Sweet. Lila is an attorney who is kinda in a funk. She doesn’t like her job, is in a city with no one she really knows and has no life. Carter is a Wall Street guy about to quit his job to focus on his band. Danielle is Carter’s sister and Lila’s neighbor. She’s going to England for a month for work and needs a dog sitter. Lila and Carter meet to exchange Danielle’s keys and it all begins. They are basically attached from the moment they meet. He is that guy who’s not looking for anything but fun and she’s just trying to go with the flow. One steamy bathroom hookup leads them to get pregnant and lots of decisions for both of them to make. It’s a cute book. Lila is the normal everyday girl and Carter struggles to deal with all kinds of new feelings. It’s a good read. Must read Along Came Baby. Along Came Baby is such a great read. Carter whose definitely trying to be depicted as a hit it and quit it type is sooooo much more as Lila learns. You cannot help but fall for Carter Stevens. He’s written in a sexy, frustrating, funny and complex way. We get to watch him navigate from no strings attached to?!?( you have to read it to find out)!!! Watching JS Cooper navigate through Lila’s attempts at being in the moment for just “ fun” was great. She writes totally relatable characters that you can’t help but cheer for. The best part is the WHAT?!?😮 Ending lol! Great story, easy read and I can’t wait for the next book.

Cute, fun read. Curtis and Lila in Along Came Baby are a cute, fun couple that get a big surprise! This is a book that does have another book that follows up with the couple. I enjoyed all of the characters in the book especially Dante. If one was to get pregnant by a one night stand, I would want Curtis to be the dad! Duel POV- cute story. Received an ARC for an honest review. Cute story. You get to see into both of their minds, Lila and Carter, and they’re just too cute. I felt that the duel POVs was a nice touch. The story made sense, no random inconsistencies. It was a simple story that was an easy read. I did feel like it wrapped up a little too fast though. Can’t wait for Dante’s story; a blind date sounds intriguing. I hope Danielle and Steel get their story too.

Can’t wait for book 2. Who would have though that handing your neighbors brother keys to her apartment would lead to all life changing events. Carter is a wall street banker by day and a musician by night. Lilia is a lawyer and is finally making a great living doing what she always dreamed. There two worlds collide and together they are explosive. After on unprecedented night they have a lot more than they anticipated in their life. I truly enjoyed the story and can't wait to read what happens next. Will Carter calm down form being bossy and arrogant? Will Lilia be able to handle all that life has thrown in her direction? Lila is a lawyer who’s looking to have some fun, and Carter is a Wall Street man by day and a smooth-talking musician by night. He’s exactly what Lila is looking for in the fun category! They both have issues to work out and communication skills to work on, but they will find a way to work it out. Take a chance on this book; it’s worth the read!

Worth the wait.... I pre-ordered this book and then was lucky enough to receive an advanced reader copy for my honest review. This was a refreshing, funny story. Flirting, sex, sarcasm, love, and a baby. Seriously what more can you need?! Lila is an independent attorney and Carter is a Wall Street hottie turned musician. Lila and Carter discover instant chemistry when they meet and agree to a one night stand that turns into countless days. After a month, Lila finds out that she is pregnant and now they need to figure out their next step. They both feel more, but neither will admit it. Will Lila end up being a single mom while Carter goes off to live his dream of being a musician? Or will they both figure out that just may be love at first sight exists?

Cute book. I thought this was a really cute read. Lila a quiet attorney and Carter the up and coming rockstar make the perfect couple. I like how Carter was possessive and a bit crazy but only because he was knocked off his feet with her. I thought the story flowed and was cute. It kept me interested and had a cute HEa so far. Can’t wait to read the next book!

Super cute book. This is a great story about two people who are into their own lives and don’t want anything from each other. They want their fun and be done. Just when you think life is going your way, reality smack you in the face. Lol and a baby changes everything for them. Cute story!

Lust, love, baby. I received this ebook ARC from the author on the condition that I write an honest review. Carter is a young man working in the New York financial district, and a rock musician at night. He is goofy, high spirited, flirtatious, and extremely good looking, although he has a hot temper. Lila is a young woman working as a lawyer, and newly moved to the apartment next to Carter’s sister. They meet when she has to give him his sister’s apartment key so he can dog sit for his sister. There is immediate attraction between them and they begin an immediate relationship, thinking that it’s a one night stand. They eventually become lovers and an accidental pregnancy occurs. The book ends in an HFN form until the next book in the series comes out. There was a lot of lust and love in this book, but both characters seem to have a lot of insecurities, and Carter seems a little controlling, so we shall see what results with this relationship in the following book. The story was well written and entertaining, as are all books written by Ms. Cooper, and I recommend this book.

Enjoyable. Along came baby is one of those books that you read while relaxing on a Sunday afternoon. When everyone in your house, including fluffy are outside in the yard. Or at least not in the room with you. I enjoyed reading this book and I am looking forward to reading more. Along Came Baby, JS Cooper does it again.. I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet story. If you are looking for an easy, non-angsty, lazy afternoon read, this book is for you. I wouldn’t normally read an accidental pregnancy story, I feel they are over done. I love this author, so gave it a read. OMG, am I glad I did! Carter has a playboy reputation, but is besotted with Lila from the start. Of course, Lila doesn’t have him figured out. Read for yourself to appreciate this sweet HEA story.

