Confessions of a Naughty Nanny ( Lake Starlight Alaska book 6 ) by Piper Rayne. I love this series can’t stop reading each book until it’s finished . This is Phoenix and Griffin’s story , Griffin a famous music producer moves to Lake Starlight and has given up his career to raise his son in this small town in Alaska . Phoenix who has always wanted a music career finds a way to meet Griffin by pretending to be a nanny and is hired by him to take care of his son. See what happens that finally leads to a HEA for these two .

Love Lake Starlight and the Baileys!. I love being immersed in the world of Lake Starlight and the Bailey family!  The only thing missing was the Buzz Wheel stories, but I have a feeling the author is about to come to light soon! This is Phoenix's story, she is the youngest of the Bailey clan and a self-proclaimed black sheep. I love her tough exterior and her sassy attitude.  But I also empathize with her fragility and her bucking the trend and becoming something of her own. Now I know this is Phoenix and Griffin's story, but it is so much more.  I love how each story in this series brings us closer and closer to the whole Bailey clan.  The heartbreak and the happiness. Yes there is a bit of an age gap between Griffin and Phoenix, but come on, it's not that big of a gap and they fit each other so well.  I enjoyed seeing Griffin's passion for music and his passion for Phoenix come to the forefront of this story. I also wanted to shake him and smack him upside the head for making decisions that were not his alone to make, but all comes through at the end! Readers, do yourself a favor and get this book and all the books in the Baileys series.

Engaging. I loved reading a story where you can feel how the character feels. Great writing and awesome love story with a different type of family dynamics.

Phoenix and Griffin’s story. Another enjoyable book by Piper Rayne! This is the sixth book in the Bailey series that are centered on the nine Bailey siblings in a small Alaskan town. What is fun with this series is that the authors tackle a different romance trope in each book. This book centers around Phoenix Bailey, the youngest (along with twin sister Sedona) of the Bailey clan. Phoenix is a bit adrift, she tried to make it in LA as a singer, but came back to Lake Starlight with her tail between her legs. After trying her hand at the various family businesses, she cannot seem to find her place. When she happens upon Griffin Thorne, Lake Starlight’s newest resident, and former music producer, she may have exaggerated her child caring background to finagle a job as Griffin’s sons nanny. This sets up the forbidden Nanny trope (as well as the forbidden friend’s younger sister trope). Griffin and Phoenix are both likable characters and their romance was fun to follow. What kept this from being a five star read for me was that I felt that the romance was a bit rushed. I would have liked a little more interaction between Griffin and Phoenix to see the love develop. Overall it is a great read in a fun series. I received an ARC of this book from the author for my honest review.

Loved everything about it!. You know when they say they save the best for last??? Well this is so true for Phoenix’s book! Goodness me! The youngest sibling in the Bailey family is definitely something else!! Talk about sizzling tension up the wazoo??!! But Phoenix is vulnerable and so unsure of herself, it makes me love her so much more! What woman doesn’t feel like that in some way at some point in her life? Can Griffin help Phoenix soar?? This book had everything you could want to make a great story and it made me want to find this town and live there! The support the Bailey family give each other and those close to them is nothing short of extraordinary and Grandma Dori being the matriarch has her part too! So flipping amazing, I laughed, shed a few tears and loved everything about this book! So very excited for more if this series and what else is in store from this amazing duo of authors! Each book just gets better and better! Great work ladies!!!

Love the Baileys. I fall more in love with this series, the Bailey’s and their circle of friends as I read each new addition. I adore small town romances and often find myself wishing that I could be a part of the Lake Starlight, Alaska community. Whenever I pick up a Piper Rayne book about the Bailey’s I know there will be plenty of humour, family and romance. Confessions Of A Naughty Nanny is full of love, family fun shenanigans and ticked all the boxes for me. I love Phoenix and Griffin together, what an absolutely awesome pairing these two made. I also loved the relationship that Phoenix has with his son, Maverick(don’t call me Mav). Phoenix has always been the least successful Bailey(in her view) and having to return home after her singing career stalls, has left her with doubts and insecurities. Learning that Declan’s friend, ex music producer Griffin Thorne, has moved to Lake Starlight to start over, Phoenix is desperate to meet the man who could reignite her singing career, however Declan refuses to introduce her. Phoenix being the resourceful woman she is, manages to meet and get hired as a nanny for Maverick. I loved how feisty, spunky and determined Phoenix is, she is enthusiastic and yet underneath the surface is a woman who is extremely vulnerable. The banter between them had me almost in tears at times, such was the humour. The chemistry between the two is so intense, that you can almost feel the sparks flying. From start to finish, I was captivated by this story. There is so much to love about this story and I hate that we have to wait for so long for Juno’s story. As always Grandma Dori almost steals the book and it was wonderful catching up with the Bailey clan.
