His demand. Thank goodness I went to the last page. I hate books that don’t finish the story! Could have been good but I won’t read a book that leaves you having to buy the next book to find out what happens! Probably won’t get another book by this author.

A very good book but left with a lot of questions. Obviously, this is part one of a two part series. This is Abbie and Gabe’s story. The characters are the epitome of lust/love at first sight. It’s a very good book. I always love reading anything from Lisa Renee Jones. I also love “seeing” characters from her previous books make an appearance. This book was paced pretty quickly and an entertaining read. It held my attention and as a bonus it’s animal lover friendly. The ending is a cliff hanger and I was left with so many questions unanswered. I’m am impatiently awaiting book two.

Gabe and Abigail. Gabe is a powerhouse in the legal world, but not so much with woman. There was one woman, KM.... will he ever talk about it or love again? Abigail has an Ex husband.... Evil, pure Evil. When she divorce that man, took nothing, she felt life can move on. But the Devil himself wants more, wants her mother animal shelter...wants Abigail back. Abigail doesn’t trust, Gabe doesn’t trust.... so can they learn to trust each other? This is a great story with 2 main characters that need to come together and they want to come together..... so will they? Awaiting on Book 2!!!

His Demand (Dirtier Duet Book1). His Demand is the first book in the Dirtier Duet. You will want to read book 2 coming soon because it ends on a doozy of a cliffhanger. His Demand is Abigail Tanner and Gabe Maxwell’s story. Gabe has been introduced before in the Dirty Rich Series but, you don’t have to read that series unless you want to. Abigail (Abbie to only Gabe no one else can use her shortened name) goes to Reid Maxwell’s law office because she wants to hire him to fight her ex-husband for something that her ex wants from her mother. Only Reid is on his honeymoon so she will just have to deal with Gabe. Gabe wants Abbie! Yet, Abbie is all the things he avoids. He would never go after a redhead and Abbie is one. Gabe and Abbie can’t seem to be able to resist each other & get down and dirty enough to make His Demand Hot & Sexy! Gabe and Abbie continue in the last book in the Dirtier Duet Series. Now I can’t wait to get my hands on Her Submission and you can pre-order it now! Which I have! His Demands is 4.5 stars.

I loved this book!. First off I want to say this has a cliffhanger. I knew it had one but it was still a shock. This book really sets the stage for the next book that will I’m sure have a huge plot of angst and misconceptions. I love Gabe and Abbie. Gabe is fierce as well as being dominant and alpha. Abbie is strong willed and has been hurt emotionally. The writing is terrific.

What a whirlwind. 4.5 Stars I don’t even remember this book being on my radar and then all the sudden it was here and wow! It was amazing! An instant attraction and a promise of something more. These two were on fire. I loved their chemistry and the fast pace of their relationship. What a whirlwind. As with all of the books in this series, we have the added entertainment of a mystery. I am completely in the dark as to where Jones is going with this aspect. I’m questioning everyone’s motives and wondering how things will play out. I knew going into this book that it would be a duet and having read many of Jones’s books in the past, I had an idea of how things would end but I was not expecting the shock I got! I don’t know what to think and I need answers!! Can’t wait for the next book.

Ugh. Ugh I wanted to enjoy this book but I didn’t. I rolled my eyes constantly. The lead characters talked way too much about their emotions and I felt like the story was dragging. Time passed so slowly because they went back and forth on how they felt at every turn. I didn’t make it to the end.

Can’t wait for more!!!. I loved Gabe’s story. I can’t wait to read book two of this duet. I love this authors writing. She always has a way of sucking me into the story and I don’t want to put it down. These characters, Gabe and Abbie, have great chemistry. I love this twist and turns and mystery of this book. I never know what is going to happen or what else will unravel.

