HOLY CANNOLI THE SUSPENSE!. HOLY CANNOLI THE SUSPENSE! After successfully saving the president’s life, Cruce retires to Jameson Force Security for a new adventure. The favor turns out to be protecting his niece, Barrett, who has been working on a sensitive project, which is brought up on chatter from the country’s enemies. Devoted to her work and not happy with any change in her routine of constant work, Barrett is confused that her uncle would hire private security especially to protect her of all people. Indulging him, Barrett follows along with letting Cruce protect her, not believing in any threat to her life. But when there is an attempted kidnapping right under her nose, Barrett is shocked and realizes the threat and Cruce’s protection. Through protecting Cruce, he is immediately attracted, but is determined to focus on her safety rather than his budding feelings. Going to a safe house of sorts in order to fully protect her, Cruce starts to break Barrett’s shell of living and breathing work, and makes her experience more of life and less obsessing over work, and she decides to act on the increasing feelings towards him. With new insight, she finally cracks the code, and against everyone (especially Cruce’s) wishes, she reaches out to her uncle and her assistant letting them know, and when it leads to a successful kidnapping of Barrett, Cruce does anything and everything he possibly can to get her back and safely. This series from Sawyer just keeps getting better and I can’t get enough! The suspense and romance is off the charts and I thoroughly enjoy her writing. Total sidebar, also partial to this series because I’m born and raised in Pittsburgh, and of course have Pittsburgh Pride! Can’t wait for the next installment in this series! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Action Packed & Suspenseful. Code Name: Sentinel is the second book in the Jameson Force Security series. In this book we meet Cruce Britton. He is new to The Jameson Group, recently retiring from the Secret Service. Cruce is hired by the current president to protect the presidents niece, Barrett Alexander. Barrett is a really brilliant scientist that is on the brink of making a breakthrough of something to do with fusion energy. Someone doesn’t want her sharing what she knows and they’re after her. Cruce and Barrett’s relationship starts fairly slowly. Just one man protecting another. But while protecting her on a private island they spend a lot of time together and quickly fall in into bed and in love. I really liked both characters immensely. I enjoyed watching their relationship blossom. And I really like the suspense and action factors of their story. I definitely recommend this book to everyone who enjoys some action and suspense with their romance.

Action packed. Cruce is a member of the Jameson Force Security team. His latest assignment is to protect the President’s niece. Barrett is a brilliant scientist working on a project that can change the world. Her work is also wanted by a terrorists group. The story is full of action and suspense. It moves along fairly quickly. Review copy was received for a honest opinion.

Filled with action, danger, suspense, sizzling chemistry, lust, romance, and intense sex scenes, that will keep you on the edge of your seat. No matter what the genre, Sawyer Bennett always delivers something extraordinary. A charming, brave hero who’s as sexy as sin and a smart, independent, naive heroine, Cruce and Barrett’s story is amazing. Their attraction is immediate and mutual, as these two are forced off the grid and on the run, to protect Barrett and her fusion energy formula. But as they hide in paradise, they soon realize what is truly important. But when their position is compromised will these two make it, or will it be too little too late for a HEA? You don’t want to miss this one, so quit reading and get this book now! Loved getting an in-depth introduction to more new members of the Jameson Force Security team and I cant wait for the next in this series!!!

Barrett and Cruce!. Another great romantic suspense. I enjoyed seeing Barrett figure out how to have a balanced life and Cruce’s role in helping her. A definite winner!

Review: Jameson Force Security 2: Code Name: Sentinel. Code Name: Sentinel by Sawyer Bennett is the second standalone book in her Jameson Force Security series. A standalone book in a series of standalones where the stories each build off the other, you can read this without reading the first book, Code Name: Genesis, but why would you want to? Code Name: Sentinel jumped into the action with the threat looming over the President's niece, a highly intelligent, genius-level energy scientist, her current project has made her a target and it is up to Cruce to keep her safe. Even when that means keeping her safe on a luxury private island where they are the only residents. Great world-building and plot - full of action and heat! You just cannot go wrong with a Sawyer Bennett book! Enjoy!

Action Filled Romance. Lots of action and excitement in the newest addition to the Jameson Force Security series. Previous characters from the first book appear, but Code Name: Sentinel can definitely be read as a standalone. I really enjoyed this protector/forced proximity romance featuring Cruce and Barrett. They had wonderful chemistry and I loved the build up and tension between them. When things finally boil over with them, it was H-O-T!! I could see many of the scenes playing out in my mind like a movie. Parts of the book were a little predictable and others resolved a little too easily, but it didn't diminish my enjoyment. The epilogue left me with a smile on my face and I'm excited to see that Saint's story is next! *I voluntarily read an advance review copy of this book*

Loved it!. 5 Stars Code Name: Sentinel by Sawyer Bennett is the second book in the Jameson Force Security series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but I do recommend reading the first one as well. I LOVED the first book but honestly, this one was out of this world amazing too. Code Name: Sentinel is so addicting, fast paced, and kept me on my toes the entire time. After being a hero in the secret service, Cruce is now part of the Jameson Force Security. He’s smart, focused, and dependable. So when the president calls in a favor, he can’t say no. He was not expecting his entire life to change… I absolutely ADORED Barrett! She is a successful scientist and has been working on a really important formula that can change the world. Problem is, someone doesn’t want it to happen. When she meets Cruce, sparks fly. But he’s only there to protect her... I loved this story so much! The chemistry between Barrett and Cruce was HOT as hell!! The plot was fantastic and I cannot wait for the next book in the series!

A great storyline and audiobook!. I really enjoyed this bodyguard/client storyline with a suspense element. I loved their banter and chemistry. I was hooked from beginning to end. Jason Clarke and Lucy Rivers rocked the narration. Can’t wait to read the next book in this series!

