Truth. Every time I read “ This is when God becomes real” I repeated it back . I don’t think I’ve ever read a book about someone’s life where I deeply understood and connected to . Every chapter , story , and moment had me saying “ this is when God becomes real” . Freedom came !

Love this book!. I have to start by saying I’m a nearly 40 year old woman, and I’ve never read an entire book...until today. I couldn’t put the book down. I experienced the same nightmare in 2014, and God healed me the exact same way. It was as though I had written this book myself. It brought me to tears remembering the horrific ordeal I experienced for over a year, but this book was a beautiful reminder of what the Lord has done in me because of it. I wouldn’t trade the suffering for anything now! I’m so thankful Brian Johnson wrote this book, and I pray it will encourage many people to know there is hope in Jesus Christ... no matter how dark it or hopeless it seems!

Great!. I have never read anything that more accurately describes the panic attacks and anxiety I went through that started when I was 14 and ended when I was 17. It also perfectly describes the hope I feel like I carry now that I came out of it. After reading it, I now have tangible ideas and tools that will help me going forward to live my life in a way that will never welcome anxiety again and will also help me to give hope to others dealing with the same issues. Brian’s testimony will flood your mind with the hope, love, and power of God. If you’re surrounded by darkness, this book will help you to see that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.

So beautiful. I love the honesty and you should read this if you have experienced panic or not. So insightful of what it can be like but mainly a wonderful story of hope, church family and God’s faithfulness. I got through it in a couple of hours but know I’ll be mulling over it all for a very long time