Loving his demands!. Wow, what an enthralling book! There is insta-lust between Gabe & Abigail (or Abbie as he calls her), and I loved it! Their chemistry is scorching from the beginning, & it never lets up! Once we start getting into the meat of the story, I didn’t want to stop reading. I won’t spoil the plot of the book, so you will have to read it for yourselves! Both Gabe & Abbie have secrets & pasts that have hurt & haunted them. I felt for both of them, & I can’t wait to find out what those secrets are. I knew Gabe from other books in the Dirty Rich series (you can read this as a stand-alone), but I loved getting to know more about him in this book. His smile & sense of humor deflect from what is going on underneath, & I love that Abbie figured that out. Abbie tries to run from this relationship with Gabe to protect him & herself, & I love that he doesn’t let her. Trust is an issue for both of them, & I can’t wait to see if they work it out in the next book especially after that cliffhanger!

Wow. Just Wow.. I LOVED His Demand -- and I knew I would. Gabe Maxwell has been a sexy, snarky, uber-alpha enigma since we first met him in Lisa's Dirty Rich series. His story promised to be a little bit dark, a whole lot sexy, and a genuine emotional roller coaste. It checked off all of those boxes and a few more. I know I will read it again, maybe even later tonight. I admit, I've enjoyed every book in the Dirty Rich series. And until today, Reid Maxwell was my go-to bad boy billionaire. But Gabe? He's breath-taking. Funny. Drop-Dead Sexy. Protective. Secretive. Dangerous. Deeply conflicted. But also amazingly tender, thoughtful, affectionate, and loyal -- all attributes he believed himself incapable of. Until Abbie. This book has its share of frustrating moments - mostly in the push-pull, "Are you in or are you out?" battles with his equally strong, equally secretive, deeply damaged love interest, Abbie. But if ever two people deserved, needed, and were meant for each other, this couple is IT. Their story will capture you, heart and soul. It will - at least in this first installment - leave you with more questions than answers. But it's totally worth it. And -- if that isn't enough to sell you on His Demand, along comes a dog named Dexter who is so, so perfect for Gabe that he brightens even the darkest moments in this highly suspenseful story. If you've read the other books in this series, you'll enjoy brief revisits with Grayson and Mia, and Reid and Carrie. Knowing their stories will help you appreciate this one even more - but if you haven't read them yet, you can start with His Demand and catch up later. Unlike some series spin-offs, this book can stand on its own. There is a cliff-hanger, but please don't let that stop you -- you need this book, if only for the anticipation that after some harrowing days ahead, Gabe and Abbie will find the healing they both need, and Lisa's readers will once again be left blissfully satisfied.

Intense!. Gabe is back! He seemed the easy going brother in previous books of the Dirty series. He was anything but easy going in this one. I think we are finally going to learn what has made Gabe a forever playboy. That is until Abbie came into his life. Both Gabe and Abbie have some pretty messed up pasts but they are not revealed in this book. This was the start of their relationship that jumps right into the action of Abbies Ex and Gabe's fathers manipulations. There is a lot of relationship angst to start. With the trust issues these two have, it takes them some time to realize that even if they don't know how to trust, they still can't seem to stay away from each other. That's the kind of angst I don't mind in my stories because they stay together as they work through it. This does end on a pretty big cliffhanger that has me wondering how this will effect their relationship. I think these two will learn they are more like each other than they think.

I need more!. Oh please give me more! His Demand gives you the thrills and chills! A lot of chemistry that is so hot your kindle is about to combust! Gabe is a new favorite hero by LRJ and I love every dirty detail about him! Abbie is the perfect heroine. She is strong willed and will make sure no-one will ever control her again.. well outside the bedroom ;) His Demand is the perfect mixture of suspense and romance. A great read for the Valentine season. His Demand will have you yelling, Yes Sir! I love how previous characters that we met in the Dirty series come in and make your heart pound hard! I am jumping in my seat with the anticipation for book two!

Slow. Slower than other titles by the same author. Not sure if I will read Part Two for that reason.

