Skeptic. I was skeptical, I admit, but was pleasantly surprised. Great twist and turn story Along with great cast of characters.

Retribution. I ask myself each time I start a new book, how to describe my reading and I always say the same thing, great book and great author. I loved each book the same or I would have called it trash and stopped reading it. So take that as one which I would recommend to all readers of mysteries. Ole grandma

The Best. Very Good & Quick Easy Read

With reservations. The story was good and very fast paced. The dialogue and interactions were ok. I am not interested in reading any follow up books but it was doable.

Pretty good. Slow story about 2/3 of the way through then it picked up steam and got pretty good. Frightening the way John did Jesse and then Kate. Bad people are everywhere and in all kinds of jobs, hard to feel safe.

Love a good suspense story. I’m not a big fan of iBooks or e-reader type books because I just prefer buying and physically holding a book in my hands. I came across the book Retribution in iBooks and I am so glad I did. Now I’m hooked on C.M. Sutter and the Jade, Amber and full Kate series.

Drama. You kinda know how it will end, but it keeps you guessing!

Retribution. C M Sutter you are by far one of my favorite authors. This was really a crazy book. Finished it in 2 days because I need d to get to the end of it so I could know if Jesse and Kate would survive.

Retribution. AMAZING, from start to finish, an absolutely enthralling tale of suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I don’t normally go for the phycological thriller but in this case am I glad I did. Try it I am certain you’ll like it.

Retribution. Fast paced, lots of action. Unfortunately corruption is just about everywhere. Wasn’t sure about the psychic powers, but found it to be believable, not too sci-fi. Plan to get other books in the series.

Retribution. I don’t normally read Thrillers, but I gave this one a try. I was spell-bound and anxious through most of the book. I “enjoyed” the book so much, I signed up for the author’s newsletter and downloaded a few more books!

Skim at best. This book was free for a good reason. The writing is of average quality with many redundancies. Also, there are many flaws in the plot. Some examples: The main character knows that the murderer is a police officer but happily jumps in without confirmation this is the correct person. She dreams of the correct name, but rather than text or email this info to her partner; decides to go back to sleep and phone him in the morning. There is an incident related to one of the Victims in a rural area close to the farm at which the two victims are being held. The police have a multi vehicle pow wow ¼ mile from this farm and don’t think the murderer will notice. Noise travels a long way in a rural area. The police team finally determine where the farm house is and park their vehicles st the end of the lane and walk in. Really! The murderer wouldn’t notice the convergence of vehicles, radios and people at the end of the driveway? I could go on, but will not.
