The Private Guest by Kate Dawes. Evan Crawford (Adam Lewis) sis the songwriting guitarist for a popular band. For health reasons he takes a hiatus, and is staying at a resort in Charleston NC. Audrey Mitchell works as the AM Concierge at the resort for the bungalow that Evan is staying in. She has no idea who he is, but falls into bed with him. Audreys ex-boyfriend tries to reach out to her. But she is soooo done with him. She tells Adam that she doesn’t want anything serious because he’ll be leaving at the end of summer.

Private Guest. Really good book! I’m just wondering what her reaction is going to be when she finds out the truth!!

The Private Guest. I love how the book doesn’t dance around and gets right to the point. I like both sides being presented. Downside is it could be way longer.

Artistry Lost. Explosive chemistry. Trying to find oneself. The past versus the future. Lots of elements that keep looping in Adam/Evans mind. When life throws you a major curveball and you flounder it then what keeps you stable? Audrey is attracted to Adam but she doesn’t know that he’s actually Evan and very famous. Fighting ghosts of her own leaves her vulnerable and yet excited by what Adam seems to be offering. Will a summer fling be all that they have or will it evolve into something else?

Good start. This is my first book by Kate Dawes. Good start to a series. Can’t wait to see what happens when the truth is revealed.

Taste of control. The main character, Evan, is interesting. His life is very out of control yet he wants full control in the bedroom. This book barely scrapes the surface of his needs. Audrey falls into his web and can’t seem to get enough. Her family is her world but you can see Evan start to take control of her thoughts. The story is good and the sex scenes are hot. Can’t wait to read the next one.