Incredible romantic suspense!!. I could not put this book down once I started! This is such a fantastic series by Sawyer Bennett and I don’t know how she does it, but each book is as amazing as the last!! I think it had everything to do with the incredible complex characters she has created with edge of your seat storylines. Cruce is one of those characters and is the perfect hero. Protection is in his nature. This is such an amazing romantic and suspenseful story with all the fixings I want in a romantic suspense! Cruce is former Secret Service and is now working at Jameson Force Security and so far enjoying his new life and career. He is asked personally to protect the President’s niece, by the President himself, since he saved his life when he was on his detail as the VP. Barrett Alexander is unlike any woman Cruce has ever met. She works all the time and is totally devoted to her research but pretty much has no life beyond that. Oh but there is definitely chemistry between them. When Barrett and Cruce have to go into hiding off the grid, Cruce shows her everything she’s been missing. And I do mean everything. Love this story and these two together are perfect! Can’t wait for more of the team at Jameson Force!

Amazing story. Wow. What an amazing story. It is unusual for the female lead to go through physical torture, but that is what happened here. Cruce went through mental anguish, but Barrett had to suffer the physical consequences. My only criticism was we didn't see the mental/emotional fallout from the physical abuse. But that could be a book all by itself. Being related to the president and a brainiac are tough jobs. Barrett has always felt removed from the dangers, but now danger is her middle name. She doesn't know how to have fun and relax, but Cruce will make sure she learns. Cruce is good for her. He loosens her up and yet challenges her. Barrett makes him want more out of life than he thought was possible for him. Everyone else can see they are in love, but they are denying it. Until ... I am enjoying this series so far. I'm looking forward to the next book to see who falls, for whom and what kind of trouble or danger they get into. Bring on more Jameson Force Security.

Code name treat. I read/listened to this book, the second in this series by Sawyer Bennett. I loved Cruce and Barrett’s chemistry together. They are great and you can’t help but root for them. The twists and turns in the story keep,you riveted and I didn’t want to put this book/audio down. I now have to go and read the first book in the series, I could keep up even though I haven’t read it bit know I am just curios. I highly recommend this read.

When chatter comes through the President’s office that Barrett may be a target for terrorists, he places a call to Cruce. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Nothing else to say that would adequately describe this novel. Fast-paced, on the edge of your seat romance! Barrett is a strong, highly educated woman who, with Cruce’s help, learns that work isn’t “everything” in life. I love how supportive, yet firm Cruce is with Barrett. Combustible passion. The ending was twisted and surprising! I loved that I couldn’t figure out the ending, like so many other novels. Sawyer Bennett’s stories are gritty, but romantic. Quite possibly the best novel yet! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

an entertaining romanctic suspense. This fast-paced romantic suspense hooked me right from the first page and kept me entertained until the very end. I love how this author creates likable, well-developed characters and mixes that right amount of action and suspense with romance and kindle-melting chemistry. Barrett is an exceptionally brilliant scientist who happens to be the niece of the president and her research has put her in the sights of some rather unsavory people. With her life on the line, the president turns towards retired secret service agent and current Jameson Force Security member, Cruce. Cruce is in full blown protective mode and sparks fly as these two find themselves in the cross hairs of someone who wants to steal Barrett’s free energy formula. Cruce is everything that I hoped for as a hero in that he is strong, sexy, and very protective of Barrett. He seems to really understand her and her hyper-focused mindset, but he also helps draw her out of her work bubble. I was concerned that with Barrett’s single-minded focus on work that she would be difficult to related to, but I was very wrong. She is an engaging heroine that is kind, highly intelligent, and comes to recognize through her time with Cruce that she is missing out on simply living life. The two of them are opposites and it was fun to watch their relationship evolve into something that went beyond client and bodyguard. This book has a fair amount of action and suspense which I loved and I also enjoyed seeing of the other members from Jameson Force Security. While this is book 2 in the series, Cruce and Barrett’s story can be read as a standalone. I received an early complimentary version of this book.

Love!. Super smart heroines are my favourite and this book is right up there with my top faves, Barrett is crazy smart and career focused and Cruce is protective and more than a bit alpha. I really enjoyed they’re story, I was torn between not wanting to put it down and also wanting to read it slower so it didn’t end ! I’m so excited for more of this series!

Loved it. The second book in the latest series from Sawyer Bennett is Cruce Britton and Barrett Alexander’s story. This book was well written, exciting to read, emotional and at times intense as Cruce and Barrett struggle with the danger that Barrett suddenly finds herself in. Barrett is the niece of the US President and thanks to a breakthrough that will rock the entire world, the energy scientist’s life is now in danger. The one man the President knows he can depend on to keep her safe is Cruce, his former secret service agent, who is the latest recruit to the Jameson Security team. Will Cruce be able to keep Barrett safe, or will the increasing threats and danger put her life in further jeopardy? Complications arise when feelings become involved, as the chemistry and attraction quickly escalates between them. What will happen to their blossoming romance once the danger is neutralised? I really loved these characters and was captivated as Sawyer Bennett wove her story; in fact I was glued to the book from start to finish and I didn’t want it to end. The romance and suspense are well balanced and this was an exciting and intriguing read.

Sentinel. I love this author. The story she gives us in this second book is a mind twisting one full of suspense, hooks and plenty hot!! Jameson Security is the base and in this Cruce fights to protect the niece of the President, a man whose life he saved years prior. Bennett is the genius scientist kidnapped on Cruce’s watch...its a page turner. It has depth and characters you will want to know. As the story comes to life in your mind you are at the end of it before you realize you never put it down. I love Happy endings cause real life is not always that way so I love Sawyer to whisk me away on an adventure packed with surprises, panty melting hotness and characters that are too good to put down.
