Enjoyable. A really great read. In particular at the beginning where she shares the story of her childhood and teenage years and how she started in the industry. There are parts toward the middle where there’s a little too much description for things that are already public knowledge such as the movie Coming to America or how they judged on the Voice. Those pages felt like fillers. Overall I appreciated the sharing of her journey and how she arrived at the core of who she is as a woman and an artist. A lot of her story resonated with me.

Awesome!!!. This book is a must READ. I admire Alicia for her honesty, tenacity, and sheer talent. Her story is inspirational on so many levels. WOW!!!