Must Love Gabe. We all fell in love with Gabe when we met him as Reid’s sexy, lawyer brother. He is one of the good guys, but due to a bad past, he doesn’t want to ever love another woman. He was burned once and that was enough for him or so he thought, until he met Abbie. Abbie, it took me a while to warm up to her. She seemed to be hiding something and always trying to run away. She had issues with her ex-husband and didn’t want to put Gabe or anyone close to him in her ex’s crosshairs. I loved this book and can’t wait to get the next book. This series can be read as a stand-alone, but you get a chance to meet a lot of the other characters in some of Lisa’s previous series.

Decadent, Delicious & Dangerously Addictive!. Decadent, Delicious & Dangerously Addictive! Lisa Renee Jones is at the top of my auto-buy list, and “His Demand” is the perfect example why. From the very first page, Lisa Renee Jones sucked me in with a story that crackles with combustible heat, a connection, attraction, friendship and desire all wrapped up in one. Incredibly passionate and addictive. The characters are damaged, broken people who have found each other. But there is a darkness, surrounding them, filled with danger, deceptions, lies and secrets that is right below the surface, and around every turn. Bravo! You have my full attention and I cannot wait to see what happens next. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Great Read. I’ve been reading Lisa Renee Jones for a while and she never seems to disappoint and this is no exception. I’m loving Gabe and Abbie’s story. The love scenes are hot but most importantly there is a mystery which makes her books even better. Totally recommend this story. I can guarantee you will enjoy it.

Suspense wrapped in a romance novel. And she does it again! The thing that makes Lisa’s books do special is her talent for spinning intrigue, with suspense, all while writing a hot sexy romance novel! And the end will leave you wanting book 2 ASAP!!

Good but a bit repetitive. His Demand is about a single rich guy meeting a single used to be rich woman, however things take a turn when she realises that he owns the law firm she wants to hire to take down her ex husband. They end up together but this is were it does get a bit repetitive. It is a good story and ends on a cliffhanger, I’m looking forward to the next instalment.

I don’t know whether I want to take Gabe and Abbie and shake some sense into their stubborn skulls or hug them close and try to make everything all right. They’re both stubborn, alpha, Type-A personalities that don’t play well with others And yet their broken places line up perfectly to provide strength and support where the other is the weakest. I’m now highly invested in their story and anxious to see what comes next. I’ll also likely be one-clicking the books that came before this since I haven’t read them yet. As per Lisa’s style of writing there is a slight cross-over with the Tall, Dark And Deadly series, and the appearance of Walker Security, as well as several characters from the author’s Dirty Rich series. Told from dual first person perspectives (Abbie and Gabe) HIS DEMAND follows attorney Abbie Tanner as she struggles to stay one step ahead of her past, a past that will come full-circle with connections to our story line hero. Hoping to convince Reid Maxwell to take her case, Abbie will come face to face with the man who would steal her heart. His Demand. While the story is there brewing under the surface chapters upon chapters are wasted on repeating “Abby you are mine” and then abby droning through her “I should leave him to protect him ~no stay, no leave...” It almost made me leave. Not the usual from this author and the second book is actually rated like #9 so maybe this is a slow perk up to the action but its best not to perk for too long cause you lose us. There is really very little you learn about Gabe and Abby neither one opens up and no catalyst to make it open up and go deep into a story you can fall for. Literally there is no story yet. Gabe is a lawyer. His brother,also a lawyer has been on his honeymoon for the entire book. Abby needed Gabe and his brother to represent her but we still do not know why. Her ex husband is evil and dangerous, no one knows why. He has some tie to the estranged father of Reid and Gabe...no idea what. It ends with “your ex husband is dead” okay then...literally that is the whole book. No depth to the characters yet which is disappointing cause you wanna love them...the dog, Dexter he is a cutie. I pray book two is not 10 more chapters of “your ex husband is dead” and some real action and story happens. If you are doing secrets, sex and murder make it BIG. Compel us to keep reading!