Cute...kinda 3.5 stars. This is the first book in the Along Came series and book 1 of Carter and Lila’s story. Carter is the older brother of Lila’s friend and neighbor, Danielle. Carter is pet sitting for Danielle when she has to go away for a month long business trip. When Carter and Lila meet, it’s an instant attraction. Neither is looking for a relationship. Just some steamy fun between the sheets. So they both embark on a month long one night stand in which Lila ends up getting pregnant. I liked the book, but didn’t love it. On one hand I was rooting for them, but I couldn’t help but observe some unhealthy relationship aspects of their “non-relationship.” He’s a jealous type and Lila finds that she has to hide her friendship with a coworker and her feelings from him. They have a lot to learn about relationships and I hope that the second book explores that aspect. Overall, the book is well written. P.S. this book does not end on a cliffhanger. Sexy, Sweet and Fun Read. Along Came Baby is nothing like I expected it would be (in a good way). It’s not exactly your typical accidental pregnancy book. I’d read reviews on this book when it first released and was discouraged from buying and reading it but was lucky to receive an ARC, and let it be clear that I really did like this book. I loved Lila’s character; she really made this book so much better by being such a caring, lovable heroine. Carter has his (bad) moments, and if not for his POV I probably wouldn’t have liked him as much, but he, like many guys, is not used to being in a relationship and having strong feelings for a “significant other” so to speak. His and Lila’s relationship was not as “ideal” as other couples from different romance novels, but that made their book so much better. Yes they had a sort of toxic relationship going for them, with Carter being possessive and jealous, but many real relationships are that way and I could see that Carter was struggling with figuring his feelings out and wasn’t a bad person either. The plot and characters to this book were amazing and I’m excited to get to Dante’s book next. The only problem I had with this book was the abrupt ending, it felt very rushed and felt as if the missing scenes should have been included to make this book feel complete. An enjoyable romance read.. Overall a good read. Instant attraction becomes more when what was suppose to be a one night stand makes for an unexpected outcome. Lila was a likable character who has her life figured out but when she meets Carter instant chemistry made for some hot loving that brings feeling to life. Carter was your typical casanova but Lila rocks his world and than comes baby. We need to wait to see how their HEA plays out and Ali can’t wait for it.

Can Lila look passed Carter’s playboy ways, and see him for something more? And can Carter get Lila learn to keep his jealousy under control on seems to be and the 1st woman he wants more with before it pushes her away? And what happens when baby makes 3??? I really enjoyed Along Came Baby, it was the perfect short story, jammed packed with passion, heart, and sizzling chemistry. Lest we not forget the cameo/teaser of Dante in there too..I love it, cannot wait to see what J.S. Cooper has in store for us next.

Along Came Baby. I really liked this book. I felt it showed the true feelings between Lila and Carter. I loved the attitude they each had and their true feeling they had for each other even if they were unwilling to admit it to each other!!

Cute romance. Lila and Carter meet when he has to pick up keys to his sisters apartment to take care of it and her dog, Frosty while she is in England for work. Lila while she thought Carter was hot was annoyed that he was late to get the keys and Frosty which made her late for work but he came with breakfast and she immediately found him to be good looking. After that initial greeting the chemistry between the two is hot and even though it’s supposed to be no stings hook up it doesn’t exactly turn out that way. A surprise pregnancy. Lila is a hard working attorney who meets her neighbor’s brother, Carter, when he temporarily moves next door. Carter, 35, works on Wall Street but also plays in a band and is sexy, good looking and charming. Lila was warned that Carter doesn’t want the responsibility of a girlfriend or a relationship but they hook up anyway. She starts to fall for him and he becomes very bossy and jealous when he realizes she is special. He leaves his job to concentrate on his music career and then Lila realizes she is pregnant. How will they handle the news that they will be parents? Do they have a relationship that can last? Will they be able to manage his touring with the band and her career as well as a baby? I give this book 4.5 stars. It was a well written story that was very enjoyable to read. Carter was not always a very like able character but he seemed to get better the more he was around Lila and matured but his jealousy nearly ruined their relationship. Good read. Though this wasn’t my favorite J.S Cooper book I still enjoyed the relationship between Lila & Carter.

Huh.... I absolutely loved this book until the end. It was moving at a great pace. It had a great plot. It had great detail. The dialogue spot on. I loved their interactions and their intimate moments. I throughly enjoyed this book. But I hated the ending. I would have been ok if they just left things the way they were. Or even if we had to use our imagination that they ended up together. I see there is another book in the works. But the ending was rushed. I felt there that there could have been another chapter then an epilogue or even the last chapter. I think the last chapter would have worked if there was more of a build up. It's almost like the author was late of dinner and had to go so they just "finished" the book.

Quick read. This is a fairly short book but has a good storyline, Lila and Carter meet when he’s dog sitting his sisters pooch. Along come a baby. Great romance with a lot of steam. Olivia and Carter was a great couple, strong characters and feelings,they don’t want to admit to. He never did relationships, she wasn’t ready for new one. But they fall for each other almost instantly. The surprise they didn’t except complicated simple “ no relationship “ situation. Funny banters brought a lot of smile for me as I was rooting for them. The book has a happy ending and follow up in the next book. Very enjoyable and entertaining read.
