisty, and doesn’t hold anything back when she’s been hurt..... even if it means an unexpected run in with her new neighbor. Wyatt... where to start with him. He’s sexy. A bit alpha. And 100% fits in with the Bailey clan. My heart ached for what he went through throughout the story, and there is a certain secondary character I wouldn’t mind having a heart attack, or at least a come to Jesus talk. And that epilogue ending?! I can’t wait for the next book!! An amazing read that I would definitely recommend!!

Great story but…. Great story and characters but gratuitous sex scenes detracted from power of story. Needs solid editing to build tension and present fuller storyline.

Couldn’t put it down. It was a great story !!! Not to bad on the PDA but it didn’t need it they were good all on their own . The couple was a good fit and so worth the read and arm pain of non stop reading . Thank you for continuing to be a great team of writers !!!

Great book. I love this series of books.

Sweet love story. I love learning more about the Bailey siblings. Their stories are heart warming and funny. Wyatt and Brooklynn become neighbors and meet in an unexpecting way. They are from two different worlds and he has a secret. C Should they even be thinking about each other? This book just had all the feel good moments. Of course there’s always a little twist.

Advice From a Jilted Bride. New author for me, and I loved this story. The family dynamics were wonderful, and a sweet story all around. I will definitely read this author again. There is sex but not all through the story. I honestly don’t remember any bad language.

Really like Piper. Every book of hers I’ve read has been enjoyable and this one was no exception. It’s easy to get hooked on her series. It’s binge watching a steaming series but in book form. And your imagination always beats the screen.

So delightful. A very good read. Loved that it did NOT contain page after page of sex. It kept my interest throughout. Love the names of the town businesses and the Baileys. An enjoyable read.

I love the Baileys. What can I say, I love the Baileys! The is the second book in the series and centers around Brooklyn Bailey, third oldest of the Bailey clan. the book starts with Brooklyn being left at the altar by Jeff the weasel, via text message. While taking her anger out on Jeff’s items in their apartment, she throws a book, hitting Wyatt in the hallway. Of course, Wyatt is her new boss and new neighbor. I love both Wyatt and Brooklyn. Brooklyn has been through a lot, but is still sweet and kind. Wyatt is a great guy, but needs to find his way to his happiness. I loved that the relationship built slowly, it made me more invested in the happily ever after. Great installment in the series. I cannot wait for the next book!

Wyatt & Brooklyn. Enjoyed Wyatt and Brooklyn’s story. Love how they’re connected - you get glimpses of Austin and Holly, as well as the other siblings. The epilogue also gives a glimpse into the 3rd book about Rome.
