Great story.... ...but grammatical errors made it difficult to read at times.

If the spelling errors weren’t bad enough…. The story is just too unbelievable. When H finally decides to tell her father that she’s in love with X, they get into an argument and she leaves and ends up at her friends house. She never calls X and a month goes by before she confronts her father: All the while she supposedly doesn’t talk to X. Really!!! This is just too stupid to keep reading.

Spoiler Alert!. Holly and Xavier sitting in a tree...L-Y-I-N-G! Ugh! The story probably ended in HEA (I felt dirty reading so I stopped), but the road to it was paved with lies and more lies. Lots of scenes around community events and the church (Rick, H’s dad and X’s stepdad, is a pastor), and the juxtaposition of Holly and Xavier acting like a couple of adolescents instead of adults was too disturbing. Her “We’re not romantic! He’s my brother!” routine got annoying, and their behind-Rick’s-back sleepovers were disgusting.

Naaaa. Poorly written. I would rate this book as amateurish at best. Too many spelling errors, the author seems to get lost in her characters and story. Not worth the effort to try to read any other of her books.
