Heart Stopping. Love books that catches your attention from the very beginning. This is that book. You definitely don’t want to put it down. Evan Buckley is a Private Investigator who’s wife went missing five years ago. He needs to change the direction of his investigations. He’s hooked up with a woman who’s son, and husband went missing ten years earlier. It’s difficult for him to take on. So many memories come back to him of the wife he’s still looking for. You follow him through all those he’s interviewing. As he interviews one person it often leads him to another. Each becomes more dangerous. You wonder will he ever be able to find her son and husband. At times you wonder how is he still alive. Such a great page turner that you don’t want to end. I sure hope more great stories are to come featuring Evan.

Bad to the bones. Excellently written and plotted murder mystery with gentle intelligent characters. No thugs of the positive side here just in the bad guys who are really thuggish and twisted. I liked this book, kept me interested. Will read the author again!

Enjoyable read. I like the main character Evan. Guy who has suffered a personal loss followed by a professional loss that kicks him in the gut. The story has many twists that went well with the storyline. And I like endings that don’t make you HAVE to read the next book to finish the story. I actually WANT to read the next one.

New Author for me. Looking for a new author to follow I was given the opportunity to read this book for free. I’m glad I did. Like many books there was a bit of a slow build to the story at the beginning but it kept my interest. Once I got to the turning point it just took off and I could not put it down. I did not expect it to end the way it did. Very unpredictable and exciting.

Enjoyable read with surprising end. Overall I enjoyed this book with a likes le rogue as the lead character. Perhaps a few extra chapters not required like the interview with older gossip lady but otherwise thumbs up!

An Exciting Read. This book was an exciting read. Right from the moment I opened this book I could not set it down. The plot had prevalent themes of mystery as well as exciting twists. I would recommend this book to those who are looking for an immersive read that will wholly occupy them self. The only negative remark I would voice in regards to this book is that, there are a lot of characters that are reintroduced at different stages throughout the book. Because of this, you do have to acknowledge each and every character and their role within the plot otherwise the events in the book can become hazy or even confusing. Overall it was a great read with an exhilarating plot, especially towards the end.
