Told with relatable humor that will have you laughing throughout, Mat Best tells how he found his purpose as a US Army Ranger, only to lose his way upon transitioning out of the military. Becoming an entrepreneur turned out to be his way forward, and his story is one of hope for anyone facing major setbacks or a difficult life transition. TD, US Marine

Best book in a long time. This is the best book I’ve read in a very long time. It takes a humorous dive into what Mat Best has done and gone through in his life and service to the country. Listen to the Drinkin’ Bros podcast. They give even more insight into the culture of this book. Highly recommend both!

A real book.. This is the writing of a real person. Emphasis on the real. How real people adapt and overcome, through humor. Loved the book, first book I ever pre-ordered.

Amazing. Im a Junior in hischool and this book helped passed the time and was truly amazing and hilarious. Although I wished some parts where not blacked out. but this is a great book. 🇺🇸

Funny and unfiltered. I really wish there wasn’t so much of this book that was blacked out. It was super frustrating and took away from the overall stories. I really enjoyed reading about his military service but not so much his party stories. I thought there would be more military material. Just different than what I expected but what I did read about the deployments and what led up to them was great!

Great Book Better Man. I have no military background but love our service men and women who risk it all for the sake of our freedom. What an amazing book written by an amazing human being. Some of the stories will have you laughing so hard that you can’t breath. I love this book and love what Mat Best stands for. He has dedicated his life to helping others that struggle to help themselves and that speaks louder than anything in this book. Wonderful job!
